Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning All,

This blonde has only gone and left her bloomin purse at home today. What an idiot.

message 7103: by [deleted user] (new)

Morning all, I hate ironing i only do it on special occasions. Such a big waste of time.

Sarah, how had you imagined me looking? I don't look quite like that now that picture was taken on holiday during better times. I haven't been to the hair dressers for over a year my hair has grown really long for a 52 year old and I look like a witch.

Hope you weren't planning on shopping Sharon. I did something terrible yesterday. In the morning my son took some chicken out of the freezer and said it was out of date and that i should give it to the dog. He went to work and later in the day i saw some chicken defrosting on the work top and as i had to give dog some worming pills thought it would be ideal. I assumed it was the out of date chicken so I cooked it up and the dog thought it was Christmas.

At 11pm my son comes home from work, saying how he is looking forward to making and eating a chicken curry. OMG, the penny dropped. i felt so bad. Why am i so dumb, I am always doing stupid things?

Sharon love your poems. I love poetry. I shall finish rest of book today and write other reviews.

Oh dear, that's not good other than a blonde moment how are you today? How's your weather ours is horrible again, wet and incredibly windy today, today we are on orange alert for high winds and thunder storms... Maybe the end of the world really is nigh!

In my head you were blonde, with your hair neatly bobbed, weird the tricks your mind plays.

Lol your son didn't cook the dogs chicken and eat it by any chance did he? That would have made me laugh it wouldn't have hurt him if he had, curry spices kill bacteria dead.

Just put it down to your inner blonde Tarian, I do, like Bambi impressions, inner blonde! I'm not suffering any ill effects of my acrobatics, my neck was hurting Wednesday night before I fell, I ran out of my Chondroitin and Glucosamine tablets and a week without them shows you just how much good they actually do. They arrived in the post yesterday so I should be feeling better by Monday!

Yep here too, I just had to go outside and rescue the plastic covering from the wood store before it took off down the field or blew onto a passing car causing them to crash! I am now soaked through, I think I prefer the ice!

It is horrible here. It looks like it is nearly time to go home but it is only 1.45pm. Just made a coffee to try and wake me up a bit.

You too! I am in hedgehog mode, hibernating from the nasty weather though it has at least stopped raining and the sky is blue in places!

I now have to go out into the cold and pick up some wood for the fire from Alain's we purposely left all the wood there so we wouldn't have to transport it from here to there!

I have just come back from wood gathering and stacking and visiting the new house. Its the first time I've seen it with real rooms and doors instead of one big expanse. Lol still haven't seen upstairs yet though if the tiling in the lounge is completed by the 15th January the nice man will come and bring the stairs so I can finally see upstairs.

Everyone kept saying the bedroom downstairs was tiny, and the bathroom would be a nightmare to get in and out but they aren't at all. Next time I go I will be sure to take my camera, I nearly picked it up and put it in the car!

My kitchen is huge even with the walk in pantry/larder/cave. The room the ironing board and stuff like that lives as well as the freezer!

Fat chance of that Alain had me humping wood about, that's the only thing wrong with wood fires - they need wood in order to heat the house! It's a green fuel, but wood is sustainable they coppice trees to encourage them to grow again. And yes if we have a cold evening when you're here we'll light the fire - they fascinate people, they did me when I first moved to France - There's just something about a real fire, apart from the mess they make even though they are behind glass! You still have to clean them out and fetch the wood from outside in the rain and snow at times!

message 7126: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Excellent, but I am hoping we wont need the fire and the weather will be lovely ;o)

Brittany is apt to be like England, contrary, we can have beautiful weather in March April and May and then it goes downhill. Who knows let's keep everything crossed because it is a beautiful part of France with beautiful sandy beaches and the Atlantic rolling in and on the other side La Manche the English Channel. If monst wants to try his hand at surfing there are surf schools on the beach I frequent, and we just have to visit a restaurant au bord de la mer and have moules frites! If of course you like mussells!

I am making a gift basket for my daughter she wants to crochet so the basket will have yarn and a hook(all of which I have already so it will only cost the price of a lidded basket)

My son is also getting a scarf like daddy

Not a chance, I don't eat pond life myself - Alain doesn't like them either - though he has eaten frogs legs and said they were nice, I have cooked them but decided against trying them.

Nice. I am making a replica of Charlize Theron's dress on the advert for the perfume J'Adore by Christian Dior for Sophie. She saw a photo of it in a magazine and said make Barbie a dress like that mum please!

How can you resist a request like that!

I am afraid i am not neat and tidy at all the exact opposite. My hair colour is normally out of a bottle but i was naturally dark. However, i do have a blonde brain, ( no offence to blonde people just sounds better than other words i could use.)

I don't know what happened to the old chicken but the dog and I are in the dog house.

The weather here is terrible. I have been out but now i am hibernating. It has been like night all day.

No me neither, the French have a word for messy that I love - bordelique! If I was organised I'd be dangerous and I have an inner blonde too and I am also a natural brunette!

I'd find it and cook him a blooming curry with it- fancy putting you in the dog house, he'll be more careful next time!

Kids eh! Yeah it's raining here again too!
