"So, I guess we should go get this figured out, right?""
"Let's go," Matt nodded and stepped back so the girl could walk out of the room. "So are you having a good time so far?"

Lav Lalie Fompledump (Lavendarlol) wrote: "((Wait wait confused! When is the dance?))"
((Tomorrow.))
((Tomorrow.))
((Is that enough for us to make it tomorrow, or do we have to wait?))
((Mandy, do you mind? Megan, do you mind? Well... they aren't answering... so I think it's tomorrow. Everyone is now magically in their rooms getting ready for the dance. Yes, yes.))
((Can it be a techno dance party? That's what they had on my cruise and it was... mildly... inappropriate... so I left... but it was fun! I love techno dance parties!))
((It can be a good one. Like at my school. Or it could be a normal dance. Hehe. Either way works. But Matt's not allowed to dance either way. So this should be epically fun.))
Gina looked in the mirror just once before leaving for the dance. She didn't put on any make-up or bother to switch her glasses for contacts. Her hair was as messy as usual. The only thing different about her was the dress. The turquoise fabric fell just past her knees and was decorated with black lace here and there. It was pretty, but not excessively so.
She sighed and left for the main deck without another word.

((Question: Should I make Matt be pre-tornado Matt or post-tornado Matt? I can't decide and I really don't care. So someone decide for me.))

((Post-tornado.))
((Post-tornado.))
((Okey. That's actually probably the best because I don't know post tornado Matt yet and I need to develop that side of him. *shuts up the rambling*))
Matt rolled his eyes. His mom was making him go to some teen party so he could meet people. He'd rather just sit and watch the ocean and listen to music. But he didn't want her to start asking questions again, so he put on some sort of nice clothes and brushed his hair and walked to the dance.
When Gina found the main deck where the dance was, a few people were already there. She didn't recognize any of them. I guess that's okay, though, she realized. This would be much more awkward if I already knew these people.
Matt saw a girl walk onto the deck in a really pretty dress. It was a lot more modest than most of the girls there, and he couldn't help but respect her a little bit for that. Even though he could care less what any of them were wearing. I don't want to be here, he reminded himself.
((You said Matt can't dance, correct?))
((Nope. Not allowed to. Not sure if post-tornado Matt would disobey though. He hates his religion now... This is really fun. I can't believe I forgot to get to know this side of Matt. But now he has two voices in my head. Which is confusing. *shutting up again*))

((Hahaha. You don't need to shut up, Lav. =]))
((Woah. Wait. Scratch that. Soooo....Marie will be in her room after the last night MacDonalds thing.))Marie smiled at her mom. "No, I don't really want to go to the dance. I'd rather stay her with you and play Scrabble or something."
Mrs. Jack smiled back, but then turned firm. "You should met new people and not be a momma's girl."
"Momma's girl?" Marie laughed at how funny that sounded.
"Marie....go on. It'll be fun. You might meet some cute guys."
"Moooom." Marie shook her head. "I don't want to meet cute guys. I don't want to do anything."
Mrs Jack wrinkled her nose. The resemblance between her and Marie was striking. Almost exact. Except Marie had green eyes inherited from her father.
"Alright dear, but then you better find someone else to play Scrabble with because I'm kicking you out of this room unless you're going to that dance!" Mrs Jack beamed playfully.
Marie exaggerated an eye roll. "You wouldn't."
"Oh, wouldn't I? Shoo!" She batted her daughter to the door. "Go on now."
Marie looked defeated. "Okay. I'll go."
Josh was wandering around the ship trying to find something to do, when he stumbled on a gathering of people on the main deck. It was decorated all fancy and music was playing. It was some sort of dance or something. He shrugged and walked right to the middle of the room.
Marie changed clothes and applied a little makeup. Not much, she didn't like wearing it. She turned to her mom. "Well?" "You're beautiful!" Mrs Jack pretended a tear. "My baby girl, all grown up!"
Marie laughed. "Thanks, Mom. I love you."
Marie left the room after one more wave to her mom. "Let's see....where is the main deck?" She looked up and down the corridor.
Marie, after wandering around for ten minutes, spotted the main deck and entered the large room. Her walk exuded confidence, and not a girl you wanted to mess with. She smiled to no one in particular.
Lav Lalie Fompledump (Lavendarlol) wrote: "He walked over to her and smiled. "What's up?""((Which one?))
(Woah, what all did I miss? Were at a dance now, on the cruise? Is that right? Sorry, I just now got on. I've been at school and stuff.)
((Yeah. We decided it'd be a good way for everyone to get to meet.))
"Me too," Josh said. "Not the coolest... party ever."
"Me too," Josh said. "Not the coolest... party ever."
(Haha, alright. Thanks for giving me a catch up. Lol.)After figuring out the whole room situation, the next day Holli was in the bathroom. However, this time, she had on a short & strapless but beautiful pink dress that she had bought at one of the stores on the cruise. There was a dance tonight. And for once, although it was not Holli's style, she was excited.
She went over to the dresser and lifted up a brunette wig off a mannequin head. She wanted to look gorgeous which did not happen often for Holli. She went to the mirror and put on the wig. The wig had long brown hair with the most perfect curls. She fixed it a little and then started putting on lip gloss and slipping into some heels.
She might have been over doing it, but she didn't care. It was rare for Holli to find these moments of true happiness. She put her cellphone in her bra and some cash & key card. And left the room.
Holli finally found her way to the event. She flowed right by everyone else and saw that people were just standing around. Wtf, she thought.
"Oh, I know I can," Josh said, looking at the table where an iPod was set up to play low key music. He pulled his iPod out of his pocket, and looked at Catie, a question in his eyes.
