The Night Circus by Erin MorgensternHighly recommended - I loved this book. I'm already on the waiting list at the library for the audio version for a re-read. The audio is read by Jim Dale.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern is getting so much attention! I got a little card at Starbucks that says it a free e-read d/l so I'll have to check it out.

I think it might be an excerpt but it will likely tempt you to read the whole book if it is.

Dear Mr. Holmes: Seven Holmes on the Range Mysteries by Steve HockensmithA thoroughly fun collection of short stories. A pair of brothers in The American West of the 1880's read and get inspired by Sherlock Holmes stories. Their adventures in 'deducifying' are just a lot of fun to read.

Scar Tissue: Seven Stories of Love and Wounds by Marcus SakeyThis collection of seven stories was varied and interesting. I enjoyed the background to each story that Sakey included. I definitely recommend this to readers who are already his fans as well as folks who haven’t read his book yet. For that second group, the collection includes excerpts from several of his novels.
Suzi, I really liked your review of The Night Strangers by Chris Bohjalian. I can't wait to read this one :)
