I am pleased to say that I'm enjoying the big space in my new flat. Right now living like a gypsy with the lack of furniture until pay day...really happy though

Got another idea for the anthology, just can't get it started.

Not sure yet, will just have to do a bit of word of mouth. I have flyers in the cab offices etc. And they are displaying in the library. So hopefully it will be ok. Even if it is with just the 4 we have 5 via internet so that is a total of 9 in the group altogether.
Who's on the Internet? How are we going to do that?
With a news letter. They can partake in the competitions if they wish, but all get a chance to vote etc ;o)

I have a great competition idea.

Writing a press release is really hard
I don't mind it being hard Trish, but it's just no fun either!

Evening everyone, sorry painting again. Happy birthday Antonia, cool Eva, we have the opposite problem, to much furniture and wondering where to put it, and that's before we move in! I am almost finished painting the kitchen. Lol painting our house is like painting the Forth Bridge, never ending!

Some but I still have issues with my press release writing its like having to write a query letter

God I am so sick of painting! Lol but at least I have some pretty colours my kitchen is 4 different colours I changed my mind about a colour and painted the bottom half of the wall that will be hidden behind the kitchen units a coffee colour. It looked yuk when it was wet so I bought another colour, Marron Glace and did the top half of the wall and a wall next to the door in that, the chimney wall is taupe, a choice made for cleanliness because of the fire. The other walls are a cream - caramel blonde according to chez Dulux! At least Dulux means one coat when it says one coat, and I have only had to buy 1 expensive tub the rest I picked up at 15 Euros each!
I am having a break this weekend, Jo is coming with the boys, not Herve...Here we go again...she said she was worried about us both, me with my jippy tummy and Alain with his scare but I'm reading the in between the lines bit. The bit she didn't say over the phone...
Not a bad price. I went to the show with my friend last week, it was as good, got loads of freebies. Going to a craftshow with mum next Saturday. Her mother's day treat.

I once bought a glass painting set at a craft fair, never used it and in the end I gave it away to a friend who knew someone that painted glass and sold it for charity! At least it went to a good cause! I have been looking for a stencil of horses for Sophie's room, I found antelopes, and zebras but no horses so far.
I will have a look for you at the show. Mum makes cards for all occasions and boxes for christmas. So she will be getting stock and I will be on the look out for some christmas pressents to put away. Early I know, but at shows like that, I have to.

I thought you might have been thinking of rug making! I tried to buy a horse rug kit off Amazon.com at Christmas, it was only 18 dollars and the same thing here was 44 euros! I will get it when we are settled in and show Sophie how to make latch rugs!

@ everyone I am still alive just a variety of different streaks in my hair, ranging from bordeaux red to cream! Pretty cool actually! Better still if I remember to bend away from the wall when reaching for the cloth to wipe up spills instead of into it!

Morning allWeird weather here, yesterday was warm and sunny, a beautiful spring day and today, well, today it's snowing! I kid you not! Fine, powdery snow which is settling on the plants and my Christmas tree in front of the window but not on the ground!

Morning, fine now my house has been restored to peace and tranquillity! Jo and the boys went home yesterday afternoon, and this morning I have to go and buy more white paint! so far the house has imbimbed 70 litres of white paint...thirsty walls and ceilings! And I need to get a few bits for Sophie for England in one weeks time.
@ TarianHappy Birthday for yesterday! Sorry I couldn't get near the machine to log on...but then again everytime I logged on the little monkey called Hugo switched the plug off or re-booted the computer!

Tell me about it! I have a nice red wall in my lounge and today I am going to paint the other walls cream! Well after lunch I am!
I have coffee, ready to face the challenges of the day. (Not sure how long it will last though ;o)
My challenge today is getting Sophie kitted up for England and then finishing the lounge as I am reliably informed I have to start assembling the kitchen units starting with the one for the sink!Talk to you later.

I got some lovely duvet sets from Amazon and they were cheaper then Asda!

Morning veryone! Hey sarah, do you have chinese shops, I mean like pound land but with chinese people working, we have lots here and you find everything cheap as chips.So glad the sun's out, some people are adventures enough to wear short sleeve tshirs! Hey guys , how did the first writing meeting go?
Not too bad. Sorting out the newsletter as we speak. Will be sending it from my writing email address. :o)
