Amanda Weight collapsing on its self.

My Physics teacher actually tackled the issue head on, keep in mind he was a Muslim also. I've seen a lot of people give commentary (and for some reason their opinion is broadcasted) even though they are not Physicists or Engineers.

Here is an article which uses easy to understand reasoning: http://www.tms.org/pubs/journals/jom/...

I would also like to point out that terrorism is not a product of 9/11, terrorism from people claiming to be Muslims was around before then but things didnt get messy until 9/11. Now, terrorism is rampant worldwide. Read news in Pakistan, every week there is a new horrible attack killing Muslim men, women and Children. Azubillah.

Halik (whacko) | 35 comments Yeah i feel that the circumstances surrounding 9/11 were somewhat strange and watching Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 didn't help dispel that notion!

If we're saying that the buildings collapsed for a different reason then we're talking about an inside job on a massive, massive scale. Maybe the US government just wanted to create an excuse to attack the Iraq, Afghan region. They certainly did show a callous disregard for human life then. What's to say they don't secretly feel the same callousness towards the lives of their own countrymen?

Buy, like Amanda says, i think all these are in that grey area of conspiracy theories. and no proof is yet available either way.

Djayawarman Alamprabu | 1 comments I think we should always use our heads in analyzing every phenomena and questions all the information that available.

"Knowledge is a lock its key is questions". Saying of Imam Jafar the Six 6 imam.

So it not the question believe or not to believe but from all the available information we can estimate that 80% proof stated that US government has strong probability on designing and actuating 911.

The Fact that US government till today 'Obama" still don't wan't to have independent investigation on 911 clearly indicate something. If this 911 truth was discovered imagine what will happen in Iraq, Pakistan, Afganisthan, Palestine I'm sure the WORLD has the right to pull US army and interest from there if the 911 Truth was revealed.

i thought it was excellent. Lawrence Wright writes beautifully and is not a Muslim-hater. he spoke to lots and lots and lots of people and did a ton of research in order to write this book. i'd love to know what others think.

Marieke | 35 comments it's widely available in the U.S. but I don't know about elsewhere.
i'll try to find an interview with Lawrence Wright about his experiences working on the book.

Wendy (wendywins) | 78 comments If something is obvious, there is no need to expend money to "investigate it". Despite the various suggestions that it was something more..and that Jews or the American Government or the CIA somehow made this happen....
No one does not believe that the planes crashed into the buildings. No one does not believe that those who were Islamic extremists on the planes did not deliberately cause them to do so.
I was at home and saw the events unfolding on TV as they happened. I had friends and family in New York City at the time. Conspiracy theories crop up when an event is so momentous or outrageous that one can not imagine that such a thing could have happened without the involvement of immense forces and powers beyond some nutty fanatics or chance.
Unfortunately, horrible things can be done by people who are not competent or successful in other ways in their lives or even mentally balanced. Hitler was not successful at anything including human relationships or being a house painter until he developed his rise to power and then he did insanely horrible things and dragged the world into war which devastated countries (including his own).
In America just recently, a crazy young man shot in his 20's , at a public meeting, shot and killed people (including a federal judge, a 9 year old girl, some retired citizens, and badly wounded his target, a US Congresswoman named Gabriela Giffords of Arizona, whom he shot in the head. The Congresswoman's husband happens to be a US astronaut. There was no conspiracy but I will bet you that eventually, someone will suggest one. Why? Because some people are reluctant to believe that one crazy person could bring down someone famous...like one of the Beatles or President Kennedy or create such disaster. It reminds people that no one is immune from the fickle fate of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and being subject to a crazy or stupid act. Unfortunately, we must accept that it is true. We are not immune from such things and there may or may not be any one so powerful on earth (certainly not "the jews", the CIA or the American government or GW Bush) as to prevent every potential disaster or crime from being perpetrated by people ( or being the instigator of it )..including crazy ones or generally not competent people. It happens. Mistakes, oversights, lapses in security or attention, or assumptions that no one would be so crazy as to see a need to do certain things...result in such things actually being done. Ever hear of a smart world war? No. ALL were disasters including to those countries which initiated them.. America's mistakes in going into Iraq under that great idiot GW Bush is also a war with unintended consequences and costs to America with unforseen "winners".

i really just dont get any of that crap. like seriously, i never believed it was muslim extremists who did 9/11 even when i was catholic, because why would the fastest spreading religion in the world allow such violence and maliciousness to any place? obviously, the poeple behind it were not muslim extremists, they were just terrorists who hid behind a muslim image. no where in the Quran does it say that go blow up your enemy randomly and kill a bunch of people just because they're different. it's really annoying how people think it's the muslims fault, cuz hello, those people weren't really true muslims were they? and not to go all omnimous or assuming or anything, but i really dont think they got any good deads from what they did.

Wendy (wendywins) | 78 comments Extremists never reflect the mainstream of their religion...be it Catholic, Islamic, Hindu, or Protestant..but that does not change how the terrorists saw themselves (as Muslim). I am certainly not saying they represented their religion well(!) but am suggesting that those who say that somehow the 9-11 terrorist attack was masterminded, supported or in reality a Jewish plot or done by the CIA or the US government is seriously nutty.

well those terrorists were some pretty screwed up jackasses to thing that they were going to heaven over something like that.

Wendy (wendywins) | 78 comments Nobody knows the rules for heaven so I suppose they thought they had the inside info ..like so many do.
