message 12: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) So, what do you guys think of the Harry Potter movies?

message 13: by shwetha (new)

shwetha (silena) | 59 comments absolutly fabulous!!!!(except for th 5th part, it was disappointing)

message 14: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) The 5th part of what?

message 15: by shwetha (new)

shwetha (silena) | 59 comments harry potter.....you were asking us right??..(message 12)

message 16: by Thoo (new)

Thoo | 14 comments i loved them all, except for the 6th part, which was okay, through too heavy on romance for my taste

message 17: by Stephanie (last edited Jan 16, 2011 08:28AM) (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) Do you mean like the 5th and 6th movies guys?

message 18: by Thoo (new)

Thoo | 14 comments Yeah

message 19: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) Oh, okay. I've never heard anyone call them parts, sorry.

I've never read the 5th book, but I thought the movie was pretty good. I was disappointed with the 6th movies though, because I did read that one and man, they could've done SO much better.

message 20: by Sky (new)

Sky (clear_sky) | 40 comments amen. lol. I don't know, I agree with both of you guys. I mean, the sixth movie was okay, and at least kept mostly with the book, but it also could have been better. In my own opinion, the forth was the closest to the books. Except for the beginning, of course.

message 21: by shwetha (new)

shwetha (silena) | 59 comments thats kinda true...the goblet of fire was by far the best book turned movie in the HP series...

message 22: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) I thought the second one was the best. I can't remember any major differences between it and the book.

message 23: by Sky (new)

Sky (clear_sky) | 40 comments I thought both were extremely similar to the books, considering how long they were. *sigh* and then, the movies started to drift away from how the books went. *shakes head* It's a shame, really. :] haha

message 24: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) I think they did a spectacular job with the first four. I can't say much about the 5th. I was really disappointed with the 6th. And I'd call the 7th spectacular except for one scene, which kind of ruined it for me.

message 25: by Sky (new)

Sky (clear_sky) | 40 comments Which one? I saw a few that bothered me a little....but that's just me.

message 26: by Sky (last edited Jan 17, 2011 07:01PM) (new)

Sky (clear_sky) | 40 comments ...wait.....ooooohhhh, are you talking about that scene? The one that...*shivers*...ooooohhhhh. That one was super...odd.

message 27: by shwetha (new)

shwetha (silena) | 59 comments ok.....yu guyz are talking about the scene with harry and hermione in ron's vision right?????...if it was that one then i agree..it was out of place....i have deathly hallows in my usb and im watching right now again (5th time)

message 28: by Sky (new)

Sky (clear_sky) | 40 comments Hey everybody ((this is pretty random)), but I decided to change my name a little. Instead of Soccer, I changed it to Sky. Sky isn't my actual name, but it sounds cool. *shrugs*

Anyways, just thought I'd say something so you don't think some random person is posting or anything...Lol

message 29: by shwetha (new)

shwetha (silena) | 59 comments lol... before i checked this notification i really thought i was getting updates from a random person !!!!

I thought it was a reference to the Percy Jackson series, but I haven't finished the book yet so you might be talking about something else.

You can talk about anything here. Be as random as you want.

♫♥Selena♥♫ (wertyiu102) By the way, hi. I'm Selena. :3 I started PJO in fourth or fifth grade... Not quite sure. :3

Thor was REALLY good. I saw it with my friends. I liked the effects, but the storyline was lame. It was mostly romance, and the dad's TEAR brought him back to life. Seriously?
