Hi-I am excited to chat with this group! Thanks for the invite. I am also in Weymouth. We have lived here for 6 years but are trying to sell our house and move to Scituate where I teach and my oldest son is attending kindergarten. Not fun trying to sell right now......anyway...looks like a lot of various books have been read by this group. Looking forward to discussing some!!

I'm new to MA--new enough that I'm still not sure about whether Brockton is considered "South Shore," but this group is the closest to where I am, so I thought I'd join and connect with some local book lovers. I'm an editorial assistant at a publisher in Boston, run an online book group that's just starting up, and am working on revising my first novel. Happy reading, everyone!

i love this website good reads. I did not realize how much I read since I've joined. I keep track of both my books and the books that my son reads in school. He loves telling me of all the books he likes reading, so I post the comments on good reads.
Hi, I live in Quincy. I've never been part of a book group so I'm not sure how discussions work. I've put the next book for discussion on hold at the library so when it comes in I'll read it and maybe I'll get up the nerves to come to the September meet!

We try to meet in the cafe, but if there are no available tables you will find us in one of the small seating areas. Just look for someone with the book "Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie". Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I live outside of DC, but am originally from Scituate, and also lived in Cohasset. My late mom was a librarian at Norwell Public Library for many years and both my parents indulged my love for reading. It's nice to read so many voices from the South Shore.

My wife and I moved from South Boston to Bridgewater about two years ago. We were members of a book club in Southie and hopefully can meet book folks closer to our new home. Glad to have found you all!

I work in the Brockton Public School system with special education and just recently lost my part time job at Borders. I will miss Borders more than I can put into words! Can't wait to meet you all!!
