Okay, here's the moment I'm sure you've all been waiting for - the top 10 lists for 2010! Here's my list of my favorite horror books for last year, for the most part in no particular order (although I've ordered them reverse numerically for dramatic effect - and I did pick a #1!). Also, I am just doing the books I read in 2010, not those actually published in 2010. Okay, here it is:

10. THE DEVIL NEXT DOOR by Tim Curran
9. THE RESURRECTIONIST by Wrath James White
8. THE SLIME BEAST by Guy N. Smith
7. THE DEAD PARADE by James Roy Daley
6. RAVENOUS by Ray Garton
5. SAVAGE by Richard Laymon
4. THE 13th by John Everson
3. GHOUL by Brian Keene
2. SCISSORS by Ray Garton

And the #1 book I read all of last year is...

1. PRESSURE by Jeff Strand

Also, since I was just listing horror books for this list (that's pretty much all I read anyway), I wanted to throw in a few honorable mentions of non-horror books: THIEF RIVER FALLS RUN by David Robbins (the 2nd book in the ENDWORLD series - this seems like a fun series and I'm sad to see it apparently ending from Leisure), and GRIFTER'S GAME by Lawrence Block (this is the first Hard Case Crime book I've read, and I will definitely read more - I thought this was a great one!).

Okay, all of these books have the Bloodman seal of approval, so you are definitely safe to check them out!

Anyone else have any top 10 lists to share with us? It's a great way to learn about new books, so bring them on! And it's always fun to make lists!!!

Definitely! It was the first book of yours that I read, and I really enjoyed it! I've picked up a couple others of yours since (The Coven and Siren), and I am really looking forward to reading them in the new year!
