SandyC (sandyc88) | 1287 comments Yz, best of luck on the move! That will be quite a change so I hope all goes well.

I have signed up for more yearly challenges. I have also signed up for challenges in other groups. Guess this means I have increased my challenges! I am trying to be more choosy about the books I read, though. You're right, the most important thing is to enjoy yourself, and if I'm struggling to finish a book, that is not fun at all!

Yz, I really appreciate all the work you do for this group (and others!). Thank you!

I, too, have many changes in life this year and so far it has been a whirl. I am doing more yearly challenges and no monthly. I like the challenges like Toy Story too:) I really like the varity of challenges offered here. Thanks to all of you for your creativity and hard work! Yz, I offer my best wishes to you as you make this life changing move.I'm sure your mom is thrilled to have you "home".
I'm looking forward to my first grandbaby next month and preparing for my youngest sons wedding in June,,,showers, showers, showers! Since it's winter we are at our winter home with lots of company. More audio books are in my future.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 350 comments Lory, I am sorry for your loss. I'm glad you had GRs to help you through. My father passed away several years ago, and books really helped me to get through that first week. I read about fifteen books that week alone.

Barb, congrats on your grandbaby.

Yz, good luck with the move.

Tania | 644 comments A bit of both, I've signed up for my first yearly challenge (200 books). But am only going to do the pick it for me challenges unless I get into a real "what do I read next" funk. But i've also committed myself to getting my ebooks all converted to epub and properly catalogued, writing reviews for all the books I read and spending less time surfing looking for new books and more time actually reading them. I also want to go through my paper library and give all but my most treasured books to lifeline.

*edit* oh, and I'll probably do the random book list challenges every now and then as well.

Michelle (michelle_mc) | 670 comments Yz, best of luck with the move! Hope everything goes to plan and you both get settled ok.

I had a hard year in my personal life last year and reading took a backseat for a long time. I'm easing myself back in. I had so many unfinished challenges last year that I may or may not have finished I just lost interest in them and gave up tracking them.
My plan for this year is to start slow. I'm doing A-Z Title & Author. The monthly challenge here and the one over on the Paranormal Romance group but I'm not stressing myself with them. I have also signed up for the Mega Challenge over on DHASG which will see me reading up to 79 books to complete it! I'm trying to overlap as many titles as possible and work with what I've got, if it means being a little creative here and there... so be it!

I'm 23/150 down for the year! January has been a good month for reading but with 3 kids I have learned not to take that for granted!

Shadow Jubilee (uhqs) I'm still a Challenge newbie and am currently participating in 2 challenges in this group, and a few more in another group. I try not to sign up for more though because I don't know how I will manage to juggle them all.

ൠSinful (sinful) | 20 comments YZ- I've been doing the PNR challenge for a while, well over a year.. maybe 18 months with you. Then I kept hearing about this group.. I finally made it over and this year have joined some new challenges. I'm excited. It's kinda fun to give the book choices some direction and I can't tell you how many great books I have found checking out other's challenge lists. When they have many books I enjoy and then a few new ones, odds are I will like it too.

Good Luck with your move you brave brave soul. I would make an awful expat.
