Thanks, Kelli! Here's the Shelfari Link to Shadowfever. From there, just click on the "Read First Chapter" button, as Kelli mentioned.
It seems that it was removed but Karem has since posted it on her blog: http://karenmariemoning.blogspot.com/
As she states on her blog, it tells you who the beast is, so if you don't want to know, stay away ; )
Ah, thanks for the warning, Amanda. I'm stayin' clear. I'll wait and read it once I have the whole book to dive into. :)
Regina wrote: "It was a painful read, but I am at peace with it now. :) Can't wait for the book."Zip it, you! I'm dying to go read it and find out, but I have always been a fan of denying gratification. Why else would I love UF so much? ;)
LOL! I need to learn that skill. I have spent every lunch hour this week stalking the BAM, Borders and B&N locations that surround my office. I know there are alot of people in Chicago, but I am starting to get funny looks from the clerks there.

They definitely remember the stalkers. Call me a snobby elitist, but there's a lot more readers in Chicago than farmville boondocks. I sometimes feel like I'm surrounded by morons. Oh wait, I am.
Lol!!!! I have passed Bourbanais on the highway alot when I lived in Champaign. I guess it makes sense to head on into Kankakee! I have to admit never passing through your town but it did make the Chicago Tribune years back about a murder if I remember correctly? My secretary just dropped something off and I tell you it is eerie she look exactly as Fiona in Fever is described. Always makes me feel the slouch.
But Laura thanks for giving me a huge laugh.
