Wow I started editing the first few chapters I wrote last year, and what a change of writing. I can see where I've gotten better. There's a lot I need to fix...

Funny Alain said much the same thing this morning. Its almost certain now that we won't be in the house for Christmas, We can't pin the electrician down, nor the plasterer the plumber has done his bit before the inner walls go in. I'm afraid Alain will take it personally that it's his fault and get depressed, what with his brother dying and then mothers dog and his sister has finished her chemotherapy and now we have to wait and see if they got it in time...

It was hot here Saturday in the high 30's to hot for me!

I penned the first page of an idea, my version of 'mummy porn' I'm looking for ideas for titles it's about two fifty something women who are determined to grow old disgracefully! And yes the hot tub scene will be in there, and yes I have lots of others I decided to make a new genre called 'mammy porn'. I thought about 'Growing Old Disgracefully'or 'Mammy Power' or Use It or Lose It, The Other Side of Me, The Tale of Granny Cassie, Fifty Pence a Blow, Granny Likes it Hot, or Granny Whiplash!
Can you girls come up with anything to rival those?

And there is already a song written and performed by Al Stewart called Helen and Cassandra! Gobsmacked, I was! It's like someone else named my characters for me purposely!

I would love to read it but I'm rubbish at grammar so I'm not sure if I would be any use on the proofreading... Any news on the TBL in ebook?
I will attempt to do a quick story for the anthology and I can always do a few more poems.

It was in my inbox today. I've printed it off and I will go throught the revisions she advised and drop the hatchet where requested. This was one of the first pieces I wrote back in 2010 and like you yourself noticed with your own style changing mine has changed dramatically since I first wrote it.
She said it was up to me if I implemented the changes but I know if she says it has to go then go it will - it's no use having an editor and then disregarding their advice however hard the critism. It will pay dividends later!

How was your weekend?
The kids had a whole packet of raisins on saturday and we couldn't do anything on sunday... typical. It's getting too hot here again, I'm still surprised of people going to the beach in september it should be getting cold now!
