I wasn't going to watch it either since it tends to take up too much time that I need for going to the gym, reading, cleaning, etc. I made the mistake of watching the first episode and I was hooked! Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez changed the vibe and I feel like it is much more inline with the original idea for the show. I also like how they are focusing on helping these young people find their inner artist. It's just great!!!

LilMisGrayBrisk Thanks Joy. I just might if I can keep up the way I'm reading. With American Idol and Dancing with the Stars finishing, I'll have more time to read :)

My big hang up is the computer...always on this thing and not reading, then I get frustrated at myself for not reading....=( I have even tried to limit myself to only going online 2 times a week, but that didn't work either! =( I'm hopelessly addicted!!

message 95: by LilMisGrayBrisk (new)

LilMisGrayBrisk I'm a computer addict too. I like to play games from Big Fish Games. It's definitely hard sometimes to break away from the computer, but I've done a better job at it this year than in the last few years.

I used to play World of Warcraft and that ate up a LOT of time . . . though it was at least more fun than Farmville, which I was hooked on for longer than I care to admit. Now that I've quit both of those, I have a lot more time to be productive. Even so, I'm sure I spend at least a few hours a day at the computer, keeping up on various websites (mostly this, FB, and SparkPeople). It is really hard to walk away!

Facebook just sucks me in but only in spurts. I'll be on their daily for a week and then go on for a month or so. I would hate to know how much time I spend on that. In all honestly I used it to keep in touch with family and friends so I don't really consider it a total waste of time.

I'm on facebook, but I rarely go on it for anything. Texting or calling me is the best way to get a hold of me, lol.
