They work, there's nothing worse than waking up to the sound of zzzzzzrrrr and then silence, cos you know the silence means she's bitten you!

Of course we missed you, why do you think I spent so much time on Twitter! Yep and most of them have followed me first, I found this tool that helps you unfollow all the people that don't follow back. Paul is still on Twitter, but he doesn't seem to want to reply I tweeted him but he didn't come back to me. I don't think he's writing now, he seems to have a health issue maybe that's kept him offline?
Oh dear that does not sound too good. I think I want to murder the temp. If I write do not change my templates in bold and underlined, why did she change all the font? She is so incompetent - ARRGGGHHHHHHH
Darkangel wrote: "Wow good for you. Turkey was scorching and was a lovely rest. I have not been on twitter for ages, I will possibly pop on a little later. So I have a chapter to read - cool ;P"YEP! Just the one, I thought when Sophie went back to school I would be able to start writing, apparently not! One day school today being Wednesday no school plus I gained a child again and the two of them had better not be messing up her room or I will kill the pair of them!
Sarah wrote: "Darkangel wrote: "Wow good for you. Turkey was scorching and was a lovely rest. I have not been on twitter for ages, I will possibly pop on a little later. So I have a chapter to read - cool ;P"..."why no school?

I am trying to make Sophie speak English today all day, I know she can understand me because she's translating for her friend! Infuriating! They are going to London with school next year, I don't have the dates yet though. Sophie will be very popular in London with her French friends I think!
Darkangel wrote: "LOL, I am sure there will be a little mess ;o)"Eva wrote: "Hey sarah, did you get any answer from Emme? By the way Sharon, we have an editor! woop woop!"
Yes, she said she has a final exam this week but will try to get back to me by Friday. And the primary school and infants only have 4 days school per week from 8.45 to 4.15 each day, next year it will be 8.00 till 5.00 every day except Wednesday which is 8.00 till midday!
@ Darkangel There had better not be, 8 hours it took me whip in hand to get Sophie to get it semi straight!
Darkangel wrote: "How cool is that. Tell I work in London and I will be watching her - LOL"She knows you work in London, when I know the dates and their itinary I will let you know. Her teacher is really nice, he speaks good English (Gwynael) married with 2 children.
Darkangel wrote: "What a little terror she is."Big terror, her new shoes fit me! Her clothes fit Joanne, the shoes are too big! Her mouth has grown too! In smartness, always has to have the last word, infuriating! Our last dog was like that, she used to grumble if you told her off! Eclair just hides under the sofa!

Lucky her, unlucky you! Here kids go from 9 until 12:20 then they go back at 3 and finish at 4:20. Seems pointless to me that long a luch break and have to take them back in but...better than forking out 200 euros for lunches

200 Euros! That's a bit steep is that for the year?
Here they have an hour and fifteen minutes for lunch Sophie goes to her friends for lunch unless her mum's working and then I fetch her and her friend for lunch here which means I have to cook twice as Alain gets here at 1.45!
Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Darkangel wrote: "LOL, I am sure there will be a little mess ;o)"Eva wrote: "Hey sarah, did you get any answer from Emme? By the way Sharon, we have an editor! woop woop..."
Thats a month! just over a hundred euros per child a month...Now with the cuts you can't get help either so hardly worth me working! Between that and after school clubs, it's a bloody fortune!

Hells bells that's expensive! Here school meals are under 3 euros per day, according to Sophie they are awful which is why she goes to her friends.
I'm making couscous today for lunch!
I have left over chinese from yesterday - Monst said it was too cruel to make me cook on the first day back ;o)
Darkangel wrote: "I have left over chinese from yesterday - Monst said it was too cruel to make me cook on the first day back ;o)"Ahh... That's nice of him! How was Renee in Turkey? Did you and Monst manage any time alone?
She was OK, but becoming a selfish diva who needs a slap. No alone time at all. Thank god she went home at 12pm yesterday, I had had enough of her.
Darkangel wrote: "She was OK, but becoming a selfish diva who needs a slap. No alone time at all. Thank god she went home at 12pm yesterday, I had had enough of her."Then slap her! Sophie gets knocked back if she goes over the line, my weapon of choice is my tongue and the force at which I roar at her. She's a sensitive little soul who hates me to shout at her, Jo was the same very rarely did I need to smack her.
I had a sentence that put the fear of god into her. I would bend down and quietly say "Would you like red legs?" That was all I had to do! The first time I smacked her legs hard, because she said yes! She didn't say it again!
I think I said something similar to my mum once. I can't hit her because she is not mine or I would have done a long time ago. She is the type who has never been slapped for being naughty. Yes Eva, she is my step daughter.
how old is she? becuas eif she stayys with you can put guidelines in you house. Whatever you do, don't turn into the evil step mother, I hate my one for that reason and I'm an adult now!
Well, if she is in your house she has to go with your rules, if she doesnt you can punish her, send her somewhere (not her room, i don't that a punishment)no tv, or whatever until she gets used to not being a diva in ur house. I know her dad wont do much to help in that department. Just make sure ahe knows the rules, after all it's ur house and you wouldn't allow your neices or nephews to do that.right?
It's a shame that the mum and dad are not doing anything about it, she'll be worst in 3 years time.ON a brighter note, make sure you vote on the title poll so Ella can get started with the cover. have you read how Emme wants everythig sent to her?
Darkangel wrote: "I know, but I don't want the hassel from the mother. It just is not worth it."I agree with Eva, hun, she should be told by her father that she has to abide by your rules when she is with you. I know Monst doesn't want to be the baddie but it shouldn't be down to you to discipline her, that's his job. She'll thank him for it in years to come for being stricter, she'll kick against it for a while, but evenutally she'll come round.
I would have a talk with Monst, tell him how you feel ask him to talk to her, you aren't her slave. Hey we've all been her age, what were you allowed to get away with? How did your parents deal with you?
I would try the reward system good behaviour gets you points bad behaviour you take away these points at the end of the month go through the points with her and explain the benefits of being civil, if she wants to be treated like a grown up she has to learn how to behave first!
I've seen why it doesnt let you vote, becuase it says that the poll finished on the 31st, I'm sure if you tell Ella she'll be able to count it. Emme wants to do the first round of editing from friday. Lets get the ball rolling!!!

Eva wrote: "I've seen why it doesnt let you vote, becuase it says that the poll finished on the 31st, I'm sure if you tell Ella she'll be able to count it. Emme wants to do the first round of editing from frid..."@ Darkangel, I cheated slightly I adapted something I wrote 2 years ago and that I had never used. Emme has mine to start on,it will give the rest of you time to sort yourselves out. Has anyone heard from ShazzyLouLou? She's been conspicuous by her absence this past couple of weeks, probably up to her eyes in work on the house. Has anyone tried the Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe yet, every time I get the chicken and the ingredients together I end up using the chicken for something else!
Well I have two poems put up in the group, I can work on something else as well maybe over the weekend, give me a chance to get back in to work.
Darkangel wrote: "Blimey, that is quick, can we still add more after that date?"Are you planning on using the Skye story? Cause if you are I will finish going through it for you.
I suppose it will be ok as long as everything is handed in for the last time on the 30th. I think it's so you have time to fix thigs because after the 30th it has to be perfect.so we can send it to barnados

I know how hard it is to find recipes that don't cost an arm and a leg in ingredients that little ones will eat!
My Couscous for the girls I sometimes just use the Merguez and occasionally chicken thighs like today. I use lamb ribs when they are on offer, and lean, sophie won't eat any meat with fat on! I cheat too, I buy a bag of frozen couscous veg and boil in the bag couscous, add a tin of tomatoes, a sprinkle of cajun herbs and spices and a teaspoon of paprika. stick it all in a casserole (cast iron) and cook it on the stove for about an hour keeping a watchful eye on the liquid just before I serve it I add two heaped tspns of tomato concentrate the thick stuff in tins!
Darkangel wrote: "Morning all,1 tape down and 1 to go. Slowly catching up on my work (very slowly)."
Morning,
I got woken up last night by an amourous fox screeching outside my window for its mate! I thought someone was being murdered! Just as I was dropping off to sleep comes back tonight it's getting buckshot up its ass!
Oh dear, that is not good.I have had 2 coffees and now I am on an energy drink. Still don't think that will be enough to give me the energy to get through the rest of the day. Maybe I need chocolate ;o)

What a good idea, I have just finished a large expresso albeit decaff and I'm not feeling all that chipper! 4 hours sleep instead of 6 or 7 doesn't help matters either. Poor Sophie she now leaves the house at 7.30 to start school at 8.45 because the taxi has to make so many journeys next year it will be worse they start school at 8.00 and will leave the house at just after 7.00! Long day that, 7.00 until 5.15 ish like being at work!
