Lol.I read anything but started off with horror.
I like poetry that rhymes but struggle to understand poetry that doesn't!
I write anything that comes to mind. So far it has been mainly horror based short stories.
I am writing a post apocalyptic novel currently.
I have two self published pieces for the Kindle. 'The Cloud Diary' is a short story about bereavement which is raising money for charity. 'Hugo - A Quest for King Borin' is a children's medieval adventure story which is around 70 pages long.
We all love to read and write on here so if you ever want a hand with editing or
I suppose it's not that I dislike poetry, it is that I don't understand it when the end of a line doesn't end with a full stop but continues on the next line. I find it hard to read like that.
That is understandable. Take one of your favourite bands. Pull their lyrics up. That is just poetry without the music. See if that helps you. I think you will see the lines don't always end until the following line.
Morning Sharon I made some changes and sent it back part of the bottom of the file you sent me was scrambled and I could not see what the comments where
The sun's shining, actually I'm in a really good mood. Wish I could have asome peace and quiet to write, struggling a lot to sit down.I'm going to buy the guide of writing romance for dummies with money my mum is giving me for my bday, anywho. Better scramble since i need to clean, the joys eh?

my hubby will not be home to very late tonight and I am not handling him being out of town very well
I see what you mean. I get like that when my partner has to go on training courses that take 3 days. It is dreadful.
But when the kids are in bed you can put some music on, turn the wifi off on the laptop and get writing.
My kids r in school right now and after they get home we will do the normal after school stuff. At bed time I will be calling him so the kids can say good night
I was inspired by the poetry of Mikl Paul check it out below. http://www.amazon.com/Dandelions-That...
I picked it up and am going to read and review it. It will be the first poetry book that I will have read.
Sharon wrote: "Hmmm, I will have to try and change your mind about certain poems Tony...."Sorry I'm with Tony on that one, Pam Ayres style yes, stuff that doesn't rhyme, noo... Sorry a day absent but getting Sophie ready for the off proved to be a marathon! First the hairdresser's, to cut off all her long locks, her idea, not mine. It's her hair she decides, visions of my mother taking me to the hairdresser's and chopping off my lovely locks! Then on to the sports shop for the waterproof, then Noz for books and trousers!
This afternoon I packed her case, delivered her to the bus, and waved her goodbye. And then went to the house and made up the last of the kitchen cupboards with Alain, the big larder oven housing unit! All that remains is to fit the doors, worktop, oven, hob and sink and Huston we have a kitchen!
All that remains now is for me to find the kitchen I had previously, because Alain arrived and proudly announced he was displacing my washing machine, my dishwasher and all my stuff around it. It looks like Armageddon in my kitchen! Somewhere under all the merde I have a table, and a kitchen with a sink!
I mostly do outdoor chores involving chopping, lugging, dragging, heaping, and burning wood; lots of logs, branches, limbs, twigs, and brush; good exercise anyway.Inside, I play with my cats, which like to lie on my bed next to me when I write on my laptop. They are black and white spots, short hair. I lift, toss, pet, and kiss them. They scratch, bite, lick, nuzzle, and brush me.
They are warm and soft and stretch when I scratch them under their forelegs.

I have one of those netbooks and because it's meant only for internet; microsoft word doesn't work unless I'm online, and believe me is too easy to look at goodreads or facebook.

Hi John! Sorry I've not introduced myself, not been around much lately.
Not too bad at the moment, at least it is not raining. Getting some writing done finally which is a good thing. How are you?
same here, although the weather is better, but getting somw writig done, maybe I will finish on time, who knows...
Unfortunately only me and Tony turned up this time, but expecting 4-5 at the next one. Need to start small and work up. Everything that is in the newsletter that I sent you.
Glad to see you are all busy writing. The contest for my book has finished and there is a winner. I am afraid it is none of you guys. I have been waiting for ever for more copies from Createspace but they are taking so long to arrive that I think something has gone wrong. It is sunny here but I don't know for how long. I have also been writing but have arrived at that difficult mid point. Heatwave next week. Yipee.
I read the newsletter, you guys really put work into it! well done!!Hey Tarian, did you check out the free webminars I pasted?
After the weekend we are supposed to get summer. I am so fed up with the grey weather. One day last week when the sun came out. I went out and it was striking, everyone was smiling. It is good that you have found time to do some writing. I would have found that so difficult when I was working.
At least you did it, i think if i started writing that late the only thing that wuld show on my page is zzzzzzzzzzzz...
Eva, Sharon put all the work in on the newsletter. I just sat there looking pretty and moaning about poetry ;-)
I used to be an insomniac when I was working but now I can't stay awake. Catching up for lost time. Lol
