The Next Newbie in Line

Hello!

I am a book buying addict. I bought 13 books today. I bought 5 yesterday. No, I have not read any of them. I'm still reading my e-book.

I am a former English major, married with three kittens, and working to develop my children and middle grade library.

My YA collection defies bookcases, and my memoirs are battling for shelf space with urban fantasy, and those beautiful clothbound classics are edging out my worn & torn classics. I've newly renewed my manga addiction, and have several volumes that have no home.

I made the mistake of going through my pile of books waiting for a trip to the used bookstore...and ended up putting half back on my shelves.

I've been on GoodReads for a year, but haven't been in an active group before. I'm hoping to find some new reading friends, and pick up suggestions as well!

Man! Too bad your husband is not an author. It would be a heavenly match where you could become like that movie misery.lol. You can break his legs if he stops writing, and you wouldn't have to pay for books!.

Haha! Unfortunately, I'm the writer in the relationship. He just keeps me current in science fiction books, since I'm not too current on what the best read is in that genre.
