Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I don't like flying but I do it, especially if I want to go to nice places :o)

Then I suggest you stay away from flying into Zurich - the descent is so steep you think your eardrums are going to explode! And Madeira is scary when you take off and land you come in over the ocean the runway starts in the sea!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Sod that. I have just met Bob Hoskins, my boss made me introduce myself to him.

Ooh, is he just as small in real life - I have visions of him being around about the same height as Danny De Vito!

Hows the painting going? You managed to obliterate the ex yet?

What colour did you paint it? That is a question you don't normally need to ask me just check my hair and my hands! I'm so messy it's unreal!

message 1207: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning Sharon

I won't ask what colour you've painted yet as it's only 8.15 your time. I'm still feeling under the weather 48 hour tummy bugs last for longer when you're older it seems!

I can recharge properly next week when Sophie is away in Normandy with school. The weather forecast is warm and sunny but I don't wish I was going with them.

All those children!!! 60+ the stuff of nightmares!

message 1208: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I painted it . Sorry to hear you are under the weather. Watching cooking programs at the moment.

I bet that feels good, like exorcising a ghost! The terracotta lady's gone now what colour have you replaced it with?

Oh I'll be fine, just taking longer to shake off the bug, it's made me tired, well that and stopping up too
I felt well enough to open up the house of death and add to chapter 7! And change some bits in the rest of it, you should know how I work by now. Editing on the hoof!

message 1210: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Hi Sharon

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Hi Hun

I just saw the trailer for a scary movie, Silent House - not one for the faint hearted it made me jump and I am not easily scared!

Not sure I should tell Jo about it! Would prefer to read the book first though.

message 1214: by Sharon (new)

Bummer! Not started it yet I had a hectic weekend getting stuff ready for Sophie she is on her hols this week!

I sent you something to read though as they say two heads are better than one there has to be a way to help my friend Lori out of the mess her sister has dropped her in but I can't seem to motivate her on my own. I need help?

An email from the publishers would be nice, from either of the two!

Time to poke them again I think!

message 1220: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I agree and with a big stick.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "I agree and with a big stick."

Sounds very painful that! I thought I would have heard from England about Light the seventh candle too, but nothing so far.

I am feeling lazy today in a can't be bothered mode.

We had frozen lasagna bought from the supermarket for lunch, that should give you some idea of my laziness!

message 1222: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - I like lazy days sometimes. I do have to admit, I have the urge to do a bit of writing - first time in ages!

I will too when he who watches how much computer time I have goes home to mother!

Oh goodie he ran out of petrol for the mower which means I will be left in peace now! No child, no man and no dog!

I hope he managed to mow me a path to the washing line I'm sick of getting bitten by marauding ants when I peg my stuff on the line!

message 1224: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) You must have tasty blood like I do! I take it spring is hitting where you are today, it is certainly hitting here. We even have the window open in the office - lol

Yep as Alain would say 'the sun is shining and the sky is blue!' Yep I must taste wonderful the buggers make a meal of me!

message 1226: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I have that same problem unfortunately. It is murder to sit in the garden in the summer.

message 1227: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "I have that same problem unfortunately. It is murder to sit in the garden in the summer."

Sit in the garden you're brave. Though I have a box of ant killer for the new house. Annihalate the buggers! It's me or them and they don't pay rent!

message 1228: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) lol,I have citronella candles and spray ready.

message 1229: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "lol,I have citronella candles and spray ready."

Not sure it would work in a garden the size of a football pitch! though it would look mighty pretty though knowing my luck i'd be allergic to citronella!

message 1230: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I have quite a big garden! Plus Monst likes to have bonfires most weekends, and they absolutely hate the fire.

message 1231: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "I have quite a big garden! Plus Monst likes to have bonfires most weekends, and they absolutely hate the fire."

Yeah, but because our garden here backs on to a field we will be hit by a ban when the crop starts growing for risk of the fire spreading. In the new place we will be fenced off so less chance of that.

message 1232: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning,

I am so relaxed today, I'd forgotten what child free feels like! Those poor teachers with 59 10 and 11 year olds they must be stressed out today!

The sun is shining not a cloud on the horizon and I started chapter 8 and Chris fixed my driver problem so I can post my photo now of the sand castle cake!

message 1233: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Cool, I look forward to seeing that. It is quite grey here today, didn't think the nice spring weather would last too long.

No sorry it came our way we had temperatures up in the 20's here yesterday I may drive over to the beach on Thursday, though it's not much fun on your own and I'm not picking up Lilo Lil now she's exchanging emails with a graduate. New name therefore must be Mrs. Robinson! Wants me to telephone her no way Jose I erased the message I'm going into town much nicer, calmer! I'm a goin skip diving in Noz!

message 1235: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - it appears that both names fit her well. Are you going for anything in specific at Noz or just bargin hunting?

message 1236: by Sarah (last edited Mar 13, 2012 03:00AM) (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "LOL - it appears that both names fit her well. Are you going for anything in specific at Noz or just bargin hunting?"

Yep she's stalking the brother of the guy she was supposed to be going to live with now too! Has she no shame!

Bargain hunting and looking for a late christmas present for Chris - the kids all got theirs I found a nice long lightweight cardigan for Gemma in the sale.

Should have been 30 Euros and reduced to 8, a real bargain. Talk to you later. BFN

message 1237: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments I'm back didn't go to Noz in the end, not enough time for a good mooch so I went and had my haircut instead.

Trust me it only took 20 minutes from washing it to walking out the door! No appointment necessary and the cheapest place in town the best cut too! 22 Euros the others charge 35! for a simple cut wash and blow dry extortionate! I can have both mine and Sophie's cut washed and blow dried for less!

message 1238: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Sounds like a bargin, I have not had my hair trimmed for a while now, may get it trimmed just before I go to Turkey - LOL

message 1239: by Sarah (new)

I don't like mine long, not very becoming on the more mature lady! Sounds better than old, or a wrinkly (which I'm not thanks to oil of Argan!

The hairdresser asked how long since my last cut, and whenI said a few days before Christmas, she looked puzzled and said it had grown very fast!

She agreed with me it is stronger and said it would be interesting to see how quickly it grows this time! Argan oil strikes again!

message 1240: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I have to admit, my hair is going right down my back, but certainly needs a trim now, and a re-touch up on the roots - lol

message 1248: by Sharon (new)

A chat show host, Ellen De Generes I figured if she got the option of telling it how it is to someoneLike her it might get it out her system and get her the help she so desperately needs and if she won't do it I'm sending the last email she sent me to Ellen light blue touch paper and stand back and wait for the sparks, I will ask for help for her she isn't going to take the cowards way out and end it all while I've got a tongue in my head.

message 1250: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Oh right, I know here (well not personally) but good idea. I am with you on that one.
