Carrie (icanhasbooks) I was doing sorta good, by not going out to look for them myself, and only getting any if they were posted on GR but lately I can't help it.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Oh! I just got the Christmas Anthology by Karen Hall. I'm so bad. It is too hard to resist. Love to read shorts at Christmas.

I might get Happily Ever After by Tanya Anne Crosby - I never read her.

Jennings Wright | 3 comments Hey all - my Christian historical romance (Civil War) is going to be FREE this weekend (12/14-12/16) for Kindle, Friday-Sunday. It's rated 5* on Amazon - here's a review:

"I initially got this book because I really enjoyed what I have read of the author's other works, but I was not expecting this. I was completely swept away with this story! In the very best love stories, your heart almost physically aches for the characters, and at the end of it you just want to hug someone because you're so overwhelmed with love. That's what this book makes you feel. I started reading it in the morning, and I did not go to sleep until 4:30am because I just had to keep reading and find out what happened. (Thank goodness I was on vacation!)

This books shows what God's love is, and what the love between a husband a wife should be. It's seriously one of the best books I've ever read, and considering my bookshelf, that's saying something."

Merry Christmas!
Undaunted Love by Jennings Wright

Anyone else notice the big page number difference in between the ebook and the kindle? Kindle says 30 pages and ebook 384.

message 1394: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Type-o, you think? Should I change it, Carrie? Do you have the Kindle, so I can confirm?

I just got it for kindle as it's free. Mine doesn't have page count, at least I haven't figured out how to show page count on the app for pc. But it looks to only be small. My thoughts that it is a type-o on the ebook side.

message 1397: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments I looked this morning and it said prologue so I assumed it was short so didn't get it.

message 1398: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments Haha meant Prequel, i've been thinking that sound like the wrong word but couldn't think of the right one.

message 1399: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Hmmm...if it is a "prequel" it could be right.

However, I found several items on the Internet that say 200 location numbers on a Kindle are equivalent to 10 - 11 pages.

message 1400: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) Thanks Jenny.
