1. The Secret Holocaust Diaries: The Untold Story of Nonna Bannister

Just read this one over New Years. Very moving story about being a young girl during WWII. The book tends to jump a little and back track but since it is a compilation of diary entries and then translated at a much later date, it is understandable. A must read:-)

2. The True Story of Hansel and Gretel

Finished this novel a few minutes ago. Loved it. Again another tug at your heart WWII novel. I read this book after reading many people's suggestions otherwise I had never heard of this book. I just love this site:-)
