Oh dear, what has said doggie been eating?"

Nah she didn't reply to the last one either but I know if I text her she will ring immediately and I really can't be arsed to talk to her.

And said doggie is a gannet and will eat anything that isn't nailed or stuck down! He has freshly cooked beef as does Eclair almost every day, I keep a couple of tins of dogfood in for emergency and I have only the best quality dog biscuits. So not a clue what's making him stinky!

I think a second cup of coffee is called for before I trawl the net looking for recipes for crab meat - I took a pack of crab claws from the freezer Monday and they were still frozen yesterday I put them in the fridge to defrost - I never take chances with seafood.

I'm thinking crab cakes though I would love to make crab soup but I think it would be only me eating it which would be a waste though saying that I think mother would join me so I'll think about it.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments You will be pleased to hear I have opened HOD for the first time in ages and done a little editing and arranging ready to hopefully start work on it tomorrow maybe.

I downloaded a new hypnosis programme yesterday for 1 dollar end writers block the sale has been extended for today too, so if there were programmes you have been hanging your nose over now is the time to buy - all the programmes are available for a dollar each!

I will be listening to it later when the house is quiet and I am on my own and hopefully it will help motivate me to finishing HOD!

I'm taking Hod to the end first then I'll think about GOD, maybe that will be one I start in the new house. I promised I would tile the bathrooms where needed and paint the walls. I have some wicked stencils for the walls - French wallpaper is naff so stencilling is the best option and I got the paints and the stencils at knockdown Noz prices.

If I had ShazzyLoulou's talent I would paint a mural but I don't - so not a chance of that one.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning

Still coughing, I am so fed up of this! Sophie is better today, she started itching last night and had a rash I wonder if she is allergic to crabsticks - her father was allergic to crayfish. I am not going to buy any more not worth taking the risk.

I had a reply from the Douane they blame the delivery agents so I contacted Amazon again and they are refunding my money in full.

Lol watch the doll turn up now!

message 7406: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning,

If the doll turns up, sophie gets a free crimbo present - lol

Yes, it will make up for the Morgan doll whose leg fell off 4 days after Christmas and because I left the packaging in Normandy the shop won't accept responsibility nor will they refund my money! Okay so it was only 10 Euros but Sophie is once again disappointed! It cost me a new Barbie on Monday! Alain say's I'm to soft with her! Says he who when she goes with him to the bar where they sell lottery tickets she always comes back with the latest Horsey magazine at 5 Euros whereas I always say no to that.

It's a pity they didn't let you have the time off too! Did you take a look at the hypnosis sale?

I still haven't listened to unlocking writers block yet, it's hard to concentrate on stuff when you're coughing your socks off! I read through the last few chapters of HOD to re acquaint myself with any loose ends I need to tie up. I re worded bits but on the whole I was pleased with what I read, and surprised too its pretty good even though I say so myself!

Jo said two people have read TBL and loved it and are hanging in mid air wanting to know what happens next. Jo told them I had written the sequel.... I started it and then decided to wait and see if people liked the first before wasting my time with a sequel...

Typical, I have all these ideas and now I don't know which to do first.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "Write what you are edging to write and where you feel your heart leading you to."

Lol well that would be all of them then! Though people who have read TBL could pick up Take 3 Blondes and recognise some of the charactersfrom TBL and the same for GOD Arabella, Sammi, Erika and Serena all have their arts to play in GOD. I'm working on the same principals as Jilly Cooper used with her books.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "Sounds like you are both as bad as one another - lol"

Yes Sophie has the measure of both of us and what mummy says no to my soon to be new daddy won't! Pity she doesn't have a grandma then she would always get what she wanted because Grandma never says no! As Leon has worked out - Jo said no to sweets so Grandma bought him some -- bad grandma! I bought him some mice from lidle and they gave me an idea for a birthday cake for him hickory dickory dock cake!

message 7416: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) How cool. My nan used to have this plate which said, if mother says no ask grandma! So perfect for you - lol

I'm an independant 100% of the time I allow myself what I want! Mum died when Christopher was 10 and Dad died just before we moved to France so I indulge myself now and Sophie too. Life's too short! La Poste has just arrived with Sophies Trionimos from Jo and Herve. It was cheaper to buy them in England and pay the postage than buy them here.

Still no sign of Cloetta!

Morning

Grey and miserable here again today but at least for now its dry though the weather forecast is for rain later.

Still coughing but feeling a bit better at least I got a bit of sleep last night. How's Monster feeling today?

message 7422: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) He still feels and looks like crap. Just not getting any better at the moment. At least it is quite dry here at the moment.

message 7423: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "He still feels and looks like crap. Just not getting any better at the moment. At least it is quite dry here at the moment."

Has he got the flu or Sophie's problems? Because it could be food poisoning if its not settling down, more than likely Salmonella try giving him lots of Cranberry juice and get some Cranberry capsules if that's the problem.

If not Goji, or Acerola or Pomegranate extract - anti-oxidants all high in vitamin C.

message 7424: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) No it is definitely not food poisoning. It is that norvo virus that has been going around, mixed with the flu.

message 7425: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "No it is definitely not food poisoning. It is that norvo virus that has been going around, mixed with the flu."

Then definitely get him to try the cranberry juice and give him one of the others for a month at least to build his resistance up.

Cranberry destroys e-coli bacteria and Salmonella bacteria too so who is to say it won't work on the Norvo virus. It certainly won't do him any harm to try it.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Sharon wrote: "I am popping to boots at lunchtime anyway so can pick up some bits then."

Do they have a health foods bit in boots? If he has spasms passiflora is good at calming muscle spasms, caused from coughing and retching and IBS too. It will relax him so he can get a good nights sleep too.

If I were you I would take the cranberry tablets as a form of prevention against coming down with the bug!

I just heard from my friend in Hong Kong - he had curried mince pies now that doesn't appeal or make me want to rush out and buy them!

Though he wants the recipe for the stuffed cupcakes, he so wants to try those!

I would think it meant someone who was standing up for their rights to have cosmetic surgery, to do with their body as they wished! The word suffrage meaning the right to vote.

And the two Chick lits one is take three blondes which the first few chapters are on my writing and Almost perfect which is the second book in the trilogy, the first being The Thin Blue Line which takes up the story with Daniel and Sarah jetting off to a new life in America, followed closely by Robert Martin in disguise as a catholic priest Father Raoul Martinez he was the baddie in TBL who convinced Daniel he was his real father, and who kidnapped Jean Marie.

Is she allergic to make up or just against the use of make up because of the testing on animals or what?

Lol I just googled it and got this response - an arrogant moaning minnie! Apparently some woman journalist called the poor girl who got sacked from Harrods for not wearing make-up an 'arrogant moaning minnie' and another journalist took umbridge because she thought people had the right to choose what they slapped on their skin not their bosses!

They would have no hope with me I can't wear make-up as I am allergic to it - within minutes I start itching and rub the stuff around my face leaving me looking like a human Panda!

So I think you will have to refer to her maybe as an activist or just use the Human Panda quote if you want.

And as soon as I feel a bit better and Sophie is back at school I will start the ball rolling to put it onto Createspace - I want to do a re-read because jo found a couple of printing errors and I want to make sure they aren't ones I missed and add a prologue and sort out a new cover -

Lets hope so, did you get him some cranberry juice? It is noted that testing on humans is required in one report but that in primates cranberry juice produces antiviral properties when ingested by monkeys with a stomach virus! I take it these are lab animals.

I tried it on Sophie and it worked and I have tried it too and felt better.

It was for a woman (a mum) that doesn't have time for make up or can't be bothered.

Createspace is for paperbacks, if you are going to get an ebook I heard that smashwords is much easier to formate than KDP (kindle) appart that if you publish through smashwords, it's more than just kindle but for all the other ebooks. I've downloaded a book with instructions, I'll send it to you.

message 7450: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi everyone,a new year and a new start. Yesterday i went to Longleat and had a grest day. The lions had cubs. I have never seen so much action from big cats. They put on such a show we watched for ages. One of the female lions climbed a tree and hung about in the branches. A bit worrying as I always thought that if i came accross a lion i would climb the nearest tree. The second pack was just play fighting all over the place.

Whilst there i realised I had made a mistake in the book that Emme is editing. In the book i mention snowy owls flying from a barn. This was wrong it would have been barn owls. I had taken the event from a real incident and because they were white had assumed they were snowy owls. It's so easy to get small details wrong when writing.

From Monday I plan to get back to some serious writing, or at least some writing. gonna have some xxx in next book, should be fun.

What are everyone elses plans for 2013?

As of Monday i am going to get back to some serious writing
