Thank you! I love free....I wanted to try hand applique and hand embroidery this year so I found these free BOMs:
Birdie Stitches
My Tweets
Yes, the My Tweets are gorgeous, but I rather liked the Birdie Stitches. No new BOMs for me this year - it's the years of finishing up some projects.
I started Birdie Stitches last night, but I may start over. I'm going to do some more research about transferring patterns and embroidery stitches.
I know of a terrific product called Transfer Ease. You put it in your printer, copy the pattern onto the Transfer Ease and then iron it on the top of the fabric your are embroidering on. After you have completed the embroidery, you get the Transfer Ease wet and it dissolves. It's the coolest stuff. Send me your home address and I will send you a couple of sheets to try. I've looked quickly on-line and cannot locate it....I know we have some at the shop.
That product seems like a life saver. I appreciate the offer. Is there anything I can offer in trade? Is there a way to private message here or should I just post in thread?

Shannon, if you click on the person's name that's in the tan bar, that takes you to the person's "homepage". You can then click on "send message" and correspond that way. :-)

Click on my name and go to my page and send me a note via goodreads or my home e-mail and send it to me. I think you will love this product. We have a group of embroidery ladies at the shop every Tuesday and they are the ones that told us about it.
