I would just be so happy that a Harry Potter character exist, no matter is he's Snape!

I'd like to say that I'd react coolly and possibly ask him some meaningful questions and/or modestly praise him on his heroic actions, etc,. but I'll be honest in admitting that I would probably either faint from shock, or scream very loudly and try to tackle him and umm... yeah... :D
The sad moment when you realize that even if wizards exist, you're still a Muggle.
But no matter. The American Hogwarts letter just comes a little later. We go to a different school, after all. Our education is 18-25.

I think Snape is the most diverse character and that JKR put more thought into him than any other character and as a result he is the most debated upon, thought, remembered, hard to decipher, character in the series. Can anyone argue with that?
I love Snape! he's my favorite ever! next to henry the ant of course

I would:1. Say hey
2. (assuming he responds) Ask him if he wants to go for some butterbeer
3. (assuming he says yes) Tell him that he needs to wash his hair first
4. (assuming he goes to his house and washes his hair) Say let's go
5. Go to the pub and get some butterbeer
6. Ask him about his family (I was always curious about what went on at his house when he was a kid that made him who he was...Anyone else?)
