Welcome to the Group
Hi Everyone,
I'm in Weymouth. I love the idea of a group of us from the same area. I look forward to hearing from you all!

I am excited to chat with this group! Thanks for the invite. I am also in Weymouth. We have lived here for 6 years but are trying to sell our house and move to Scituate where I teach and my oldest son is attending kindergarten. Not fun trying to sell right now......anyway...looks like a lot of various books have been read by this group. Looking forward to discussing some!!

I've just become active on Goodreads and I'm glad to see this group! I'm a columnist for Parent & Kids and I also write fiction. I live in Scituate.

Hi Donna! Welcome. Feel free to come to this week's meeting even if you haven't read the book at all. You can meet us and help pick the next book.

Sandra
Welcome to the new folks. Some of us do meet live about once a month. Others just chat/post online here.
All are welcome to come to our next meeting in December. We've been meeting for a few months now and are still pretty small but as Joanie said, the more the merrier!

Welcome Andrea! You are welcome to come to our next meeting in a couple of weeks even if you haven't finished the book.

You can either click on the Events link in the top right corner of the group's page or if you scroll down any events will show up lower on the group's page.

Hi, I live in Quincy. I've never been part of a book group so I'm not sure how discussions work. I've put the next book for discussion on hold at the library so when it comes in I'll read it and maybe I'll get up the nerves to come to the September meet!
Otherwise, I lurk. I'm quiet but I'm always on the lookout for a Good Read!

We have live meetings every month at the Borders in Braintree (Union Street). Our next meeting is this Sunday 06/27 at 1PM. We try to meet in the cafe, but if there are no available tables you will find us in one of the small seating areas. Just look for someone with the book "Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie". Hope to see you there.

Thanks!
Meghan, welcome. This group is indeed still active. Some of us meet once a month but we are going to be changing our meeting place since the old one is closing.

Thanks Jessica, I look forward to the next book you guys start.

I am Boston based but I have just released a new horror novel set in Hingham entitled Clinical Lycanthropy. I'll add it to the group's bookshelf Please give it a look and don't hesitate to drop me a line.
