Taleosfink, I just read the first chapter. Hmmm.... (that is a good hmmm indeed!) It left me wanting more, which is a good sign, no? I want to know why you're questioning not going on with this story? It could be absolutely awesome! And it probably will be. I love your writing style. It's almost mysterious, and the way the narrarater sees things is very interesting. I was just confused, though, is the narrarater (I can't spell tonight, sorry!) is a boy or a girl? But seriously, this is a book I would probably finish if I read just that first chapter.
ok so the first chapter is supposed to be completely insane and confusing.... thats wat i wanted to do and the narrarator (main character)is a boy

really? my dream is to outsell Christopher Paolini and to publish while I am fourteen, which means I have untill February 22nd, 2010 when I turn fifteen.
no thats just my really small dream! my real dream is to publish young and for many people to know my name
You realize that most publishers won't even look at you unless you have some sort of collage degree? I was talking to a writer about this; aparently Paolini only got popular because someone with the New Yorker read it as a favor and said his kids liked it.

Well, getting published is all about connections. I talked to this sixteen year old who got published (it's not popular, but still...) and it was a friend of his uncle's who was a writer so showed it to his publisher. Go to writer's conferences and meet people! Do research on what kind of publisher you want, and don't give up! At least, that was the advice I got. Not that I'm published, but I'm only 14 and I still have a life ahead of me. Plus I don't have anything that I want published right now. :)
there are plenty of younger people published like i know this one series about birds was written and was on the new york times bestselar list.and thanks for the advice everyone!

yeah well i know my writing isn't perfect, but i'm still trying to get stuff published. we all have to start somewhere...
yea swordbird! never read them though...... im still gonna try to get published wen i have finished too
i know that my writing won't be anywhere near perfect when I do try to get published... I just lack that confidence that anyone else would like my writing. :) The things I don't have finished yet are more promising. At least I'm getting better, no?

So this is a new story that i am writing with my friend. the story is based in modern day new york. There are a group of resurrectors (people who raise dead people's spirits and then place the spirit in another person's body so they will be able to control the person) these resurrectors have taken control of high government officials and police all over the world. No one notices. Other than three young teens.
Will they be able to save the world? or die?

Sam was going through the test, like everyone else who was 14. The test to see if you would be of the elite, or the lowly who clean up after the elite and take care of thier homes. All was going well until he meets a group of others who are of a secret society who are trying to take down the test. Now sam is stuck in an intricate web of deciet and lies that he can not escape from.......
