Spirit walked along the edge of the forest, looking into the plain, she was trying to figure out the best way to corner the caribou. It had been about a moon since the pack had been beat and kicked out of their territory, their lucky they found this place or they would have starved. 'The best chance we have is to herd them towards the forest while still having a group at the edge of the forest, ready to strike.' content with her strategy she walked towards the dens to tell the alpha.
Eclipse slowly walked up to the small rocks, knowing there was another wolf there. She leaned in and sniffed the rocks, then quickly drew back if the wolf/dog decided to bite.
Eclipse was a bit surprised and growled, but once she saw it was Frostfur, she eased up and sat back on her haunches. "Hello Frostfur, I smell a dog in these rocks." She growled, looking at the rocks.
Frostfur looked at the rocks for a moment sniffed the air, then said, "It's a loner. I don't recognize her smell. Let's check it out." She crouched and began crawling across the forest floor, humming the Mission Impossible theme song.
(Wait I thought you were a loner? So that doesn't mean you have your own territory... well at least your half husky which still makes you have the blood of dog still in you. A wolf/husky vs two wolves??? It's a pretty unevened don't you think?)
(no wait! if you're not in my territory, go to the discussion that say "outside territory". otherwise, you ARE in wraith's territory)
(you can roleplay with her character. most ppl are never on, so i guess it's okay. or you just do stuff without her)
Frostfur rolled her eyes whenshe saw the other wolf's hesitance. "Fine, I'll go myself," she said, and quickly jumped over the rocks and pounced on the loner.
(I was gonna go for Sam, Katie! DX O well too late I guess..) Eclipse was ready to spring at the loner if it dared tried to harm Frostfur.
"This is your territory?" Frostfur asked. "Sorry, I didn't realize." She looked over and saw Wraith. "Hi, Wraith! This is Sam!"
"She does that to me a lot," Frostfur whispered to Sam, "which I personally don't get. I mean, if a wolf can't smile, then they certainly shouldn't be able to scowl, don't you think?"
"Alright, alright, I'm coming." Frostfur nodded her head at Sam. "Bye!" she said, crossing the line. She walked towards Wraith. "What's for dinner? I'm hungry!"
(i feel like such a bully...)
Wraith's eyes glinted. "If you are hungry, perhaps you would consider hunting?"
Wraith's eyes glinted. "If you are hungry, perhaps you would consider hunting?"
Frostfur's eyes lit up. "That's a good idea!" she said, "You know, that's why you're the alpha. You're so logical!"
Wraith sighed. "Foolish pup," she muttered. "Too good for a rabbit, eh? She'll never bring down a caribou by herself."
Wraith padded off into the trees, nose lifted to catch the scent of prey. Instead, she caught the scent of another wolf. Hackles raised, the alpha prowled forward, following the scent.
Wraith saw a juvenile wolf peeking out of the undergrowth. Her tail lifted instantly. "Who are you?" she challenged.
Wraith lowered her tail, seeing that this wolf was no threat. "What are you doing on my territory?" she growled.
"What a pathetic excuse for a mother," Wraith muttered. "Well, where is the alpha of your pack? You're too young to have left the pack in search of a mate."
