Darkangel wrote: "Yes I know what you mean. Honesty is the best policy. :o)"Though... if you think it's complete rubbish, maybe you could find a nicer way of saying it?!! ;-)
I certainly would not be so harsh like that other person was. I can not believe they used a word like wretched. That is so wrong.
LOL! I think I may be feeling a bit loopy - I've gone from thinking he's an arsehole to thinking the whole thing is actually quite funny!
Very true and has not grasped the concept of paranormal romance etc. Probably reads books like Sharpe! LOL
Darkangel wrote: "Very true and has not grasped the concept of paranormal romance etc. Probably reads books like Sharpe! LOL"MMMM Sean Bean.........
Mmm mm! Not that I would say no to Johnny Depp or Jon Bon Jovi either - when you're done with them of course!Sean Bean as a vamp. Iiiiiiinteresting!
OMG Sharon - I am not lying but your SB is in the hospital where I work. Fiona next to me has just seen him.
Darkangel wrote: "OMG Sharon - I am not lying but your SB is in the hospital where I work. Fiona next to me has just seen him."Not in the flesh! Omigod Sean Bean in the flesh, sighs dreamily. The last time I saw Sean Bean in the flesh it was in the woods with lady Chatterly!
Sorry ladies, I noded off, wine at lunchtime, not used to it!
That was most certainly a harsh review, I do hope you will be able to get your own back on him at some point! And you aren't paying for a membership?
Yes in the flesh upstairs on the first floor of the hospital. Aparently there are a few ladies swooning!
ShazzyLouLou wrote: "oh yes, he's my guilty pleasure. I could eat him with a spoon tee he he he"How about covering him in whipped cream and having the pleasure of licking it off him! Imagine him as Antoine, I'd better stop or I'll lose track of chapter 24 altogether!
Darkangel wrote: "LOL - he is quite a big lad by all accounts. :o)"Err I thought you worked in an eye hospital, don't tell me examining him thoroughly is part of the treatment!
I work in a private hospital, I work for the eye surgeons, he is in phsyio - and I meant big as in height and quite broad - LOL you have a filthy mind - no more wine at lunch for you - LOL
Darkangel wrote: "I work in a private hospital, I work for the eye surgeons, he is in phsyio - and I meant big as in height and quite broad - LOL you have a filthy mind - no more wine at lunch for you - LOL"I blame it on 50 shades, I wonder if I could sue?
I wouldn't mind a little physiotherapy with him! Lol my dad used to call them Physio terrorists!
Darkangel wrote: "LOL - you are terrible."Yep well, at least I'm awake now I must have been tired I fell asleep squashed on the little couch while his nibs crashed out on the big sofa!
Darkangel wrote: "I have given up on work this afternoon."Duh it's Wednesday today, I never even started! So far today all I've done is eat, sleep, cook and wash a few pots. I have been looking at the same phrase on chapter 24 for ages now, I have re-phrased one paragraph several times, I blame it on Gulli!
Sarah R wrote: "Darkangel wrote: "LOL - he is quite a big lad by all accounts. :o)"Err I thought you worked in an eye hospital, don't tell me examining him thoroughly is part of the treatment!"
How unfair is that! He's in the same building as you and you don't even appreciate it! Gutted! I think maybe you need to book yourself in for an eye exam - I think you may have problems with your eyesight!
And Sarah - whipped cream sounds good!! tee he he!
Darkangel wrote: "LMAO - like I said you and Sarah are welcome to him, he wouldn't want all 3 of us - Would he?"Oooh ya never know ;-)

LMAO! How old is this hunk we are both drooling over, anyone have any idea?
He has to be nearer my age I'm thinking, so that gives me the right to imagine him covered head to foot in whipped cream, decorated with chocolate flakes with strategically placed cherries too! And I'm sure if I were sat where you are Angel I would have hightailed it upstairs and drooled with the best of them.
But me being me I would have probably got noticed doing it! Here's my current fantasy.
Sean can feel her eyes boring into him, undressing him in her mind, well if that's what the lady desires let's see how far she's prepared to go. Naked except for the towel, loosely tucked around his waist one swift tug and he looses the towel. Running his hand through his hair he strolls nonchanlantly over. Sarah swallows hard, 'omigod, he's naked and heading straight for me!'
Darkangel wrote: "He is 53yrs.But that would mean poor Sharon going last if we did it by age ;o)"
Like I said he's mine! And the perfect age to play Antoine, tell me does he still look hot, distinguished but hot is the look I'm going on with Antoine!
Darkangel wrote: "Speak to you later - I am off on my 2 hours journey home!"Okay and I'll get back to the sentence that's been bugging me, it didn't make sense, now it does and now maybe I can get the two of them dressed and down to the restaurant! MMm who hasn't had a ghostly experience yet?

of course he's still hot! a bit more rugged looking but deffo hot!! ;-)
Have a good trip home Angel! x
Now go to my writing ShazzyLou and read Antoine in the form of Sean Bean and see if it works for you!
Darkangel wrote: "Speak to you later - I am off on my 2 hours journey home!"Night talk to you tomorrow!
Morning HunIt is persistantly chucking it down here, 30 minutes ago we had blue sky and sunshine, lol Sophie went to school in t shirt and shorts with a mini skirt covering her ass and sandals! It's a French thing, they have some wierd ideas of fashion!
When is this weather ever going to change!
Well I am not sure how long the sun will last, I too have on sandels so I just know I am going to get wet feet before the day is out. Thankfully, I do have a pair of boots under my desk just in case of emergencies ;o)
Darkangel wrote: "Well I am not sure how long the sun will last, I too have on sandels so I just know I am going to get wet feet before the day is out. Thankfully, I do have a pair of boots under my desk just in ca..."Suns out again here or it was, just talking to Jo Hugo kept them awake all night playing! I laughed because that's exactly what Jo used to do.
Nearly finished chapter 24, is loving HOD too, she likened the plotting twists to James Herbert or Mary Higgins Clarke!
Sarah R wrote: "Now go to my writing ShazzyLou and read Antoine in the form of Sean Bean and see if it works for you!"I'm gonna get round to reading HOD at some point today I promise. Now I have a clear picture of the lurvely Antoine, I'll let you know what I think!
It's blimming hot here already and it's not even 10am. :-( Poor Simon is out in it laying tiles on our new roof terrace - rather him than me!
Great feedback on HOD Sarah! Well done you.
I am in a better mood today. After the DISASTEROUS review yesterday, I woke up to a much more helpful review from someone else who obviously gets the genre. She's even given me in line comments on certain sections which need work on and I feel much more positive about the whole thing. I took your advice Sarah and printed the first few chapters off last night and went to work with my red pen. Lots of work to do, but at least it's progress!
Angel did you get a chance to read it?

That sounds good. It really helpful to get honest feedback - even if it's negative. You can't improve if everyone is too polite to tell you the truth!
