Sharon wrote: "Body of Proof is good too"What's that about, not heard of that one living out in the wilderness means I have no idea what new programmes are out there!
Crime programme about the medical team that solve the murders etc. Stars Dana Delani - very good and she has the most amazing shoes in it.

You'd love sarenza.com, lots of shoes there, Zalando too!
Sharon wrote: "MorningSlightly grey at the moment but hoping for some sunshine. It is a bit humid though."
Same here, though I see a glimmer of sunshine, it's not very warm though, we have a cool breeze again. I'm waiting for Alain, he's gone for his blood test and x-rays on his neck, Doctor thinks his neck is suffering the same erosion as his lower back. If he'd listened to me 6 months ago and started taking the glucosamine instead of waiting until it got really bad he wouldn't be in pain now.
We are finally going to put the plastic(glass) back in the greenhouse, we take it out at the end of the season or we'd be chasing around the field all winter.
Next year we should be able to leave it in place, hopefully!
Hey Ingrid's back!
Sharon wrote: "Is she under a different name?"No, but she has no picture or information other than female and America, Irene seems to think its her.
I only noticed today, check your friends list.
You're in early today, are you feeling better than you did yesterday or still in the doldrums.
I am always in early unfortunately. Still a bit of the same. I don't know if it is the work or the people I work with. I get on very well with Fiona, but the other two really annoy me. Being in an open plan office, I'm quite sure it shows sometimes - lol

Being in..."Yeah, I hated open plan offices too, lol now I only have myself to fall out with! Though I have Alain under foot for the next 2 weeks, he keeps losing stuff, papers and then blaming me or Sophie for moving them. The last one's he found in the car, where he'd left them and the time before that a letter he lost we found in the garage in a courgette plant!
That is typical of men.Whoops just been really naughty. Got a egg and bacon sarnie from canteen for breakfast, I will eat my banana for a snack later ;o)

Mmm hope the yolk was runny, I hate it when its overcooked, and they could have slapped a big fat juicy sausage and some mushrooms in there while they were about it!
That's Alain's favourite treat, the full English, we had that every morning when we were in England all that salt no wonder my bp was up when we came back. Thank goodness I don't suffer from chloresterol too and with all the anti oxidants I take there shouldn't be a free radical left breathing in my body! I'm waiting for a deliver of 6 months supply of pomegranit tablets, more anti-oxidants, supposed to work wonders on fat cells too!
It was slightly runny but still delicious with brown sauce on brown bread, had to do a little bit healthy - LOL
Sharon wrote: "It was slightly runny but still delicious with brown sauce on brown bread, had to do a little bit healthy - LOL"I don't mind the brown bread, it's the brown sauce that would have put me off! Never have liked brown sauce, ketchup yes but even then not on a bacon sandwich! I like mine pure and unadulterated! I just put lunch on to cook spag bol, the girls and Alain will be pleased, it's one of the many of Alain's favourite meals!
Lol if you asked him which is his favourite meal you'd have a list a mile long, though he's not too fond of chicken curry. No doubt he will prefer beef curry or lamb rogan josh, I haven't tried him with those yet. I have a recipe book which gives you curry like you get in the takeaway's, called the curry secret. You make a base sauce with oil, tomatoes, onions and garlic, which you use to pr-cook the meat as well as the base for the sauce.
It's a long time since I made the sauce based curry the last time my chicken tikka masala was hotter than the beef madras! A bit heavy handed with the chilli powder I think!
I am not a curry eater. having a quiet (ish) day today at the moment and the sun has graced us with its pressence - YAY!
Sharon wrote: "I am not a curry eater. having a quiet (ish) day today at the moment and the sun has graced us with its pressence - YAY!"I love a well prepared Indian meal, mild to medium curry beef, Chicken, or lamb and chapatis, naan bread, samosas, tomatoe and onion salad with home made mango chutney for starters and popadoms!
Coconut Ice cream with mango and pineapple salad on a meringue shell doused with Malibu and squirty cream on top for afters!
And our sun's gone in again and it looks like it might rain for a change!
Right shower now and then an early lunch with the girls.
Sharon wrote: "I like the sound of the desert though ;o)"Yep me too, its refreshing after a shed load of curry!
I'm trying to avoid putting the greenhouse back together, because it means standing on the garden and risking getting bitten by marauding ants, and my leg is hurting again today. Its not my knee that's giving me the problem its the top of my tibia which is causing the pain.
Just went for a walk with Fiona in our lunch break - please tell me again why I always wear only black - it is scorching outside!
Sharon wrote: "Just went for a walk with Fiona in our lunch break - please tell me again why I always wear only black - it is scorching outside!"It seemed like a good idea at the time? Time to colour up your wardrobe a little don't you think?
Alain collared me to put the plastic in, I used my dads old walking stick to walk down the garden, I think he thinks I'm shamming! I only wish he was right!
Sharon wrote: "I don't do colour - I only wear black - LOL"Well you're gonna be hot all summer then, that is if we get one! Says she who is also dressed all in black today too!
I just sprayed Deep Heat on my legs and the smell is choking me, I can't win!
My leg hurt less after eating the spag bol, explain that one!
Sharon wrote: "Have you tried deep freeze, works the same but smells of menthol"No, I haven't even seen the deep heat sprays here, I'll take a look next time I go in the pharmacy.
Sharon wrote: "I don't want to do any more work today, it is far too nice."Yeah it's nice here now, Alain planted the tomatoes and then went to his mothers so I'm excused garden duty for the rest of today at least.
Sharon wrote: "YAY - we just had an icecream - it was definitely needed - lol"It's not that hot here, but then you are now cooking in your little portacabin aren't you, freezing in winter and boiling in summer!
I should be looking to do something on chapter 19 it would take my mind of my leg.
Ohhhh that would be good ;o)I am reading Fifty Shades of Grey at the moment. An Erotic novel which is quite big here at the moment. I am sitting on the train and I keep grinning, wouldn't mind but I am not even grinning at the sex bits, it's the little comments - lol
Hi can anyone help me, how to put the character birthdate , when we do the character profile and how can i get character names?

Heard of it but not read it, I just did a test for my heart and scored 89/100 so I must be doing something right!
Rishika wrote: "Hi can anyone help me, how to put the character birthdate , when we do the character profile and how can i get character names?"Hi Rishika
I would bring your characters birthday/date in conversation in an actual novel. Like so 'why, when is your birthday?' 'Are you going to tell me when your birthday is?'
In a character profile I would just mention the age of the character unless the date of his or her birth is relevant to the story.
And character names I make up but before I use them I use a numerolgy reading generator to give me a character reading. I have never had to scrap a name so far because it didn't fit the profile, so I'd say it works.
Very true.I have not done much work this afternoon, I have to admit. Nice a quiet, makes a change. So I am taking it all in my stride - lol

I haven't done much all day! Sophie pegged my washing out for me and I just had my ice cream!
How do you get this numerlogy reading generator? I am stuck with my novel, I dont know what to start my character profile or my story?
Rishika wrote: "How do you get this numerlogy reading generator? It might help to write a general synopsis of the outline of the story first to get a general feel for where you are heading. You must have a strong beginning, middle and ending without a strong first few chapters you will lose the attention of the reader, don't bore them with description at the beginning spread it out through the book. The middle is where you need to pick up the action once more, make the reader want to know how your story ends.
And the piece de resistance must be your ending, if you go out with a whimper and a weak ending your next novel won't sell well. Your reader needs to be left wanting more, to know what happens next.
In my first novel my ending was seperated into four parts, the four couples stories needed closure, I started with secrets at the beginning of the book revealed the secrets throughout the book and left each couple with another secret at the end. Leaving the route open for a sequel, for which I already have a title and the first 15 chapter completed.
Morning hun,Suns out here today for how long who knows, Alains results came back for his blood test, bad cholesterol is raised and a couple of other items are out of the norm so we will have to wait until he sees the doctor to know what he is going to do.
If he doesn't ring beforehand its not serious. Fingers crossed he doesn't ring!
The sun is shining here as well, it is supposed to be with us until the weekend at least. I think I am going to try trampolining to help shift my weight, what do you think?
Sharon wrote: "The sun is shining here as well, it is supposed to be with us until the weekend at least. I think I am going to try trampolining to help shift my weight, what do you think?"Depends on the person, me I'm terrified of trampolines, I bought a new diet recipe book and the blah blah blah book that accompanies it. Its called the dash diet and from what I can see it is very similar to the one I did before and succeeded with, its a lower your cholesterol and blood pressure diet it says without medication and within 14 days!
Apart from starving myself, I don't know what to do any more. It just doesn't seem to want to shift.
Sharon wrote: "Apart from starving myself, I don't know what to do any more. It just doesn't seem to want to shift."Starving yourself will have the opposite effect because your body puts itself into self preservation mode and shuts down to protect itself. The effect of this is that when you give up your diet as hopeles you start to eat normally and you put weight on quickly.
It's a viscious circle, your body needs 2000 calories what it doesn't need are unatural fats and sugars, fructose is a natural sugar readily available in the supermarket and use butter salt free preferably but use moderately and cook with olive oil.
In other words you need to eat more of the right foods and you will lose weight and not be hungry. Try the dash diet yourself amazon have the books!
I forwarded you the titles I bought the recipe book that way I can use it on Sophie and Alain too!
