I was not offended^^ It takes a lot to offend me, as long as no one is saying stupid things about my country, which is not the case, so don't worry, Shannon.
I guess we'll have to agree in disagreeing, then. The magic in the book is harmless, the spells contain nothing 'evil', only if latin is evil ^^ Some of them may sound weird to some ppl, but as a native portuguese speaker, most of them sound very similar to my language. But it's yr opinion, and I don't wanna mess with religion, honestly.
I believe in God, but I don't have any specific religion, and don't want to. I have serious issues with religion, but I respect other people's faith, as long as they don't want to push it in other people's lives. I hope I did not offend you, Shannon, because I think you're a really nice person :D

Hey guys! I'm Firestormkittycat (long story) from MN, I think Harry Potter is one of the best series ever (next to Percy Jackson, Eragon, Maximum Ride, Magyk, Hunger Games, Fablehaven, etc) and I'm Catholic and everything anyone has said about HP being demonic or whatever is insane. It's fiction, so obviously the magic is fake, and like someone mentioned: the friendship is amazingful. Anywho, I thought the group looked fun (I was browsing the site and was bored) so I joined!!
