Hi! I am Mikaela. I live in Sweden, and study Environmental Science. I read a lot, and buy too many e-books. Oh, and I spend way too much time at Mobile Reads.
Hi, My name is Laurel and I followed MrsJ over here. She's been my unofficial book pusher for some months now, not to mention an awesome friend!
I also live in the cold wastelands of the Canadian Prairies. I used to be a hard core epic fantasy buff, but I'm branching out into sci fi and urban fantasy. I think that pnr may be on the horizon. I'm 35, a science teacher to middle school students, and the proud mama of two amazing one year old pups!
No no no! I would have never tried Mercedes Lackey or Andre Norton without her! Not to mention my current urban fantasy kick is partly her doing...Stay, MrsJ ;)
Hi Mikaela & Laurel! Welcome to the group!

Is it safe yet?"
No safer than usual... ;-) I won't let them kick you out, even if you are a pusher.

(LOVE the moderator titles - they're awesome! =D)"
LOL I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice them. :-)

Hi desertblues, welcome to MR & GR, and Happy New Year!!You do not need to add a shelf to this group, but you can start a thread Here in the 2012 Individual Challenges section. We ask that you please put 2012 and your name/user name in the title.
Happy reading! :)

Thank You & You are very welcome. :)
Hi, I'm Suzanne, I'm 21 and I'm missimpossible on MR. I'm a law student from Scotland and I've just got my first ereader for Christmas. I'll use it mostly for reading out-of-copyright classics, and other heavy books, because I've only got little hands and have recently had a problem with them that's made it very sore to hold anything heavy. My targets this year will be in the challenges section, but my main hope is still to keep reading (despite the text-heavy degree) and to keep enjoying the written word. I'd also like to get to know some people on here to expand the opinions on literature which are available to me and the like! Cheers.
Welcome Suzie! Hope you enjoy our group!
Hello all, I'm Scott, 39, Living in Auckland New Zealand, Married to a wonderful woman, our 2 daughters (both under the age of 2) have pretty much put any of my other hobbies and interests on the back burner for a while.Fortunately my eReader allows me to read a few pages any time I get a couple of minutes peace. I used to read Fantasy books pretty much exclusively, with a healthy side interest in Travelogues. In the last few years I have made an effort to read genres and authors that I've not been exposed to much (or at all) in the past.
Anyway, thats me, and thanks to all who post on MR, and review here on GR, you've helped me choose an eReader, and have encouraged my TBR pile grow to an unwieldy size!
