I haven't said it's true and I used a pen name to protect people. I dressed it up in a story because i found it too hard to write as me, so I created Rosie. If you message me your email I will send it to you and I know everyone is busy at the moment so I won have any expectations.

My partner and i drove down to the south of France a couple of times we took the toll roads there but went for the cheaper option on the way back and found ourselves climbing higher and higher up into the alps in the dark. The whole journey was agony. When I am rich I will buy a you guys a plane ticket but then we will probably be too old.

I think so, you could the last time I visited which was 6 years ago! But that doesn't come with the option of the tasting of as many wines as you want!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Ah I see - always a good option.

I have to go shopping soon and it is so cold here today and my house is warm and cosy. I have managed to resist any more camping.

Darkangel I haven't done any writing for ages. Demands from family are so high this time of year and friends all want to meet up which is great but I will look forward to be able to get back to it.

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I certainly need to get back in the swing of things. Writing seems a distant memory to me at the moment. Maybe I can get some inspiration over the christmas period.

Yay for discount stuff:)
I just downloaded your book, now this is not my usual genre but happy to give it a look over as willing to support a fellow author. I don't review on Amazon but I review here. Just because it is not something I would normally look at doesn't mean I won't like it and give it a fair assessment. I shared it on my facebook page and pinterest too.

Hi Alexandra, It was my very first book I think I have moved on since then but I would like to see it gain some health as it was the first born. As I pointed out earlier today, I plan to seperate myself from my early novels and start afresh under my real name, now I know the direction that i truly want to go in. I suppose they were books i had to write now i am writing in the genre I really enjoy. So please don't judge me too much on those early efforts. Thanks for your interest though, it is really appreciated.

I live in Hartcliffe. Where abouts do you live?

Yep me too, I find some real bargains in our Noz at times, I got a super winter coat for my son in law Atlas for men its Canadian, really heavy, windproof and waterproof and warm and I paid just under 13 Euros which is about £11! Should keep the Normandy snow, fog, rain and ice at bay this winter. I also picked up the sparkly top which was 3,95 a silky gold scarf for jazzing up a black coat for 1.50 for my boyfriends mother and a cactus (flowering not spikey)she stopped the hate campaign a couple of years ago. Well I took her baby from the nest, albeit that he was 43 at the time, but these French mothers are possessive to say the least and I was ENGLISH! Which for some reason is a crime in itself!
I'm going to buy her some perfume too to wear when she goes out dancing on Sunday afternoons on the razzle at 81 years old!

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning Sharon

Thank goodness it's Friday!I can have a lie in tomorrow providing Alain doesn't wake me up with his blooming alarm at 7 to go hunting at 9!

I have an easy lunch today soup, raclette, and a frozen dessert I found the other day when I was scouring the freezer for a chicken and all I could find was pheasant, Guinea fowl and wild girolle mushrooms, 12 bags of them! They sell for about 15 Euros a kilo mine came direct from the woods! Trouble is they take up a lot of room!

When I looked on Amazon for the waffle machine I found a couple of raclette machines so people do use them in England! It makes for an easy winter supper party all you need are jacket potatoes or potato waffles a tray of cooked meats, ham, garlic sausage, salami, Pancetta, anything along those lines, tomatoes, eggs, mushrooms, gherkins, tiger prawns if you want. The idea is that you cook your meat on the grill on top and melt your cheese slices (emmental ready prepared raclette cheese) in the special pans then you cut open your spud pour melted cheese over it and eat it with whatever meat and veg you have grilled!

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning,

It is horrible and wet here today but icy cold. At least I wasn't stranded on a train this morning. The tops sound lovely, would like to see a pic please if you can.

Okay will do that now, It is mixed here today at the moment we have blue sky and sunshine but an hour ago it was grey wet and windy, not too cold though which is good for the cement! It doesn't set well in very cold weather.

I changed my mind over lunch, and I have Rabbit in Cider cooking in the oven, I am going to do egg mayonnaise with a piemontaise salad and ham and jambon cru and tomato for starter. And I cheated with dessert I found an opera chocolate/coffee gateaux in the freezer that needed eating, so potatoes are peeled ready to cook, veg is ready the table is clean and ready to set I just have to mop the floor where the dogs have been in and out and hoover another ton of dog hairs up and I'm ready.

I've told a few people on my facebook page about the anthology and some of my so called friends haven't said anything. Hi everyone, I had the same Eva. They were all interested in my first book but since then they completely ignored the others. I am not surprised due to the nature of my first book. I also think those closest to you find it hard to relate to that facet of your personality.I have accepted that and don't talk much about my writing with them only with other writers.

People are fragile creatures and i think jealousy does play a part. Throughout, my life I have had people act like they are jealous of me but if they had walked in my shoes they wouldn't have swapped their lives for mine anything.

I believe it is a road to trouble and heart ache to compare yourself to others. We are all so different if people look deep enough. All success should be cellerbrated. I am proud of your achievments even though i haven't got the book yet, I know the effort put in. Also loosing 3 stone, you should be really proud achievments like that are very important because of the chain affect, it means your whole family will benefit from the example of your strength and improve quality of life.

I must get back to writing soon or i am going to bore you all. Keep positive Eva, ignore doubters, we are all rejoycing.

Yes Eva take no notice of them they are just green with envy and well done with Slimming World it worked for me when I did it but when I started eating normally it all went back on again plus some! Such is life I suppose which is why I said sod it if people don't like what they see they aren't obliged to look!

I am still in my dressing gown and they will be over soon, I had better get a move on. Friday night is red wine night too. Eldest son might pop over and see new front room, so i think i have a good weekend in store.

Well said Tarian, I tend not to talk to so called friends about my books now, I get the feeling they laugh at me behind my back, another sign of jealousy. If they have any comments to make they can do so to my face or not at all.

I am proud of me, Alain is proud of me my daughters are proud of me and my baby sister too not so baby now she's 40 in January!

No sorry I forgot, I downloaded the book ready to read and hopefully this weekend I will be able persuade my computer to download my kindle onto my tablet.

Enjoy your walk and don't forget to ask for a good bottle of wine tonight, Blossom Hill red I bought a nice one from Lidl yesterday a Cimarosa South african pinotage- it is gorgeous reminded me of the blossom hill red - a snip at 2.11 E! Have a look in your lidl and if they have it buy it the chardonnay and the rose too!

Partner, loves his food and is a little big, I think cuddly. I worry about his health but i deal with it by getting him active with things he enjoys, so at least he is fit and big. it is health thats important and being too thin is probably worst. At least if we are on a boat and capsize we wont die of hyperthermia.

Thanks Sarah, no worries. That coat sounds like such a bargain. I love bargains. I bought the girls two bags off 'Woucher', thought they were a real bargain but haven't heard a thing.

I shall try that wine. i do like my red wine.

St Annes Park:)

Don't worry people write in a number of genres it takes a lot for me to think I would never read another book by an author especially in a diffferent genre.
As I said it isn't really my usual thing but happy to take a look. Since joining GR I have started reading a wider field:)

First books are often not the best anyway, but yes keep writing! Writing is great:)

I tend not to judge people on past lives, sometime people do things which can't be helped or with reasons others simply don't understand. Unless people are rude, unkind or simply wilfully idiotic I tend to live and let live.

You should be proud to have published a book, ok it might not be to everyone's taste but nor is mine, or indeed any book. If they don't like it they don't like it, their loss. They certainly shouldn't shouldn't judge you on it.

I agree though, people do get jealous or don't understand. That says a lot about them, real friends will support you even IF they don't understand or agree. My partner doesn't really read my books, that is fine he supports me in other ways and we like different things.

I would rather someone read my book and be honest than pretend they liked it if they didn't.

Oh and well done Eva! I admire anyone who has the willpower to diet and lose weight. I certainly don't and I am rather over fond of cake:)
