Anna, this is one of my favorites. I read it almost a year ago and still think about it all the time. I cannot wait for the next in the series to come out. Happy reading :)

I haven't read The Help yet either. I'm on vacation in California and every other woman I see is reading it. I finally gave in and requested it at my library but there are 11 holds ahead of me. I'm glad that you're enjoying it so much!

Hi Brittany thanks for the comment, I am loving it so far but unfortunately have been working loads so i am only about 40% through it :( cant wait to have a day just to sit and read it undisturbed!.. I think the author has paid particular attention to detail which i like especially things like putting in newspaper stories etc..

That is where i made a Grave mistake in buying the hardback copy just because I love the cover, but I now realise the neck ache i get from lugging it around really not worth it! lol..

So far I really like it too! Sadly I had to spark note the book for class, so I had to ruin the ending for myself, but Pip is great! Idk, something about lovesick men, makes such a great read!

Hi Rike, there is a link above your comments box to the right as you look at, with a link that says add book/author click that and then you can search your book from them and opt weather to just have a normal link or a cover link hope this is helpful

Thanks! I actually deleted my last comment because I didn't realize someone had already answered it for me, but thank you so much, I really appreciate it. Lol, can't believe I didn't even see the link...

I haven't read it either. It's not on the list of books I'm working my way through. Trying to work through the 1001 list before I start any "for fun" books, LOL

message 826: by Lisa (new)

Lisa James (sthwnd) I am a little over 120-130 pages into The Life of Pi, about halfway through The Satanic Verses, & have Cat's Eye & Lady Chatterley's Lover waiting in the wings :)

message 827: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (drseuss) | 2 comments Right now I am trying to knock out my summer reading book so I can move on to more interesting books. My summer reading book is Quo Vadis and it isn't terrible for a summer reading book but it only got interesting about halfway through the book. :P

message 828: by Bronwyn (new)

Bronwyn (shadowcats) | 3 comments This year my goal is to read all of Elizabeth Peter's Amelia Peabody series. I'm on #17. I have enjoyed all of them. It has been fun to watch the characters through the years of the novels. Each story has a neat mystery and the physical descriptions are great. Egyptology is fascinating and there is enough information to make you want to google a bit. With all that is happening now in that area of the world it is interesting to look in on it at an earlier and very different time.

The last one I read was 16. Loved every one of them but I can only read 2 or 3 running and then I have to read something else. Enjoy 17 and 18 when you get to it!

message 830: by Cammie (new)

Cammie I'm reading The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand and Radiance (Riley Bloom, #1) by Alyson Noel

message 831: by Louise (new)

Louise I'm reading A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan. The blurb honestly didn't appeal to me and although it seemed to be everywhere and recommended by everyone and I still didn't feel for it. But then I read the first page in a bookshop one day and it had me! Fingers crossed it's worth the various pages of hype!

Cheryl Landmark (clandmark) | 375 comments I just finished reading God Stalk and now I'm starting Guardian of the Gate.

message 833: by Hayley (new)

Hayley Stewart (haybop) I'm currently reading The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest - Stieg Larsson. I was introduced to The Millenium Trilogy by my sister and I've got to say that they are definite page turners, I've had to force myself to put the books down just so I can get some sleep or make dinner or something (have done cooking with the book in the kitchen though). It's just upsetting to know that there'll never be anymore of his books :(

I have that book Helen and keep hearing wonderful things about it but for some reason grab other books first. I've got to pull it out and make sure I read it.
