It was like that last night at home, my cats were soaked but the would insist on going out at 2 in the morning. Came in like drowned rats this morning and now all cuddled up on the sofa sleeping. Hmmm, send me that recipe please, if you can.

If you can't find it I'll email it to you!
Sharon wrote: "Found it. That looks yummy."Yep I thought so too, I wonder if Trisha braved it and made it for Thanksgiving instead of her fruit salad - if it had been me I would have made what I wanted too not what the dragon queen told me too, how about you?
Lol I was once told we were making tomato soup in cookery class, no one in our house liked tomato soup except me so I took the ingredients to make a victoria sandwich along with another girl whose mother agreed it was a waste of money when Heinz made it so much better!
She chucked us out of the class and sent us next door to help the remedial class and the teacher there agreed with us and told us to make the cake and leave her a piece on her desk!
LOL, how funny. Yes I agree with you, I would have made something else too. I might do some baking at the weekend, see what mood I am in first ;o)
Sharon wrote: "LOL, how funny. Yes I agree with you, I would have made something else too. Mum and dad liked those so after the tomato soup incident she gave up on trying to inflict her recipes on us and let us do what we liked.
I thought about her back in Normandy when I was making the last of the 12 dozen cornish pasties, chicken and mushroom pasties and steak and kidney pasties. How wrong could she be the market trader I made them for sold out the same day and I had too make 20 dozen the week after! I was registered to work and sold them to him for 1.10E what he sold them for was his business I made a decent profit that was all I was concerned with! He had me pickling onions making chutneys and cakes, the best produce he'd had on his mobile shop in years!
Sharon wrote: "I will be pickling onions this weekend."Boohoo! I hate pickling onions! Though love red cabbage cos that don't make me cry!
Just ordered spiderman suit from Amazon france and a story book for Leon have been everywhere trying to find one without sucess Amazon was the last resort!
Sharon wrote: "Amazon, are very good for things like that."Yep and crafty too I ordered the costume and I was 10 centimes short of the free delivery price so I ordered the book at 1.99 and got my free delivery at a price! though I think I came off better as I paid 1.99 for the book and the delivery would have been at leat 3 Euros!
Sharon wrote: "That is even better then."Yes, just had chilli con carne for lunch that warmed me up all over, not too hot or Alain would have self imploded. The French aren't as acclimatised to spices as we English!
Though if it's too hot all you taste is the heat and that spoils the nice flavours of the meat and peppers. Lol he hates peppers and I always put them in I think its because mother says they're not nice he assumed the same. He must be getting used to them now cos he's stopped picking them out!
Sharon wrote: "LOL he is worse then a child"Yep, Sophie loves chilli weird child she got a liking for it as a toddler! One evening we were eating chilli on the deck Sophie had her supper earlier and was in her jamas she loved rice and was eating my rice unfortunately the last forkful had some of the sauce on a few of the grains, she drank a whole cup of juice but still came back for more rice!
Sharon wrote: "I suppose that is a good way to start the taste buds off."yes even if it was un-intentional!
I really should be doing something, but I can't be bothered, I know I'll send you chapter 38!
Sharon wrote: "Ohhhh now that was cliff hanger stuff."Ahh now you know who is hanging in the balance do I send Antoine on his way to join Annie and the ghosts or do I take him towards the light and have them tell him it's not his time and that he has to go back.
If he goes back will he be able to function as he did before or will he be a cabbage? And what of Charlene and Richard he is on his way to rescue her and bring her home where he says she belongs but will she go?
Sharon wrote: "Don't ask me all those questions, knowing full well you wont give me the answers! So not fair ;o)"Sorry but that's what's going around in my head at the moment I may write two options and try them both on you for size!
Ureka I finally managed to switch the wifi on to the tablet it seems I achieve one thing per day! I have put the securite key into the damn thing so many times I was almost getting to the pint of throwing through the window and suddenly it works. I even aske Sophie to read me back the security key to make sure the old eyes were playing tricks on me but no I had the right key no. I just hadn't asked it to save the details! Technology is a pain in the bum at times!
Hi all, Long day yesterday getting sofa but it is here and looks lovely. Our dog Cas is not aloud on the furniture any more and she hasn't even tried. Dogs are so clever.
The next problem has been a leaky roof. My partner is up in the loft as I write drilling away, doing emergency repairs. I haven't done any writing today as I have been too busy looking at pipes in B&Q.
Glad to hear you have sorted out the wi-fi on your tablet. I can't wait for my kindle at christmas.
I will have to go and make interested sounds in a minute and pretend I understand when my partner explains his clever repairs.
I love hot spicey food, especially chilies, I put it in nearly everything. Salmon tonight, yum, yum.

Yay I tried about 10 times before the bugger would accept the same security code. Glad to hear your sofa arrived safely our dogs won't be allowed on the furniture in the new house I am re-upholstering when we move and the lounge will be off limits to the dogs child gate in between the kitchen and lounge they will have their own special dog sofa!
I haven't transferred my kindle to my tablet yet, horse riding today for Sophie and a competition tomorrow so busy busy!
Love salmon have yummy recipes for salmon if you're interested! I lov e spicy food too, chilli, curry you name it I make it!
Night night Tarian talk tomorrow!
I would love your Salmon recipie, I also like mackrel and all other fish. I love curry the hotter the better. A good hot curry should not drown out flavour. I have had them hot but still able to pick out the individual flavours.
My dog has been spoilt but no more, strict rules are now in place. The problem is when we are around she knows the rules but when our backs are turned who knows.
I hope Sophie has a good time riding and does well in her competition. Animals and children keep you so busy. I used to ride my friend's horse but he died unexpectedly, he was such a lovely horse.
Leak is fixed for now so all is good.
Have a lovely day Sarah.

Sophie won her competition a clear round only one of 7 other children, she is a happy bunny she has won a days riding course and brushes!
Yes you never know what the dog will get up to when you're not there will you! In the new house ours will be confined to the kitchen and their settee a special pet bed each and when we eventually have a conservatory they will be confined to there in the summer.
Glad your leak is fixed. It was blooming windy here last night 120 kms winds! Blew the fence down again!
Hot, the fire has a mind of its own with all the wind and is blazing away and I have lunch cooking at the other end of the kitchen. Couscous today I was tempted to give the girls burger, chips and macedoine veggies but its blooming cold out there and I know Victorine doesn't get much chance at eating veggies and decent meat and stuff so I decided to give them a good hot rib sticking meal instead!Sophies competition went well yesterday she came first, the only clear round out of 7 children, I was really proud of her, frozen solid but proud none the less. And she didnt't let it go to her head, I said if she kept her mind on the job in hand she had a good chance of winning and she said it was the participating not the winning that counted. Which is something I have tried to instill in her when we play board games, that it's okay to come second or even last as long as you tried your very best.
Alexandra wrote: "Going to rain here tomorrow again, joy"Sorry for you Alexandra it's lovely here today, blue sky, sunshine and a wind that could cut you in two!
Well done to Sophie. It was absolutely pouring down when I left for work this morning. Thankfully had stopped by the time I got here.
Yep well done Sophie, I made a good choice letting her go for lessons, her school work has improved bizarrely enough she has had the best marks ever this term, just the maths we have to work on. More so get her to read the instructions properly than anything she sees plus where there's a minus and gets the wrong results! Trying to rush it we think!Yes it poured it down most of the night here too! I think it rained itself out!
Sharon wrote: "I know it will just start to rain, as I get off the train and have to walk up the hill!"Or as I get out the car and slide down the drive to the front door! I has gone very grey all of a sudden. The couscous went down well at lunch that's the two girls set up for the afternoon!
Sharon wrote: "I am having a nice warming pasta dish. Just what the doctor ordered ;o)"Definitely a day for something warm, it can't make it's mind up what to do here must brave the cold and fetch some wood! Lol its about 10 ft from the door a quick dash is all it takes preferably before the fire goes out!
Sharon wrote: "It is so dark outside, looks like it is hometime already ;o)(Well I can hope can't I?)"
Yep they can't take hope away, it's bright and sunny again here. Leon's Spiderman suit has arrived this lunchtime I have almost got all the bits I needed to get just the adults more or less another trip to Noz is in order for the last of the childrens things and then Kiabi for Jo and Decathlon for Herve and Alain!
I told Alain I would like a new office chair - one with metal feet because the plastic ones only last a few months before one of the struts breaks! That's 3 chairs we have gone through Sophie and I!
Sharon wrote: "Oh dear, that is not good. Is Alain getting it for you?"Not sure, knowing what a cheapskate he is he'll make me wait until after Christmas to see if it's in the sale!
Sharon wrote: "That is so not fair. So how are you finding your tablet?"Its good I still have to try the transfer of books from my kindle to it that should be fun! the MP 3 player is still empty I have never been able to get the transfer to work so I may just order some new books for the new tablet! FOC of course!
Well I just tried to download the Kindle app to the tablet didn't work it couldn't download the drivers. I will try again tomorrow in the morning. Who knows I may be less blonde in the mornings!
Hi Everyone...I am relatively new to this group and have got an idea for a story. It would be great if we form a team and write it together (only if you guys feel the idea is good or can be built upon). Please follow the link below :http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
PS: English is not my first language, so apologies for any grammatical errors.
Morning, or rather should I say afternoon, late start this morning grey and miserable and looks like rain lol we may even get snow by the weekend! I'll believe that when I see it, last year the whole of France around us got shedloads and all we got was four flakes!Boohoo it's the only time of the year I get to play with my car in the snow! What good is a 4 wheel drive without shedloads of snow?
