"Holding Val's hand, April slinked down the sidewalk, which was quite a trick in 6-inch high heels and taking sips of wine from her bottle. Behind her a tired, but weirdly glowing with flickering lights, cat followed morosely behind her. "Quite a wind! But then houses tend to fall down when I leave, one way or another." She grinned at Val. Val rolled her eyes. She started to retort, but remembered in time the pistol in April's purse. A bit tentatively, she asked "shoot anyone lately?" April, slurring slightly, said "Only that robber trying to grab Kitty," looking back at the grim cat. Val, suspicious, said, "Why did you ask me to meet you at that house? There's blood everywhere!" "Oh that. The CIA shot Biff accidentally. They were following the Chinese spy who was after the memory stick with the plans for the satellite laser. Fox grabbed the stick and I went out the window." Val stopped walking and slowly pulled her hand away"
-- turned out to be a "ridiculous" "riddle". What would Val do with the "risque" April and her "ribald" "ripostes"? Was crazy cat lady April telling the truth or had her secret past messed up her brain too much???

"Sporadic" heavy rain began to "sprinkle" on Scar Face's "special" "scotch" and the candy gun. The cat was starving and began chewing the gummy candy "gun". Instead of being black, the gun turned a pale "sporty" gray.

April wanted a rest because her head was feeling like a willow tree in a wind, so she sat down. Unfortunately, it was not on the bench. Val screamed, "Get off me!", thinking a Gila monster was in her lap trying to have its way with her and it was not a good thing. April, confused at Val's slaps, realized she was beginning to feel a bit wanton at the sudden S and M (she wasn't seeing good) began to whoop like a whippoorwill. T, shocked at the turn this tale was taking, said "No more whiskey for you!" Carmen, who perhaps feeling a little amazed by the scene she inadvertently contributed to with double trouble, offered "Wonton soup is available over there, I think". The vendor who was selling soup, cringed and began to pack up his cart.
