Marie jumped. "WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?"

Jason smiled, showing white teeth. "I was conjured up by a genie, and popped out of thin air in an effort to scare you." He said teasingly, "And it looks like I succeeded".
Josh had jumped behind Marie and was hiding behind her. "What the heck is your problem?'
--
Ryan shrugged. "I guess it depends on your concept of time."

((I have Matt who's currently not doing anything. He could meet her or something.))
Matt was sitting outside his cabin in the hallway. The hall was small enough, but the room was tiny. It was freaking him out.

Jason sighed. "I was kidding. I was actually just walking around on the dock and saw that creepy lady talking to a girl. When the girl went away, the lady opened up some sort of an entryway; and when you three went in, I was curious, so I decided to follow you." He shrugged. "And here I am." He looked at Marie, Josh, and Catie with his purple and gold eyes. "I'm sorry if I freaked you out though. I really wasn't expecting that kind of reaction."

"Clearly my concept of tiem includes two hours being too long to talk about favourite colours." Connelly smiled slightly. "I mean, really."

Jason sighed. "I was kiddin..."
Marie was still creeped out. Not by the startle, but by his unusual eyes. "Oh." She said slowly.
Jason turned his attention back to the obstacle in front of them, ignoring Marie's stare. "It would help if we had some light in here. Do any of you have a flashlight?" He asked.
Jason smiled gratefully. "That will work. Now we can find out what this confounded thing is, and figure out where that lady went".
Jason's eyes roamed the walls, looking for anything that could help them in their search.((Hey, just an idea... Do you want Catie to find out that it's actually a giant door, or there's a passageway on the side of the walls?))
"Well, it looks like all those logic puzzles have paid off." Jason said, smiling. "Good job Catie!" His voice echoed off the walls, reverberating down the corridor until at last it finally faded away. I wonder how far this tunnel goes...
Jason froze as he heard a girl's voice coming from far behind them. Turning, he tried to see who had made the greeting, but aside from the small light that issued from Catie's phone, all he could make out was the group he was with and darkness on either side of them."Did any of you know we were being followed?" He asked quietly. "Because apparently, we're about to add one more volunteer into the detective squad".
"I'm dead serious!" Marie cried out. "Josh and I found this passage, and came down here, and then you guys all magically appeared. What's your story?"

Charlotte wrote: ""I kinda walked into the wall. I'm tired," Alex moaned.""Sorry." Marie said with fake sympathy.
"Well," Jason began hesitantly, "we could investigate what's beyond the invisible door Catie opened, or sit here like bumps on logs".
Marie nodded at Catie. "Right." She felt around at the invisible door, trying to use her mind reading-ness to look beyond it. Either no people was there, or it just wasn't working. "Hmmph."
"Um, Catie already opened it." Jason pointed out. He walked past the point where the door would have been and stopped, turning around to face them. "See?"
Marie was taken aback and shocked for words. But only for a moment. "Woah." She said. "That's...weird." She walked past the point the door would have been. "Let's go, people."
"Wait for me," Josh said, pushing to the front of the group of people so he could stand by Marie.
--
"Well, if I'm boring you, I guess I could just leave," Ryan said, pouting a little bit. He turned as if to walk away.

Marie shrugged. "Ohkay. Sure. Keep up." She kept striding ahead, her long legs quickly gaining steps.
Josh followed her, staying a half step behind. In most horror movies the person in front died first. He didn't want to die first.
