It'll be the amount you're not eating that's causing the problem, honest it's true the diet I did where I lost my weight easily without feeling hungry I ate more than I used to eat when I wasn't dieting!

Try it, at least that way you won't get despondant and eat all the wrong foods instead.

message 2102: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) So what diet was that one exactly.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "So what diet was that one exactly."

It was in the Daily Mail you added up grams of fat in everything you ate to lose weight you needed to be below the daily average - I had 30 fat units per day which is less than half of the daily requirement for an adult female.

I lost 5 stone! in 6 months and kept it off for over a year!

message 2104: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Oh right yes, I remember you telling me about that one.

I just had a non diet lunch, new potatoes cooked with Olive oil a little butter and shallots with a pork chop and macedoine vegetables! Probably gained a 1lb Lol!

message 2106: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I had a smoked chicken salad sandwich (minus the cucumber).

I can't eat cucumber at the moment it gives me heartburn, cheese too, guess who forgot and had cheese last night, me! Guess who paid for it during the night, me! Guess who won't do it again until next time she forgets, me!

message 2108: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - oh dear. I keep staring out the window - not going to get much work done if I keep doing that.

The question is do you want to do any work? Or more to the point do you have lots to do?

I have the afternoon quiet Sophie and the dog have gone with Alain who is supervising the roofers tiling the top of the gable end, and panicking about having enough money left in the kitty to finish the house! I keep telling him stress is a killer, the doctor gave him some tranquillisers, great says he, no its not said I the ones I take do the exact same and there is no risk of getting addicted to them.

Whoever heard of someone overdosing on passionflowers and hawthorne flowers! According to Alain mine are more dangerous than his, and on that note I give up. I did try to point out that my BP is now lower than his and I haven't lost an ounce yet!

message 2110: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I think both, I have too much work to do and secondly, I don't want to do it. hee hee.

Men never want to listen to what we have to say whether it is good or bad.

DO you know anything about the Acai berry diet?

No never heard of that one, and if all you eat is berries it can't be good for you!

I just looked it's a scam, it won't help you lose weight by taking the supplement alone you still have to eat the right foods. It probably costs an arm and a leg and all for an antioxidant with less potency than pomegranate extract which if you go through the place I get my supplements from you will pay just 8 euros for 2 months supply!

message 2112: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - they are capsules supposed to aid with diets.

message 2113: by Sarah (last edited May 23, 2012 08:21AM) (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "LOL - they are capsules supposed to aid with diets."

Yep and pomegranate has the same effect and is probably half the price. Its a free radical thing the berries contain an antioxidant but less potent than pomegranate so I'll stick to me pomegranate and eating sensible and not being hungry and if I don't lose weight so be it!
http://www.healthspark.co.uk/acai-ext... £56 quid for two months I rest my case!

God made me this way who am I to argue!

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "Yes, walked across the field then was scratching my leg all night"

So explain why the walk across the field?

Latest update on Mrs Robinson - stop press - has now found a 61 year old English man with money, and has told Pascal he can't come up for the weekend, pascal has now decided he misses her!

As she said that's tough, you made the decision to evict me from your life and now I'm the one making it permanent!

Yeah, I never thought she'd tell him to actually get stuffed! The new man is going to buy a house here in France, so he says and get her a car. All this bearing in mind she has never met him nor has she seen pictures of him and he's coming over for a holiday in a couple of weeks!

Interesting to see what happens! Your like me, biting insects love me too, my blood calls to them though since taking the herbal remedies I haven't been bitten, that could be yet another plus!

message 2125: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Time for me to dig out my wrap around trousers that you got for me. Just the right weather, regardless of the little blood suckers.

She is smitten with someone that she has never even met? My god that woman has no standards!

Nope none whatsoever, I wanted to laugh when she said there was a new man in her life, someone she spoken to on the telephone and chatted online. He is 'the one' I said nothing but remembered something from my youth a solicitor who worked at our other office was chatting me up, I said to the other secretary he sounds nice she laughed and said nothing.

Then came the day when he arrived in my office, I'd been chatted up by quasimodo, complete with hump and as ugly as sin with wonky teeth. Blind dates I don't do they always turn out to be mingers!

message 2127: by Sharon (new)

message 2131: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning

God its hot here, not for long though tomorrow we are promised a thunderstorm. She still hasn't sent the photos through, I'll remind her later.

Gonna have a barbecue tonight we promised Sophie we would, she is having sports day over in another village they've taken a picnic, hope there's some shade!

Though Sophie is doing a publicity stunt for my book today, wearing the hat. Oh bum I should have let her wear the t shirt too!

message 2132: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) We are having a BBQ tonight as well and yes it is scorching here too. Cooler to stay in my office today but may take a walk later just to catch a few rays of sun, which I will definitely be catching at the weekend. Get my base tan ready for turkey - lol

You should invest in the bronzing tablets they prepare your skin for the sun, you find them here in all the supermarkets.

Fish, chips and peas for lunch, that's oven chips fish cooked in a little olive oil and garden peas - Alain will probably be disappointed, he likes me to fry the fish but I'm trying to eat healthier until my book arrives.

Though I doubt if the beef I have marinating in red wine with herbs and garlic will help, though it was very lean beef and I am only stewing it. Boeuf Bourgignonne the first meal I cooked for Alain and his all time favourite. By special request with new potatoes on Sunday!

message 2134: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Have you had news about your book? Did Adam get back to you are your email?

There is a site I found were a couple of people have complained about Raider and if I get no joy from my emails I will post an email there!

message 2136: by Sharon (new)

Yeah I'm going to find an Agent before publishing any more, let them do the leg work! Give my poor old legs a rest, I'm staying inside this afternoon it is too hot for me out there.

I am going to put my feet up and listen to the latest freebie downloads and relax with my new book I treated myself to fifty shades of grey!

First I need to marinade my ribs for tonight!

Yes, I signed the contract last may 24th 2011 and I'm still waiting for my book to be released, not a happy bunny at the moment! I promised to give one to my daughters school for a prize for their fete next week, and that looks bad on me!

The only thing I have of my book is the cover, my profile photo is the cover and it has been edited and formatted, other than that its been silence radio and my so called personal assistant doesn't respond to his emails nor it's CEO!

Yes I'm going to have an ice cream with Sophie when she gets home, I have some supermarket equivalents of the solero low in fat and calories see I am starting to get into the swing of dieting by changing what I can before hand.

message 2147: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Exactly the same as me.

Suns out here again, I had a solero fruit rouges and sophie had the exotic ice cream. My ribs are marinading and we have cleaned the table and chairs ready for tonight I'm looking forward to a little barbecue.

I am starting the campaign above, truth hurts!
