It's dry here for now! That's just for Saturday night but there will be at least 12 of us! Though Hugo won't be eating many hot dogs I don't think!

Something very wrong with that, I thought you ate pork?

message 3957: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I eat pork, just can't get round the sausages fact.

Why? All that is in our sausages are meat and herbs and spices, French sausage is coarse ground and by law must contain 80% meat!

That pearler of a phrase was told to my late husband when he delivered the evening meal to the lake - I used to supply the fisherman with hot, home cooked breakfast rolls and evening meals. Man to my husband, 'corr blimey mate you are one lucky sod, to have a wife who can cook, mine could burn water. Though she swallows well!' What can you say to something like that!

message 3969: by Sharon (new)

Well done if you have time you could read it through, then if you see something that isn't quite right you can fix it before the deadline.

message 3978: by Sharon (new)

Good for you, don't forget to run the whole thing through the spell check at the end, to be certain.

message 3980: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Darkangel wrote: "What will you be making for him?"

Well I was going to make him a Ferrero rocher pyramid cake, but I can't find a single Ferrero Rocher! I need loads! So I might make him the sandcastle cake in chocolate with chocolate sea shells them I can get in lidl or a treasure chest!

message 3981: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I like the sound of the treasure chest. Please take pics for me to see when I get back ;o)

God its hot, it goes from one extreme to the other here today its 30 degrees plus and climbing! I am going to make the treasure chest I have some chocolate money and m and m's and some of those sugar necklaces and a pack of celebrations and other foil wrapped chocolates to go inside and around the base. They hadn't got any sea shells so that went out the window straight away! I am going to try a white chocolate frosting for the inside and a dark chocolate frosting for the outside of the chest! Not the classy cake I had in mind but I live in France!

I'll make that for the top tier of our wedding cake, which is being pencilled in for 19th August 2014! This is Alain doing all the talking about it not me, and I'll believe it when he books the Mairie!

Bugger that also means i will have to go on a diet!

message 3984: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - A wedding on his birthday - how lovely.

It is very hot here too actually cooler in our office today. My hand over is practically done, lets see how much mistakes I come back to ;o)

He always said he wouldn't marry until he was 50 like his big brother, and in August 2014 he will be 50, like I said I'll start believing it when he books the Mairie, he'll probably find he's scuppered because the Mayor is on his jollies!

message 3986: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Then he will have to marry you a month after ;o)

message 3987: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments We'll see, well have a lovely holiday don't forget put plenty of anti rust cream on and don' sit out in the sun too long or you'll end up looking like a fried lobster. Sorry I haven't managed to finish 33 I started with good intentions and then got Alain barking orders at me, hopefully you will have a couple of chapters awaiting your return.

That's the 2nd pate beeping at me which should mean its done! Ovens been on 5 hours in this heat! him and his bloody pate!

Absolutely nothing, its been as quiet as the grave here!

Lol I need to paint my living room and kitchen, the soot from the log fire has marked the wall and it's 4 years since it was done. I have all Sophie's stuff for school, once a year I get a Brucie bonus when 3 of my pensions pay out the thirteenth month and all at different times of the year!

All that Sophie needs are new trainers and a couple of jumpers. I am going through the manuscript now and scalping it! Checking for errors and low flying commas!

Yes I sent it about 10 minutes ago, to the SBPRA Literary and Rights Agency, they have lists of publishers looking for new authors, I have dealt with them before with TBL but that time I decided not to go with them, I might have been better off if I had, who knows, I will see what happens this time, it costs nothing to try and they are for real!

No I think I am immune now, the first time I watched the mailbox every day for 7 weeks!

I think we are all having problems with notifications Eva, not a problem. The answer will be yes, to Indie publish, what I am keeping my fingers crossed for is that someone is interested enough to pay me this time!

Eva King | 1071 comments If you need a cover artist Ella from the anthology group, she is quite good at it, and at the moment she is doing them for free.
