I'll take a look Tarian.Sarah, it is historical fiction. I have never read characters like the characters in these books. They are just so real.

It's minus 2 here now and falling, it hasn't been above freezing all day. I have the fire and the electric heater on it's that cold!

The books called: In The Devil's Own Words.
The blurb was praised on a review site, thanks Sarah. Better get ready for red wine night."
It wasn't much, I just re-arranged what you'd said and flowered it out a little. I'm pleased it got you a good review, we all need help sometimes, with something! And you are most welcome! Enjoy you wine, I am!

Historical is another of my dislikes, but I will read it if the blurb and prologue draw me in. I'm reading a historical novel now, in between editing. Its one of Lesley Pearce's, Remember Me, set in the mid 1700 just before the French Revolution, about the prisoners sent from England to Botany Bay. I've been reading it now for two or three weeks, like I say history isn't my bag. Lol the only historical date I remember is the Battle of Hastings in 1066!
Hey everyone! I know this kind of random, but I'm planning to do a 365 challenge. Yet it's not going to be the average 365 challenge, it's going to be a different challenge everyday. So I'm calling it my challenge challenge!!! You guys are the most creative people I know, so can you guys help me come up with some ideas? I need things that you would challenge someone to do for a day, such as "no talking day" or "don't sleep day" or "imaginary friend day". If you guys could throw me some suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!Thanks!!
http://screen.yahoo.com/husband-gets-...This is so funny! I would have love to have been a dung beetle on the heap when the cheating wife saw her precious car.....

Thank you Tony, I forgot to ask was the review okay? LOL The dog is getting to be quite a diva now he has two reviews under his collar!
Phew, I just had to deregister and uninstall, then re-install my kindle for pc, it kept erasing my latest purchases!Thank heaven for live chat! Without the lovely man from Amazon I would have to have telephoned my son and he would have told me how blonde I am once again! Now I had better start cooking lunch! We had an extra long lie in this morning so breakfast was late!
Morning,We had a snowy weekend, though it didn't settle, there wasn't enough of it. Today the rest of France is having bucket loads and we, like Marseille aren't in the equasion!
Tiling starts this afternoon in the downstairs bathroom!
It was trying to snow at our end, thankfully it never did. But it is still freezing outside, it could may well be on it's way. So much for it nearly being spring!

Sharon wrote: "there are a few dafodills sprouting but they wont last long in this weather."I have hyacinths and tulips poking through, I don't know what happened to the daffs I planted, they mysteriously disappeared!
I will sort bulbs out in the autumn for the new garden, though I will be taking my bulbs from here, and my clematis, and all the fruit trees I planted too. I grew them from pips, 3 apple trees, which should start bearing fruit next year! Not forgetting the other two kiwi plants, my raspberry canes, Alain the rambling rose, and my greenhouse!
Sharon wrote: "I don't blame you at all. Why should someone else get the fruits of your labour - hee hee."Droll, I'm editing, I didn't get anything done yesterday and I have gone over the same piece now five times each time taking bits out and adding bits in, I think it reads better now! I know it will be worth it in the end! I will just be glad when I see the end!
Sharon wrote: "I can understand that. I am trying to work out what to write for the anthology."I have the feeling that I will be out of that one if May is the deadline, in between painting, tiling and editing I won't get much chance to write!
May is the deadline for the first draft. The final deadline is 31st July. But fully understand if you can not be in it.
Sharon wrote: "There is no pressure."Yes I know, that's why I'd rather say no now, and if I find the time I can always fill in a gap somewhere, maybe with a poem or two if not a story.
Yeah I'm editing several things which is taking up all my time and am glad I had a vampire story I never published set in the summer lying around for the past year.
Hi MarkI have something I may be able to adapt, not sure. We are finishing renovations and moving house over the next couple of months.
Sharon wrote: "You are lucky Mark. I will write one from scratch if it kills me - ;o)"I'm sure you'll be able to Sharon, good luck!
Sharon wrote: "You are lucky Mark. I will write one from scratch if it kills me - ;o)"Hey don't forget I have 'Skye' half edited for you, what's a bit more editing between friends! At least I will be well versed in the theory by the time I finish The Menorah Murders!
I know, I was thinking of working on either a follow up to the christmas one, maybe a summer wedding for the Ali and Jack or another one based around a carnival or something. But I will have a think first and see what I come up with.

Sharon wrote: "ok cool."Alain just telephoned to say the wood burner has been installed and we can now light a fire and warm the house properly! This is where we find out if we need a second fire in the kitchen, we have the space and a second chimney so all we need is another fire and the conduit before we block up the space keeping the heat in the house!
I am off to the house now. Talk to you tomorrow!
Sharon wrote: "Thats good to hear."I'm back... The fire's lit, and it's starting to warm the house up, surprising how much heat one of those stoves gives off, in a normal sized living room you would sitting with the window open and all the doors, but because it's open plan, sort of and the stairs are open too the heat will disperse throughout the house. It said it was capable of heating an area 550 sq mts, and Alain has yet to cut the opening for a grill allowing heat from the conduit to pass into the bathroom and the landing!
Sharon wrote: "All sounds good and coming along nicely."Yep still haven't started the tiling, I have been told I have to paint the upstairs bathroom tomorrow. I get the feeling he is scared of me making a good job of the tiling and then having to admit it was me that did it! Either that or he thinks I'll make a pigs ear of it!
At least I will be warm, once the fire gets going of course!
I just got your invitation from Linked in I accepted but I don't think it will go through which is what has happened each time I have accepted both from you and Arthur and I think I know what the problem is, you need to mark either friend then it doesn't ask for an email or use sharalain54@orange.fr for the email!
Oh my god, i've won 100 dollars on amazon vouchers on a writing competition! Here's the link!http://cop-a-squat.com/2013/02/25/and...
Well done Eva. Dinner with friends perhaps. Ineed to get down to writing for awhile. I am finding it hard to fit everything in lately. Between dog and family there never seems much time left. At least I don't have a house to renovate.
