Yep it's a toss up which of us is further away! He's just left still whinging because the information he was given about connecting the electricity was false. Like, hello, that must be my fault?
So I went online and did a comparison of suppliers of electricity and came up with the same supplier I use, Direct Engergy works out almost 50Euros cheaper a year! Whoohoo a whole 1 Euros per week! I gave him the telephone number and told him to speak to them!
I got my buttermilk too so now I can make KFC at home, I'm not a particular fan but hell it will make a change from roast chicken on odd occasions!
I love KFC chicken. Me and Monst had that last Friday for dinner - I was not in the mood to cook - lol
Darkangel wrote: "I love KFC chicken. Me and Monst had that last Friday for dinner - I was not in the mood to cook - lol"If you scroll back through you should find the recipe for home made KFC, all you need to do is marinade the chicken in buttermilk and mix the dry ingredients together and then coat and cook. Simple!
I saw it and printed it off. ;o) Cheeky I know - LOLFiona (sitting next to me) just bought me a ticket to see the show Wicked, but made me open it today in case I had plans for Tuesday Evening - LOL

Don't be daft I put it up for anyone to try, I just aimed it at Shazzyloulou because Simon was sulking and I know what that's like!LOL
Darkangel wrote: "All men are the same - lol"Don't I know it! Chris and his wife are going to Normandy with his half sister and her toy boy and kids and his dad and his partner! Lol he asked if we were going down too! I said thanks but no thanks, I spent enough miserable holidays with my ex and I don't need to relive the experience! Chris says he's changed, got older that's for sure 74 this October, (my grave robbing stage)!
You can imagine how he must have felt when he found I'd gone in the opposite direction and got myself a toy boy!
Darkangel wrote: "Don't suppose it did much good for his ego - LOL"Lol no especially when Alain told Sophie to go with Pappy Ted to wash her hands which were covered in chocolate! As in Granddad!
Men! Alain just came back from the dentist tooth out bear with a sore head syndrome couldn't find his carte vitale. Once again everything is my fault he had a right go at me, don't worry I gave as good as I got!
Darkangel wrote: "Good for you. i am off to get dressed. going out for dinner with the girls at work. :-P"You have a good time, and no dancing on the tables!
Morning all,Diet is out of the window for today and tomorrow, have a nice bacon and egg sarnie, and dounuts for dessert ;o)

A bit of what you fancy does you good! Alain apologised for his behaviour last night, guess he realised how thin the ice he was skating on actually was!
Or maybe a wide mouth frog called Sophie told him!
Darkangel wrote: "Sophie does not hold back. Good for her."She will stop at nothing to get what she wants, which is a new dad with all the paperwork that goes with it.
President of the Republic in 25 years time you see! Bp is normal today strange that, mind I have abstained from the demon drink for three days, not a drop has passed my lips!
Eva wrote: "No I havent, been pretty busy this week, Ill have a look. Is it good?"Not sure, not tried it yet I was rescuing Shazzyloulou from the doghouse with her hubby! Their local KFC closed down and she didn't realise and promised Simon KFC in exchange for kitchen shopping!
Can't let a fellow Brit take the flak like that not when you are in possession of a recipe to rival KFC!
Morning Eva,I am feeling a little on the tired side at the moment, thankfully leaving work at 2 today - YAY does the snoopy happy dance ;o)

What time did you finish partying last night?
I downloaded 2 other new books by Stephanie Bond Our Husband and Three Wishes comedy romance/chick lit for 99p each from Amazon. They look quite funny!
I'm so exited, my mum has given me my early christmas present, she has paid for the TEFL so I can teach english! I've wanting to do it for ages but never been able to spent the 300quid for the course. Can't wait for the kids to go back to school so i can get cracking...

Wow, now that's what I call a useful Christmas present, lol though rather you than me with a classroom full of kids!
Buttermilk in French is lait ribault, or lait fermente if that helps, I know sometimes the words are very similar in Spanish!

did you get caught up with the Olympic traffic?
My mum has always given useful things, no slippers or pyjamas unless they are needed.I am a nursery nurse so the room full of kids doesn't bother me. Is just that to work here i would need to convalidate my studies, which is a hassle. I kind of wish i could go bac to uni to I could be a propper english teacher but that we'll have to wait until my kids are older and I rich so i can pay for the open university.
Ps: leche fermentada, thanks

That's okay I thought it might be similar, they say once you master French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese follow quite easily. We'll see, next year Sophie will be starting Spanish and I am going to learn with her!
How old are your children?
Eva wrote: "Stuart is 5 and emily is 2. so pretty hard work"Yep, I remember. Do your two fight like cat and dog?
Mine did with the same age difference! Lol still do if they get together even at 35 and 32!
Eva wrote: "yes all the time, have to separate them but then again they dont want to have their own rooms."Yes, Jo and Chris were a bit like that, he was always very protective of her even though they fought! Mostly because Jo would mess his room up and he hated that!
@ DarkangelJust had a call from Mrs Robinson, now she's hooked herself up to a black man! Can't keep a good tart down! She's coming back to her house next weekend with him lol that should put the cat amongst the pigeons chez Pascal!
OH DEAR - LOL@Eva, I went out for dinner last night and going out for lunch with my partner tomorrow.
Had no trouble with the olympic rush with travel, it just takes me so long in the evening, once I miss one train (like I did last night) it is a 30-40 minute wait for the next one.

Darkangel wrote: "I will have a butchers and maybe it will be a holiday book to read ;o) I have been uploading quite a few."It will make you smile the other one also, I have just finished lunch preparations, paella today it is just finishing soaking up the last of the fish stock and then into the oven to dry a little. read that as waiting for Alain!
Darkangel wrote: "I am now drinking Jack Daniels. They have thrown a little party in the office ;o)"No dancing on the desks! Have a nice weekend and HAPPY BIRTHDAY For tomorrow! I prefer Southern Comfort! with lots of ice.
Darkangel wrote: "Morning all."Morning
How was your birthday? Did the birthday bunny bring you lots of nice pressies?
I had a present, someone gave me a cold! This was nice of them as it's gone to my sinuses and I feel like someone smacked me in the face!
