New Challenge Counter

Has anyone noticed the new challenge counter? you can set the number of books you would like to read this year and goodreads will keep track of it for you!!

What do you think of this feature? I'm a little miffed because it clearly is not going to count the book I finished right before midnight on December 31st... but it is still neat!

The only struggle for me will be remembering to add the finish date, when I complete a book - whether I write a reveiw or not.

Don't feel all alone Erynn, it also didn't count the first book I read in 2011, but it's still a good idea.

I saw that as well, it is very cool. It did register the book I just completed in January, I'm glad about that. :)

When you finish a book click on review and there is a spot where it asks for the date you completed it, when you put the finish date in, it is counted by the counter.

Thank you Erynn! I got it to work, although it wouldn't let me use 1/1/2011- it changed it to 12/31/2010. Strange, but I just used 1/2 instead and it worked. :)

I wonder if this new little widget includes rereads? I'm guessing not because it shorted my stats for books read on 2010 by the number of books I probably did reread last year. C'mon! Rereads of vamp books ALWAYS count. They may even count as double.

No kidding, I would think that if you change the finish date, that it would count?
