I live in Hawaii, on the island of O'ahu. Have been to Maine,Washington State, and San Francisco, and parts hither and yon, but Hawaii is my stomping ground and I love this place.

Southern Illinois: Sparta. About an hour Southeast of St. Louis, MO.Robin wrote: "Like Martha, I live in Central Illinois. Hillsboro, to be exact; halfway between Springfield, IL and St. Louis, MO -- but smack in the middle of farm country!"
My aunt and uncle live in Hillsboro, they own the Journal Newspaper.

Hillsboro is pretty close to me. I'm originally from Louisiana, but settled here in 1979.
Hi, I'm from a suburb of Chicago, Illinois! Although I was born in Chicago, most of my relatives are from and still live in the Philippines =)
Atlanta,Georgia. Love it but wish it was colder in the winter!!!
I'm from a tiny town in Germany so that's home. But I feel at home in London more than anywhere else..x
I live in Easton, Maryland but I grew up in Towson, Maryland, lived in Washington DC, Bangor Maine (Stephen King lived one block away from me), and Albion Michigan.I love being back in Maryland!

If you live in the Philadelphia area, we will be the featured guests at a Jane Austen tea on Sunday, 4/22. It is open to the public with an RSVP - you can find the RSVP form here - if the link is not "click on", just past it into your browser. http://janetility.com/?p=817
live in Michigan but was born and lived near Brighton, England til I was 18. I will always consider England my home
Soph wrote: "LONDON!! England!! Yay!! Im in Reading, like an hour from London!!! YAY!!!! <3"I am almost jealous that you live in England. I would love to visit and explore all those places in the UK that are in Jane Austen's novels. You lucky gal!
Thanks!! I love it here. And to make you even more jealous - I live about 20 mins away from Basildon Park which was Netherfield in the P&P 2005 and visit it often!!

I love my country too. America The Beautiful! If you are ever in America, be sure to visit Newport, Rhode Island and all the spectacular mansions of the Gilded Age. The Breakers, built by the Vanderbilt's is my favorite. You can see it here:

thanks :) i hope to visit someday...and if you ever visit England be sure to visit places such as Bath and Chawton for Austen links and visit some of the amazing houses which were used in the films - as well as other austen unrelated english beauties :)
My state (Oklahoma) is the most diverse state in the US - a little bit of almost everything. Definitely worth a visit :)If nothing else... people (not from southern US) seem to get a kick out of the way we talk ;D
I am in Sheboygan, WI. Right on Lake Michigan. I don't think that most people I know know how much of a Jane Austen freak I am either.
Princess Katie, the Random Hot Pink Minotaur wrote: "I live in Kansas, and no, I do not live on a farm, I do not live in the country, and there aren't tornadoes every other day. And I have never seen the Great Wizard of Oz. That movie really screwed ..."Next we'll find out that not everyone in California surfs! ;) I think the Beach Boys ruined it for them.
I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming...where we do have electricity, as you can see and no it's not 'the cowboys against the indians' anymore. ;)I am originally from Minnesota, though I have spent more time here. I miss Minnesota.
