At a used book sale, you purchase a leather-bound volume. At home, you thumb through the pages and an old letter tumbles out. What does the letter say? Write the letter.
Tony wrote: "I need a ya prompt. Anyone have one?"How about...Claire looked up from her magazine to find a spotty faced teenager staring intently in her direction....
Sharon wrote: "Marlene - you have got to be kidding - LOLNot too bad have applied for 8 so far - no news at the moment, but I wont stop there."
Marlene. I like it, but the Marlene in The Menorah Murders died in the seventh or so chapter. It's been so long since I did any work on it I've forgotten where I got to with the revision. Plus I only have a vague idea where the printed sheets are for the revision and my printer has decided to throw a wobbly!
Did I send you Chapter 40 of The House of Death? I just went in to read through the last chapter before maybe starting work on it while the anti computer Gestapo is at work.
Your character has been finding a similar phrase, image or object everywhere she goes. What is this object or phrase, and what kind of event does it always foreshadow? Focus on using the repeated image as a tool to raise tension, instead of lowering it.Your protagonist is viewing a new house, and walks by a small, half-sized door. Immediately they feel goosebumps, and when they reach out to touch the antique door pull, they hear a series of shouts… What’s behind the door?
Your character is in the limo on the way to prom, when her date announces that he’s dating her best-friend. But she’s completely okay with it, because….
Sharon wrote: "Very funny Del Boy!"Lol- you should audition as a comedy double act the pair of you are so sharp be careful you don't cut yourselves!
Sharon wrote: "I can't remember to be honest."No, me neither, I tel you what I'll send it through again.
Tony wrote: "I need a ya prompt. Anyone have one?"I find using quotations from another book of the same genre helps, or a biblical or Shakespearean quote, maybe one from Romeo and Juliet or the Taming of the Shrew? Or the Scottish play!
Sharon wrote: "Send it with 39 as well so I can re-cap."Okay, will do, I just read 40 and the end of 39 I may go back further after I light the blooming fire, I'm freezing up here in the gods!
Not to rub it in, we actually have all the windows open here in the office. Now that does make a change.
Sharon wrote: "Not to rub it in, we actually have all the windows open here in the office. Now that does make a change."We are promised better weather for next week, or at least that's what she said on the weather last night, but it also showed us with clear sky and sun today and we don't have it, so I'll believe it when I see it!
We are planning a barbecue for Wednesday, that should put the kybosh on the weather if nothing else does!
LOL - oh dear. We will probably have another at the weekend, it's supposed to be nice again. Like you said - We will see!
Sharon wrote: "LOL - oh dear. We will probably have another at the weekend, it's supposed to be nice again. Like you said - We will see!"Fire's lit, soup's made and I just looked out the window and it's spitting with rain.
Sharon wrote: "If we have that yellow thing in the sky, I am sure you will get it soon."Let's hope so, we had it at the beginning of the week but it came with an optional extra, a cold wind bowing up from the Trossachs!
Well I certainly lost a bit of weight with being quite sick, which is not a bad thing, but i now need to start eating food again. been living of water and the blandest, minimal amount of food
Berk I just found the stuff they were trying to pass off as chicken lurking in a congealed lump at the bottom of the cup... I will buy some plain veggie and some tomato soup tomorrow from Aldi, or of course I could make some real soup. I'm on a cake making phase at the moment, I have another birthday cake to make for next Friday for Alain's brother in law. He makes furniture in his spare time and he kindly fitted the doors in the house for free so I thought I'd make him a cake in the shape of a chest of drawers with one drawer open and wonky and have a family of mice climbing out and around it. Lidl sell mice sweets, I will probabl have to buy another packet though because Sophie is partial to eating them!
Sharon wrote: "Well I certainly lost a bit of weight with being quite sick, which is not a bad thing, but i now need to start eating food again. been living of water and the blandest, minimal amount of food"Get yourself some of the Colostrum and get some healthy bacteria inside of you to protect you, and build your immunity back up. Alain's leg has stopped itching since he's been taking them, so hopefully it's doing it's job! Gives you energy and builds muscle and helps weight loss too according to the speil!
Excellent. Will put it on my list. Well I have had a little bit of breakfast this morning and I have quite a lot of energy believe it or not.
http://www.synertekcolostrum.com/inde...Follow the link, and read all about the benefits of taking colostrum.
Tony wrote: "Don't think I'd like taking colostrum. Sounds nasty!"Were you breast fed as a baby Tony? Because if so you have already tried colostrum, its the first milk produced by every mammal. The stuff I take is Bovine Colostrum, it boosts the immune system naturally, no gimmicks, no nasty chemicals. If you have any of the problems on the list I would advise you to give it a try, Krauterhauss sell it. It's where I get mine from, I can give you the information or get them to send you an email-that way we both get 10Euros off!
Yeah I know, it's a thick mucus type liquid which leaks from a woman's nipple after they've had a baby. Good for a baby, just plain weird for an adult!

Good for a baby, just plain weird for an adult!"Trust me if you had the allergy problems and RA you'd want to try it too. Plus it is an essential treatment for cancer, which is the primary reason I bought it, for Alain, and then I read the other diseases it helps, plus it is a better anti ageing factor than any cream available. My family history is also pre-disposed to cancer and my aunt had Alzheimer's! When you add all of that up taking it for me was always going to be a plus! Anyway I remember my grandma telling me of a custard tart they made with first milk which didn't need eggs - she called it beastings, I think it was the country name for Colostrum!
Eva wrote: "Good afternoon everyone!sharon, thanks for the recomendation on the book!"
How's Eva today? Told you I was coming out to play today, Alain just phoned to say he's going to be late as he is waiting for the building supplies to open. And whilst he waits he is going to fetch some wine and food for the baby chicks!
Sharon wrote: "No Probs. Even has chocolate recipies at the end of it."Talking of chocolate, I made white chocolate ganache to ice the cake I made on Sunday, it was so easy. All you need is creme fraiche and white chocolate, you just boil up the cream for a minute and then add the chocolate and beat it with a whisk until it is smooth and shiny and then you put it in the fridge for a few hours to set. So much nicer than using butter cream, I find that too sickly, and I just love white chocolate. You can use milk or plain or even flavoured chocolate if you want!
I am totally useless at remembering passwords, so much so that I changed my Twitter password yesterday and forgot to write it down... Got it in one, I can't remember what it was! Though 1 day has to be a record, even for me!
Sharon wrote: "Maybe it should be along the lines of BLONDE1 lol"Lol, yes I think it should, all I remember is that the computer said it was very strong! Maybe it was weightlifting blonde with lousy memory!
Warmer now I lit the fire, and hungry, I hope Alain isn't long. Better go and put the rice on or he'll complain about his chilli being cold!
Sharon wrote: "You mean his chilli being chilli - LOL Sorry I couldn't help that one"He said I made it too hot, wait till next week and I make my Beef Madras and Chicken Tikka Masala, samosas, and tomato and onion salad with home made mango chutney! Last time I mixed the spices up and the Tikka Masala was hotter than the Madras! Caution blonde in the kitchen!
