Kenya Wright I was wondering what we will be reading for 2011. I've been such a lazy member of the group I'm unsure how we do it. Do we get to vote on possible books?
I'm interested in that new L.A. Banks series. Have we read that and is it any good?

Kenya Wright i think its the Crimson Moon series something like that. I'm no authority on LA Banks though I barely finished Minion.

I am a HUGE FAN of L. A. Banks. I read all of her books so far. Crimson Moon is a good one, although in my opinion she was not as invested in the characters as she was in Vampire Huntress Series. I think that the series (VH) gets better and better. I would buy the books before I finished the last one so I would not have to stop. Actually the newest series she has is the Neteru Academy series. This book involves the children of the Guardians. A little too Twilight for me, not enough action, but that is my taste.

☺~Tina~☺ (tina007) | 65 comments Michelle- fictionwise.com has it, you just have to see if it's compatible with the nook. I know I used it to download to my sony reader.

Also, if you have a blackberry, iphone or android you can download the kindle app to them and read from there.

Deva, I understand. For me a book and the story gets lost when the main characters go to high school. Hard for me to relate.

In the book Shadow Walker, Neteru Academy. This is about the children of Damali and Carlos and the entire Guardian team. They go off the High School and the book is centered around them. Just a litte to tame for my tastes. It is still a good read and, but not as much action as the Vampire Huntress Series books.

Kenya Wright Damali and Carlos have children? I should really read the second book and start getting into that series.

☺~Tina~☺ (tina007) | 65 comments Well darn, I'm only on the 3rd book (not read yet) of Vampire Huntress so now I know that Damali and Carlos work out. I figured Carlos would find a way.

Urban: That happens at the end of the last book in the series "The Thirteenth".

Tina: The twists that will happen will keep you in suspense and keep you intrested.

This is the best series on the planet!! You will not be disappointed. The merge of religion, natural, magic, history is amazing. L. A. Banks really did alot of research to do this series.
