LOL! Well, thanks, but I like to think I left room for improvement!
I really liked the Botany Quizzes as well. Those were probably the best Middle Earth quizzes yet. Nice and challenging.
EVERYONE!!!I have some quizzes too! To make it easier for me I just posted the link to all my quizzes.

I've taken all of Connor's quizzes and they're very good - well recommended!

Once I finish The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion again (and maybe Unfinished Tales) I'm going to make a quiz about the Elvish Language.
Sooooo hard! 26%....I guess it would help if i had read the Silmarillion a little sooner than 7 years ago! :p
Part one - 5 out of 15 (33% correct) oh dear! it really did make me thinkpart two - 4 out of 15 (26% correct) oh dear, it gets harder!
...need to revise
Now these are some great quizzes! I took Botany - Part 1 but as I would still be considered a casual Tolkien reader I only scored 6 correct. I haven't read The Silmarllion yet but I'm getting there :P (been reading books about LotR and Tolkien first). I will have to check out the rest of the quizzes once I've done some more reading :)
Thanks for taking the quiz, Reno. I'm sure you'll love the Silmarillion. It's the foundation upon which Tolkien built his other works.
We recently had the Silmarillion as a Group Read, and now Lord of the Rings - I don't think I've ever read the two so closely together, and I'm getting more out of LoTR as a result. I'm only up to Bree, but once they join up with Aragorn and he starts quoting some of the old Elvish poems I think I'll really appreciate it.

73% of part one of the quiz! Although one or two questions I got right only because I just read the answers in LOTR
I got 20 right out of 24 and I am surprised. Sometimes i just let my right brain do the work ( Like not reading the directions to a game and just doing it and letting the right brain correct.)

Yes, I am looking forward to tackling it later in the year! I've been putting it off for ages because I know it's going to be a more difficult read and I wanted to 'prepare', but also because I like 'looking forward' to reading it - I'm sure I will find it fascinating :)
Thanks for taking the quiz, Anne Marie. It's one that I actually had to research, rather than simply knowing all the answers myself, so I know that the questions are tough! My next LoTR quiz will, I think, be a little less abstruse!
Excellent score, Arok! There's a "Part 2" to the quiz (another 15 questions) if you fancy taking it :-)
Never thought I would do well on two quizzes on botany, but I got ten out of fifteen right for Part One and the same score for Part Two of the Middle Earth Botany Quiz, so that is not too bad. I enjoyed doing both quizzes. They were as good as the Middle Earth Pub Crawl Quiz. Well done to Michael for putting them together so well. Treebeard would have been proud of you.
Oh man I'm so irritated, should have rechecked my answers, how did some of them get changed? #9 and #14 I had right dang it :( Oh well, still did better than I thought I would!

I think it's pretty difficult for the casual J.R.R. Tolkien reader, but for the experts in this group it should be easy!
