No, I have not had the chance to yet, but I certainly will do it. I need some relaxation that is for sure.
Sharon wrote: "No, I have not had the chance to yet, but I certainly will do it. Just come back from shopping, and one day I will walk out of the shop with exactly what I went in for alone. Lol instead of all the extras that seem to have jumped into my trolley as well!
Sharon wrote: "I have a magic filling up trolley like that ;o)"They usually come attached to a member of the opposite sex, who wander round putting in all the stuff you can't eat while you're on a diet!
My other half will not come shopping with me, it sometimes has something to do with a step daughter!
Sharon wrote: "My other half will not come shopping with me, it sometimes has something to do with a step daughter!"Yeah mine can be both an Alain and a Sophie! Morning weather here not very promising after two solid days of rain, it's grey and dry for now for how long who knows!
The next years school trip for Sophie may be to Hastings, they are learning about the battle of Hastings and William the Conqueror. Since moving her she has been away to the seaside, skiing, and Normandy and it hasn't cost me the arm and a leg you would have expected!
That sounds cool. Hastings can be quite nice.Well believe it or not the Sun has graced us with its pressence today. Shock Horror.

Yep its trying to poke its way out here too, so maybe I will be able to put the washing outside today!
My daughter and hubby are at logerheads again, she's asked if we'll put her up for a while, she wants Alain to ask if there are any jobs going, I think this may be the end of the road for the marriage, and I can't get hold of her.
Sharon wrote: "Oh tht is not good, especially as she has just had the baby. Are they just not getting on?"Nope, he's too much like her dad, we have laughed and she openly admits she's married to a man exactly like her father, an absolute 'see you next tuesday' sorry, how I stuck him for 23 years I don't know! Her husband is the same, always right, spends money like water, is jealous always accusing her of being with someone else.
Funny, my ex-husband kept accusing me of that, so it was his fault that he pushed me towards another.
Sharon wrote: "Funny, my ex-husband kept accusing me of that, so it was his fault that he pushed me towards another."Yep, mine too, Jo's dad that is, not the 'dear departed' couch potato, yeah eventually you think well if he thinks I'm cheating I may as well do it and get the enjoyment as well as the arguements.
I just downloaded the second album, natural focus you can do both at the same time the first download is on there too.
Hi i have written a story , and i will be more happy if you could comment on it and see what my mistakes are.http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/3...
Rishika wrote: "Hi i have written a story , and i will be more happy if you could comment on it and see what my mistakes are.http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/3..."Okay, will do this afternoon.
Woohoo my MP 3 players arrived its smaller than my phone! You practically need a magnifying glass to find it, now all I have to do is work out how to use it! Then I can download the hypnosis recordings onto it.World war 3 appears to have been avoided between my daughter and her husband, for now at least. I am under no illusions eventually she will walk away from him, whether she'll do it while the children are little I don't know!
My mother was right children break your arms as babies and your heart when they grow up! I feel so useless, she could come here, but we really don't have the room. I suggested she get herself a job and put her money away safe, in a deposit account and if she still feels the same when the house is finished she can take over the house I'm living in.
It's warm, big enough for her and the two children, and has a huge garden. She agrees, she said it was just temper last night, she is working this weekend, waitressing her husband is going to help his brother for the weekend and the children are going to their Godfather and his wife for the weekend!
Give them chance to cool down a bit!
Morning HunBad afternoon yesterday, Eclair got knocked down by a car a few feet from where our other dog got killed by a car 2 years ago.
We took him straight to the vets, severly shocked but thankfully nothing broken, various cuts and no doubt he is black and blue under his fur, poor little thing.
He was playing in the garden with Alain and he must have run after a rabbit into the road, he is one lucky dog. The vet was wonderful she opened the surgery for us no questions asked. He is a bit more alert this morning and he's eating and drinking, the vet was worried about internal bleeding.
I think he must be part cat, but I reckon he used up several of his nine lives yesterday. The car of course didn't stop, makes you wonder if they would have stopped if it had been a child that ran out! I am going to put up a sign asking the question, 'And if my dog, Eclair, had been a child, would you have still driven off?' I am going to put a photo of the dog at play before and now lying quietly in his basket with his battle wounds!
Oh that is so sad, glad he is feeling a bit better though. What type of dog is Eclair? Some people only ever think of themselves and not the consequences they may cause to others. I absolutely hate people like that.
Sharon wrote: "Oh that is so sad, glad he is feeling a bit better though. What type of dog is Eclair? Some people only ever think of themselves and not the consequences they may cause to others. I absolutely h..."He's a sausage dog crossed with a terrier, really cute and loving, he is as soft as a brush even the post lady loves him. Lol she says he's the only dog on her round that doesn't try to bite her ass!
Don't worry I cursed them, there's a wall or a bridge out there somewhere with their name on it.
Sharon wrote: "Good, it is what they deserve."He's fast asleep on the sofa bed with Alain, who is snoring gently, I made him take the Passiflora tablets last night, or he wouldn't have got any sleep at all. He blamed himself for not keeping a closer watch on Eclair while he was cutting the grass.
I worked on Chapter 18 on Saturday, it's not finished I was hoping to do some more on Sunday but instead I have been nursing the dog. He will at least take his antibiotics and his pain killers which is something, the vet gave him two injections yesterday, a diuretic just to be on the safe side and a sedative which knocked him out.
It might make him more wary of the road, now he knows how painful it can be!
Sharon wrote: "Poor little thing. No rush about Chapter 18 - Eclair's health is more important."
Funny I never thought I would be so attached to a dog, but there you go. I stayed up until gone midnight just to make sure he was okay, and even when I went to bed I only catnapped despite taking two of the Passiflora tablets myself.
What did you get up to at the week end?
Well Saturday we went round to friends and sunday they came to ours as it was absoultely beautiful, we actually managed to have a BBQ. I had a few little drinkie poos and just chilled.
Sharon wrote: "Well Saturday we went round to friends and sunday they came to ours as it was absoultely beautiful, we actually managed to have a BBQ. I thought about a barbecue on Saturday evening but although it was a lovely sunny day there was a cold wind blowing.
OUrs wasn't too bad, we even managed to sit in the garden with our friends. It was colder inside the house.
Sharon wrote: "OUrs wasn't too bad, we even managed to sit in the garden with our friends. With no fencing to deflect it, we have never had a barbecue and sat outside here! The new garden will be better, protected on two sides and Southerly winds are usually warm ones!
Cool. We had to make the most of it. Just as well as it has not stopped raining today. Non-stop rain for nearly a month and we still have a hose pipe ban - doesn't make sense!
Sharon wrote: "Cool. We had to make the most of it. Just as well as it has not stopped raining today. Lol another bank hol here on thursday hence the rain, they haven't mentioned a hosepipe ban here as of yet, I hope not or I won't be able to fill the swimming pool for when Jo and the kids come for a holiday in July!
Sharon wrote: "We didn't get ours filled up in time. Now it looks like a pond with all the dirty rain."Ours is only one of the plastic ones and this year I am going to invest in a filter for it as I will only get one chance to fill it up. I've got all the chemicals from last year unopened, because it was so hot and dry in April we got banned earlier than I thought! Though other people went ahead and filled their pools and got away with it.
Sophie just made me a nice cup of herbal tea, anti oxidant grabbing all those free radicals as I drink. LOL!
Morning hunThis mornings doggie update, Eclair is better this morning, still a bit subdued he keeps going and hiding under the sofa bed, he usually only does that when he's been shouted at for doing something naughty or when I burn my toast.
I suppose he is suffering from post traumatic stress poor thing, we went for a little walk around the garden this morning on the lead I hasten to add just to stretch his legs a little. I got to go to the vets and pay the bill today, neither of us had any money with us on Sunday, our concern was the dog.
I did some more to chapter 18 but had to stop as Sophie kept trying to read over my shoulder, and there's lots of adult content in chapter 18 so I gave it up in the end I should be able to finish it today all being well.
Morning hun,Poor little thing is still scareed. Looking forward to Chapter 18. Am reading the Reach at the moment by Nate Kenyon. Only started it 2 days ago and have 5 chapters left. Can't seem to put it down.
Hopefully work wont be so busy today. Fiona is back today, she did the Moonwalk for Breast Cancer on Saturday night so took yesterday off to recover. I don't mind covering her as I know she always covers me.
Yes, he's looking at me with big sad eyes at the moment from the sofa, which he is not normally allowed on but. I am going to recover it when we get in the new place, that way it will stay pristine. The next fabric sale I m going to choose my fabric and make the cushion covers in readiness.Eclair will have a small easy chair in the kitchen when we move and be banned from the lounge at nights, only in there with us so my sofa won't be covered in dog hairs as I can put a blanket on to protect it. I will have to recover the dining chairs too for the second time, and re-varnish them and the table.
Sharon wrote: "That sounds like a lot of work, but at least they will look like new ;o)"Yep and so much cheaper too, and I won't have to complain about shoddy workmanship!
I have two buffets in pine to re-varnish too!
I ahve to say it is soooooo cold here today. My hands are finding it hard to type. Think I need another hot coffee.
Sharon wrote: "I ahve to say it is soooooo cold here today. My hands are finding it hard to type. Think I need another hot coffee."Well the sun is shining here but its very windy making it seem colder than it actually is, I lit a fire, so that should give you some idea.
I just had some soup for lunch, it is that cold here. I wish it was a duvet day with the fire, cats and some good books.
Sharon wrote: "I just had some soup for lunch, it is that cold here. I wish it was a duvet day with the fire, cats and some good books."I was naughty and had half a dozen big fat chips with a pork chop and some baked beans!
I just got rid of my old microwave, my friend who takes Sophie at lunchtime Thursday/Friday her microwave blew up the other day. It still works it was just big and heavy and a bit slow, my small one is fine for now, I only use it to defrost she uses hers to heat things up and cook in.
Well alain said I had to start getting rid of stuff!
Sharon wrote: "LOL -why not? I know I fancy some chocolate right now, but I will be good ;o)"Funny that me too! Lol I just did the hypnosis and I must have been that relaxed I actually fell asleep! When I opened my eyes it had started again!
It must have really worked then. I am trying to sort out accounts for one of my consultants and it is impossible. She receives all the payments then lets me know she has received them etc. Argh!
Sharon wrote: "It must have really worked then. I am trying to sort out accounts for one of my consultants and it is impossible. She's made me a cup of herbal tea in exchange for half an hour of telly!
Sharon wrote: "Oh bless her, she knows what buttons to press at the right time - LOL"Yep, sorry got a little carried away there with the scene I'm writing, very near to the knuckle!
You're gonna love this one!
Morning.Well the sun has finally got his hat on today, how long for remains to eb seen. How are you today?

Well I was fine, until Alain came home with bad news, his brother died, heart attack and he was due to come out of hospital this afternoon. I never met him, and now I won't for sure.
Good news Eclair fetched his ball last night to play so we can safely say he is well on the mend.

Have you downloaded the hypnosis to your phone yet? Lol with a day like you had yesterday sounded like you needed it to help you unwind. You could do it on the train going home at night, don't worry you are still conscious of all the background noises as well as his voice. But it would revitalise you for the evening at home, letting all your worries slip away!
