I only read like 36 books last year. But i did move to chile, that should leave me free from criticism. Good luck!

I've been reading the same book for about 3 months. The last book I read took me over a year to finish. This will be good motivation I hope to actually read more!
Andrea, this challenge totally made me read more. When i didn`t reach fifty i actually felt like I had let myself down. So this year I am on it.
I am in the middle of two books right now. That Bill Simmons book is a monster. Dunno if I'll hit 50 but hopefully I can at least clear out the backlog I have at home.How many books does 2666 count as? Because it's either 1, 3, or 5.
I'm working on two currently (not counting teacher books):1,000 Days of Wonder and the Willie Mays biography. both of which I started in early november. i slowed down the Mays book in lieu of books like "goodnight moon" and "moo, baa, la la la"... this is great movtivation; thanks evan!
I just finished Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and am now on to Everything's Illuminated! That's two! (And, thanks for the great suggestions, Evan.)
Yeah it is amazing how good of a motivation this challenge is.

since it takes me a while to read a book because work leaves me completely mentally and physically exhausted, i'm gonna post a few i finished at the end of last year as well. i will at least get to 10. i must get to 10......
ha! i just need someone to challenge me to do something an then IT'S ON!
I've got to say this challenge has been great for me so far. Last year, I read, oh.... 2 or 3 books? I'm starting my 6th now for 2011. My brain says "thanks".
