Having a couple of glasses of red tonight weather here is s**t rain and more rain when I dropped off the tiles I had to go into 4 x4 mode or I would have been bogged down in the mud!
Morning all, how is everyone today it's sort of sunny here but cold, no snow as yet, it's forecast so I'm told but what weather reports they were looking at I don't know mine said not for us but Jo gets a sprinkling.
Morning. We have snow :o( And my computer has decided to die on me, well my screen anyway. Looks like the hospital will have to pay for a new one - lol

Did you make it into work? My sister Claire had snow yesterday in Derbyshire and was expecting shed loads overnight! Courtesy of one of Arthur's posts on Twitter I have a wicked idea for a chapter in GOD! Sex and Bubble wrap, the rest I will keep under wraps (pardon the pun) until I work out how it goes!
I have a little synopsis i would like your opinion on, if that is ok. Will send over when i can see my screen.
Sharon wrote: "I have a little synopsis i would like your opinion on, if that is ok. Will send over when i can see my screen."Okay, not a problem I have to go back to Lorient to pick up the last 23 boxes of bathroom tiles this afternoon - all 55 boxes wouldn't fit in the back of the car, too heavy!
I have a new screen (Finally - I only called them as soon as I got in and logged on). Have sent it to your inbox. How many tiles in a box?
Sharon wrote: "I have a new screen (Finally - I only called them as soon as I got in and logged on). Have sent it to your inbox. How many tiles in a box?"15 tiles 25cms x 40cms, pink with a mosaic design in a deeper shade of pink-girly tiles! And a real bargain, 20 Euros for the pallet of 55 boxes!
Sharon wrote: "LOL and where are they for?"The two bathrooms, as Alain said if people don't like our choice they can change them for us if they like at their expense. They are fine by us!
It didn't take them long to fix your screen then! Lol
We have snow at the moment, and it is still falling thick and fast. Thankfully the ground is too wet, so hopefully it wont settle. Other then that, I am fine. How are you?

Hi everyone, We have sunshine today it's colder than last week but not freezing and I am about to go on the tile run again in a few minutes, hopefully this is the last time for a while.
Sharon wrote: "We have snow at the moment, and it is still falling thick and fast. Thankfully the ground is too wet, so hopefully it wont settle. Other then that, I am fine. How are you?"Lol if it snows here it will settle as the ground is relatively dry, still muddy but less squishy underfoot! Right talk to you guys tomorrow 30 square metres of bathroom tiles are calling to me!
Hi all, I am disappointed, there is no snow here. This morning it rained as usual. If you are not working snow is more fun and at least different to the endless downpour.
Thats my moaning over. Onto the good news our lovely Emme sent me an e-mail the other day saying my book should be ready sometime today so i am very excited.

I am in the rainy west, Bristol we rarely get snow. When I lived in Kent we had it almost every year and were frequently sent home from school early. I just love it but it is mostly because of childhood memories, it is not the same as an adult. A bit like christmas full of anticipation but in reality does not live up to expectations.

Don't worry Tarian its raining here too now! In fact I got to Lorient got out of the car to put diesel in the car and pump up my tyres and the heavens opened! It stopped just long enough to unload the tiles and then it started again. If it freezes tonight we'll have a skating rink outside, as it is we could put on a mud wrestling display!
We don't get snow here often either we had five flakes last year whilst the rest of France had loads!

Glad you are safely back with the tiles. I can't wait for the longer days.
Tarian wrote: "Glad you are safely back with the tiles. I can't wait for the longer days."So am I, it was a good job I had the forethought to pump the tyres up too or I may have had a problem as one of them was almost flat as a pancake!

Eva wrote: "Morning! Today it looks like it's going to rain here. Bloody cold, can't wait for the summer."Morning Eva. We had enough of that here yesterday it deliberately waited until I go out the car to pump my tyres up and then the heavens opened. Luckily I had my coat on! Hey have you ever sniffed Calvin Klein's secret Obsession? Its on special offer on amazon I like obsession so I'm sort of thinking it will be very similar anyone know for definite?

To tell you the truth, I've no idea. I seem to like spanish designers, right now I've got Adolfo Dominguez,I don't know if you heard of him.

Nope, but then I rarely go in to the big department stores as there are none nearby and the last perfume I got Alain bought me. He likes my choice which is Obsession by Calvin Klein and he bought me a huge bottle for my birthday and he would be horrified to know he paid over the odds here in the parfumery in town!
do you always wear the same perfume? I like J'adore the christian dior one but it's so expensive. My uncle does voice overs for films an cartoons and he tends to get free perfumes and aftershaves, so haven't had to buy any in a while...
Eva wrote: "do you always wear the same perfume? I like J'adore the christian dior one but it's so expensive. Hows TBL going?
Eva wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "do you always wear the same perfume? I like J'adore the christian dior one but it's so expensive. I just read the report on Secret Obsession, apparently it's more flowery than Obsession it is an attempt to bring the carnal desires you're supposed to experience with Obsession into the 21st century! Duh this is my perfume they're calling lustful! The best thing is I know it suits my skin because after an hour I can't smell it at all! I was told that is how you tell if your perfume is the right one for you!
Sharon wrote: "Morning all, Dry at the moment but we are due more snow in Essex :o("
Morning, Dry and sunny here, not a cloud in the sky! Alain has hurt his shoulder and has gone to the Doctors' this morning. I just bought my baby sister her 40th birthday pressie- Calvin Kleins Secret Obsession from Amazon - a huge 100ml bottle for just £17.11!
Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "do you always wear the same perfume? I like J'adore the christian dior one but it's so expensive. My uncle does voice overs for films an cartoons and he tends ..."that's right, my mum always says that
Wow that is cheap. I have a nice quiet morning today, will get busier this afternoon :o( But hey ho, I feel like being naughty ;o)

Maybe it's cheap because it's a promotion bringing ut the smells for the summer
Eva wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "do you always wear the same perfume? I like J'adore the christian dior one but it's so expensive. Blimey look at the time-I'd better get a wriggle on and get a shower and wash up or the girls will be here for lunch before I know it. Last day today I decided to put Sophie back into the cantine, it won't go down well with the other girls mum but life's tough!
It's costing me too much, in both time and money and my car is making funny noises, the fan belt is squealing so I am going to the garage this afternoon to get it looked at, and if it's the timing belt I'm stuffed- the last time it cost me alost 700 Euros and I don't have that kind of money lying around! So I will have the perfect excuse my car is unreliable Sophie is back in the cantine plus if I don't start the painting and tiling at the new house we will never move in!
Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "do you always wear the same perfume? I like J'adore the christian dior one but it's so expensive. My uncle does voice overs for films..."when do you think you'll be moving in?
Sharon wrote: "Wow that is cheap. With the divorce and everything!
