Sharon wrote: "Hopefully I wont forget my Kindle today so i will at least have something to read!"Yes me to normally I must have had a mad moment. Chapter six is coming along, but I have yet to get them out of the house and move to the couple next door who knock at the door just as they are about to leave and jump to the wrong conclusion!
Sharon wrote: "I am liking the sound of that. Very exciting!"I hope so, I don't know what's up with my computer but every night at the same time it starts a go slow. Bloody kids playing on the net I shouldn't wonder.
Morning,You should have Chapter 6 in your posession. I finished it last night whilst Alain was watching football. Hiss Boo, I switched the tele off so he wouldn't realise there was a match on!
Sharon wrote: "I have it, I am about to start it whilst eating my yogurt hmmmm"If you haven't started it yet don't I am changing it! Sorry I contradicted myself - that'll teach me to drink while I write - No wonder Marion Keyes last book didn't make sense!
Sharon wrote: "Damn you - I just finished it. lol"Sorry, but you had probably realised I'd lost the plot!
Sharon wrote: "No, it seemed to work, but I assume the rewrite will be even better. What are you like? LOL"Sober, well almost - Don't worry there's no football this evening so no chance of it happening again! I am just going to read it through out loud and then you can have it! And I'll try to leave it alone after that - don't worry I have to send the new version to my sister too - the only difference there being she didn't get the very end because at the time I hadn't written it!
She likened it to James Herbert and Stephen King, said the ghostly bits made her spine tingle! Maybe there is a god after all!
Sharon wrote: "I agree, the ghostly bits were good, gave the right feelings and leaves you hanging on for more."Here you go I am sending it through I still think it needs working on.
Sharon wrote: "Nice, you were right, it did sound a lot better. Liking the little twists forming."Thank god for that, the twists were the ones I got in a ravel with.
The only people in the dark are Charlene and her family and Jean (Clara's husband to a certain degree) He doesn't know what Jem saw - and Antoine doesn't know that clara and Jem know about their relationship.
The history is the bit I now have to try to keep straight in my head. So I don't have a repeat of last night!
I have a few more surprises I will write chapter 7 and then I will do the synopsis and prepare it for the Publishers! I may even have a go at pitching it to an Agent!
Now I have the dishes to do and lunch to sort out - steak and chips today - sod it!
Sharon wrote: "LOL - Go for it witht eh agents, I think you have a winner!"Thanks I'll give it a whirl, what have I got to lose the worst they can do is say not today thank you! I started chapter 7 but I am going into town now we need a new killer spray Gerard borrowed mine and broke it.
He didn't offer to replace it either! He won't be borrowing the new one! He can buy his own!
Sharon wrote: "Too right. I don't actually want to do any work today, it is too nice outside."I have done exactly nothing except wash up and shop!
Morning SharonI got two fuschia pink scalloped edged Roman Blinds from Noz yesterday for the two upstairs bedrooms they were 15E 1.50m x 2m for the velux - you can buy special velux ones for about 300E each for the outside or about 200E for the inside blooming ridiculous prices!
I got a loo roll holder to match a towel ring I bought last year for 2.50e which only goes to show if you wait long enough you will get what you need!
I won't get much writing done today as I am being a shoulder to cry on - Jane who came out be with her boyfriend before Christmas has been told she has to go back to England and just come out for holidays - She told him no if she goes she isn't coming back and she's taking her tele and other stuff she paid for! He is more upset to be losing the television than anything else!
She will be on match.com looking for a replacement this afternoon! I said we could stop by a farmer friends too - he would like a live in to help on the farm! Fingers crossed! I feel responsible I introdued her to the trou de cul! I have banned him from the house both here and Penvern! If he comes round I go out!
Well good luck to her, she don't need someone who thinks more of the tv then they do their partner. Hopefully I will not be to busy today, I might attempt a few poems.
Sharon wrote: "Well good luck to her, she don't need someone who thinks more of the tv then they do their partner. Hopefully I will not be to busy today, I might attempt a few poems."Yeah that's what I told her not only will he lose his girlfriend he loses two friends, because I will be really angry with Alain if he has anything more to do with him.
If we are invited anywhere and he's there I will leave - or stone wall him! He'll be the one feeling uncomfortable not me! Have fun with your poetry!
Sharon wrote: "I am also trying to keep my blog up to date, but that doesn't always want to happen - lol"One farmer down match.com to go!
Sharon wrote: "Really, that was quick!"Yep well we have to try and sort something out quickly!
Curry for lunch - Hope he doesn't bring Gerard cos he won't eat rice!
Hi Sharon what you up to this weekend? I am relishing the peace and quiet, I know she is in a predicament but if I here one more time how Pascal's done this, and what Pascal wants her to do and what Chantal said. I may scream, very very loudly!
2 days and one night seemed like an eternity - even Alain said when's she going home and he'd been out all day and this was on Friday night! I had her for all the following day too! Even Sophie asked for headache tablets!
I got nothing done, I tried to write but she went on and on about the same things and I couldn't concentrate and in the end I gave up and did some embroidery, I switch off when I'm doing that!
Am I mean? I don't think so there is a limit, and she's a cheeky bugger and thought she was staying for the whole weekend and then SHE said she'll come and live with me until she finds someone. No IMPOSSIBLE I can't sublet says I quickly!
She'd be dead with 2 days, I'd batter her to death!
Sounds like another good plot for a book - LOL, Sorry to hear your weekend, was quite a stressful one. It can only get easier right?
Sharon wrote: "Sounds like another good plot for a book - LOL, Sorry to hear your weekend, was quite a stressful one. It can only get easier right?"I hope so, she's got an accent that grates on your nerves after a while. Plus she is always going on about genealogy, about how her great gran'dmothers aunty's uncles cousin married her mothers brother's sister in law. I don't give a s**t, bores me to bloody tears!
And if I hear one more time her relatives are decendants of the Bretons I think I might top myself!
Sharon wrote: "Who are the Bretons? Now hearing you it makes you wonder about her ex partner!!"Yes it could be that she's driven him round the bend too!
The Bretons are natives of Brittany, like Alain.
Oh right. I feel the death of a nagging partner, but many a suspect - lol Just to keep you on the murder mystery trail. ;o)
I am on leave from wednesday. Just taking some time off to first paint the ceillings and secondly to have a smal break. I may get some writing done. I will still be contactable.
Sharon wrote: "Oh right. I feel the death of a nagging partner, but many a suspect - lol Just to keep you on the murder mystery trail. ;o)"Lol, thanks but I don't feel at all well whether it's a result of being stressed or a bug I'm not sure but no one else is ill!
Sharon wrote: "I am on leave from wednesday. Just taking some time off to first paint the ceillings and secondly to have a smal break. I may get some writing done. I am just so sick of it being dark, it has been like it since I moved in. The ex not only painted the walls teracota but the ceiling too. How thick!
Sharon wrote: "I am just so sick of it being dark, it has been like it since I moved in. The ex not only painted the walls teracota but the ceiling too. How thick!"Yep, and that is going to take some serious paint to cover it! Dulux once is your best bet and even then I have a feeling you might need 2 coats!
I painted Sophie's ceiling plum coloured but her walls are pale pink and candy pink so the walls compensate for the dark ceiling - the idiot here before me painted it all blue and I figured it would be best to stick with a dark colour!
She loves it and wants me to do a similar thing in her new bedroom! I also bought a guy's and doll's stencil to paint her a border. Lol at least in the new house the floor will be level and I should get a straight line! I will stencil in dark pink, violet and black I think on pale candy pink walls! Not sure about the ceiling yet! I may paint it a delicate shade of pink, rose white maybe.
Sounds nice. Even the skirting and door frame is poxy teracota.. I did a little shopping trip to Homebase yesterday. Have to remember to take it out of the car before Monst goes to work on Wednesday - LOL
Sharon wrote: "Sounds nice. Even the skirting and door frame is poxy teracota.. I did a little shopping trip to Homebase yesterday. How wonderful would that be!
Lol everything shuts here on Sunday, it's caught a lot of people out who arrive late Saturday evening and think they can go shopping the next day! I have had to bail people out who stayed in a friends house on more than one occasion with potatoes, and sausages, eggs and steak and kidney pies from my freezer!
Funny but they very rarely forget to pick up some alcohol!!!!
LOL - I found that out when I went to Paris for the long weekend, but thankfully the sunday poured down with rain so stayed most of the day in the hotel. But it was still lovely and worth the trip.

LOL very true, we did find a little shop that was open on sundays, and thankfully the restaurants were open in the evening.
Yeah at least the eateries know better, we went to Lille at the beginning of December for the Christmas market and all the shops stayed open the entire weekend. There were ice sculptures and an evening market it was lovely. We went to Bruges as well on the Saturday afternoon to see their Christmas market they had an open air ice rink too! It was only 50 km or so from Lille! Oh those were the days - prior to Sophie arriving and before the Euro!
LOL - they sound lovely. I will definitely be going back to france at some point, just don't know when at the moment.
Sharon wrote: "LOL - they sound lovely. I will definitely be going back to france at some point, just don't know when at the moment."They were well worth the trip - Jo and her fiance of the time went with us - as soon as we got on the ferry Jo headed for the loo - bad sailor even on a calm sea she's sick!
They went the following year too but to a different market Le Touquet I believe - she made him take her via the Eurotunnel!
Wise choice indeed, It is quite a pleasant trip on the Eurostar. I loved it especially as I absolutely hate flying.
Sharon wrote: "Wise choice indeed, It is quite a pleasant trip on the Eurostar. I loved it especially as I absolutely hate flying."Not for some folk today it isn't it snowed heavily in Lille and the Eurostar has been delayed!
she went with the car so she got a 35 minute trip under the channel from Folkestone to Calais, no frills you drive on and stay in the car and then drive off at the other end!
How did you get to Turkey if you don't like flying?

Not sure if it will be ready this afternoon. You want a laugh I bought a ticket on Saturday for the Euros millions and one for the lotto - not a single number on either!
Next time I revert to my usual mode of choosing - let the machine do it for me! I'm crap!
