I think I will have to wait for the recipe book and the diet do's and don'ts book Lol we don't have any of the shops listed there in France and I haven't seen them in any of the supermarkets here.

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I got them in boots but can get them in Holland & Barratt. We will see. :o)

Yep, I hate dieting so this had better be an easy diet I am about to embark on without too many limits or I won't stick to it. but the fact that you can have 2000 calories and still lose weight gives me some hope. Lol at least I won't go hungry.

I sincerely hope so, and 2000 calories will be way more than I eat now! What I don't like is weighing everything and being told I can't have something. 90 per cent of the time you would quite happily go without until someone utters the immortal words, not allowed on your diet. Then you would kill to get it!

Hi Frege

We always seem to miss each other, whats the weather like where you are today? Its a bit dull where I am with a cool breeze though no rain has been forecast.

Morning Sharon

I wonder if my books will arrive today? Still nothing from either publisher I feel like piggy in the middle!

I have me time this morning a couple of hours at least so I am going to work on chapter 20 before I break to make lunch and shower.

I fancy fish pie, but instead of mashed potatoes I thinly slice new potatoes on top of the sauce!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning,

Last day for 5 days - Yay. I am already a third of the way through that damn book. Again, just can't put it down - lol

Are you going anywhere nice next week? Trip to the seaside daytrip to Calais maybe stock up on wine, practise your French?

I will think about ordering the two books next week when I get paid. I've seen a tablet 4g in Intermarche I thought about getting it instead of a kindle, then I wouldn't have to pay postage, the only trouble is I don't like reading from a screen. You can't take a tablet to the beach, get sand in it and its f****d!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Has been a little manic here in the office today. One big rush before the long weekend. it is so humid here today.

message 2263: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Lol I had a computer problem, I was working on my book when the cursor started making its way up the page by itself as if someone was reading as I wrote.

I got on to Chris straight away, he has control by remote so he can fix problems on line as I get them. He put me an espionage killing program on and now my computers vaccinated. I had twenty of the little buggers in there and one a fraud risk!

Why don't these people find something more constructive to do with there time than spying on folk!

something put my guard up yesterday about the same time I first noticed the cursor moving of its own volition, my computer told me it had installed unknown hardware - I hadn't put anything on since the mp 3 and that was a couple of weeks ago.

How much information have they gleaned I wonder?

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Mmmmm how lovely. I am off to the ballet on saturday and shopping on SUnday. Then rest for Monday and Tuesday :o)

message 2271: by Sarah (last edited Jun 01, 2012 09:22AM) (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Have a nice time at the ballet, I take it monster's not into men in tights!

I would love to go shopping on Sunday, lol but it aint gonna happen where I live and Sunday is mothers day!

Please not another pot plant! I want a tablet, or a laptop or an engagement ring but I'm under no illusions of getting any of the above.

I just priinted off what I have of chapter 20 and went through it with the red pen (well its black really) for the simple reason it was the only one I could find. Pens develop legs in our house, Sophie legs! I have a page and a half in normal script plus the extras and its tying up nicely. I won't have time to do anything to it tomorrow or Sunday I should imagine.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning hun, a bit wet down your way too I see on the news. I had a handmade reminder slate from Sophie, made with loving care at school and a bouquet of roses from Sophie via Alain, mother cooked lunch and I bought dessert, a good day was had by one and all!

Lunch duty now for the girls.

message 2277: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Hiya

Sounds lovely. yes the rain didn't even stay away for the Queen's Jubilee. Quite a wet weekend, but the ballet was fantastic.

Hi Hun

Yeah its wet and miserable here too, has been since Sunday evening. Miraculously the rain held off for Sophie's Kermesse, except for a shower which the children harly noticed. That's because they were to busy drenching each other with water pistols!

The Hog Roast in the evening went well to, Alain won the boules competition and came second in the palet. Neat trophy for the boules, a wine bottle holder in the shape of a cowboy like Clint Eastwood in the few dollars spaghetti western's.

Did Renee enjoy the ballet too?

message 2279: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Yes she loved it, but think that was because it was mixed with street dance. At least she has been to her first show now.

I had an inspiration at the weekend, I'm going to contact the E book people Pegasus put me in touch with and do as Raider wanted me to do I'm going to release the e book first using one of my cover options! I will have the last say as they still haven't got back to me.

message 2281: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Good for you, at least it will be getting out there.

message 2282: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "Good for you, at least it will be getting out there."

That's what I thought so I have started going through and making sure there are absolutely no errors however small that got overlooked so far I have used the knowledge gained by experience to change a small part to read better. I am up to chapter 6 or so lol only another 69 to go!

We have torrential rain, though it seems to have slowed a little, two minutes earlier and Sophie would have been soaked to the skin. A bit like my washing which I put out to dry Monday during a dry spell!

message 2283: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) It is dry here, just very grey. I am sure it will start pretty soon, it did say on the weather this morning to expect heavy showers. Typical.

I have a lovely long medico-legal to type shortly, once I have finished my clinic. Looks like a quick healthy sarnie from the canteen for lunch today.

I have lunch to prepare and the dishes from this morning to do! Swap you!

LOL-Not if you're coming by boat it wouldn't with the wind the sea will be decidedly choppy!

Lunch today is a simple affair I can't be bothered to do special, I'm having a can't be arsed sort of a day.
I started by getting up at 10.30 and then having breakfast and lolling around in general. Tomorrow I have to be animated, going to the hairdressers my hair is getting on my nerves cut and blow I think, depending on what time I get there I may have it streaked! Lol though every time I say that I chicken out, it looks painful and long winded!

message 2289: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I would have to come by train - lol, I don't do well on boats.

Alain just made me a lovely cup of expresso, decaf of course!

Doctor told him he has to stop smoking yesterday, his bp is still raised, I offered him the cure he declined!

Now I am looking for a DIY hypnosis recording in French for stopping smoking his present for father's day!

message 2291: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Do you think he will actually Listen to it?

message 2292: by Sarah (last edited Jun 06, 2012 07:26AM) (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "Do you think he will actually Listen to it?"

LOL - He'll have no choice if I tie him to the bed! I have been sneakily giving him natural medicine that will help his heart in the guise of it doing other things. Maca and pomegranate and he takes the passiflora to help him relax at bedtime.

Yes he'll listen to it, he's seen how the self hypnosis recordings helped me bring my bp into check together with natural medicines.

He's not so sure of my latest cure I've got a kidney stone, the pain I thought was a strained muscle turned out to be a kidney stone. The cure, 2fld oz pure freshly squeezed lemon juice mixed with the same amount of extra virgin olive oil and a dessertspoonful of honey then you drink it! And yes it tastes horrible, but the next step is the hardest drink 2 pints of water straight down. Simple it dissolves the stones I'll have to say since drinking it 3 days now I haven't had the pain in my side/back just a dull twinge every so often. Its supposed to last for 7 days the cure if after that you still have the pain its back to the doctors!

message 2293: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) That is some concoction! Rather you then me ont that one.

Tie him to the bed hmmm - you are reading too much lol.

Bit of a grey area don't you think? The concoction isn't too bad, I just think of it as a large salad dressing minus the salad! come to think of it if you added a little crushed garlic it would make a really nice salad dressing!

message 2295: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL what are you like - Morning by the way.

Well the sun is still in hiding but it is very humid here today. How are you?

In pain, I moved quickly in bed and pulled something in my back! I don't know I think my body is falling apart, I no sooner fix one problem than another arises!

If I were a horse they would have shot me by now to put me out my misery!

It has rained here all morning and its windy too not much chance of drying the washing outside today!

message 2297: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Sorry to hear that hun.

It is pouring down here now. Thankfully I have my pasta salad so I don't have to go out in it.

I'll survive no doubt, it has stopped raining here but the forecast is for more of the same. Lol at least we won't have to water the garden, but the weeds will grow faster than the plants. They alway's do, I am still working on twisting the story in chapter 20, it's coming along nicely. I've thrown a couple of possibilities of killers and reasons for and against!

message 2299: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Excellent, I like the sound of that. I have almost finished book 2 in the grey series. I have about another 5 chapters left. It is not too bad.

I hear a note of disappointment in the last five words, was I right in what I thought would happen?

The writing has been described as 'clunky' by some critics so how come it went viral?
