It's not bad, I do get spoilt at Christmas from them, but can be very tiring. Some days I am not off the phone.
Darkangel wrote: "LOL"I thought it was funny for a while too, then it got very boring being plied with drinks and having my hand and various bits stroked sympathetically!
I sunk as low as I could go at Jo and Herve's engagement party everyone was in a couple except me there was poor lonely me being hit on by all Herve's drunk friends, married men out to score. I went and sat in the car at one point and cried - Jo made me go back to the party. The next day I took my step daughter to the airport and whilst waving goodbye from the restaurant I got waved at and kisses blown from the tarmac from one of the airport workers. It did wonders for my self esteem I can tell you that night I got the newspaper out and answered some lonely hearts ads, boy did that open my eyes. One minger after the other I almost packed up and went back to England!

I miss work for the company, but that's all, I have never missed the work, the money maybe but never the work!
Suns back, got me worried there, cos I put my flippers in the wash they were covered in mud!
I know how that feels. When I was single (out of choice) all my friends were in couples and it felt uncomfortable everytime they asked me out with them, it felt like it was out of sympathy, but I didn't want to be in a relationship. They couldn't understand that, then I went and met Monst. Now I am in a relationship and they are all single. Oh how they have changed!!!

A friends husband once propositioned two of us, my friend who had been duped into divorcing her husband and parting with a lot of money be a coniving Frenchman and myself sat having a hot chocolate in the bar when he waltzed up to our table and asked us if we were up for a threesome!
We were gobsmacked, his wife was a nice person who didn't deserve to be married to a w****r like him, he even used the my wife doesn't understand my needs chat up line.
We both told him, thanks, but no thanks and that his wife understood him perfectly and that's why she slept in another room. I told him if I was married to him I'd go so far as to sleep in another country!
My son is talking about G4 he always has to have the latest gadgets. I like gadgets too but i get the bits they can't sell to their mates.
Sarah, hop the channel and come for to our girlie night and Darkangel the rain is stopping here and going over your way, so best go west. We will probably bebadly thought of by the end of the night we are very loud and talk over each other and laugh a lot. They are really good people, I know you would both like them. All as mad as hatters.
My partner often works deep into the night doing his work emails but if he isn't on the computer but I am he looks over and raises his eyebrows. It really annoys me.
It is strange how the most unatractive men think you are desperate for them like we have no minds to discriminate.
Still haven't started writing yet and I am on the verge of giving myself the sack without a golden hand shake.
Speak to you lovely people later.

I wish I could and if I was nearer the port I would probably do the trip once a month but the nearest port to me is St Malo about 100 miles away and the dearest to sail from via Jersey I will be going over to Jersey next year after Christmas to fetch the paint, it's cheaper to go there and pay the ferry than buy it here!
The ugly ones haven't looked in the mirror lately, at our age we are supposed to be grateful for anything not discriminate! I upset the apple cart and went off with a man 8 years my junior!
Darkangel wrote: "Morning all,Its so wet and horrible today."

Oh god yes I had to bale our GF flat out one night after torrential rain. I woke in the night and headed for the bathroom to be confronted by water rushing in under the front door! Sort of woke me up very quickly. Fingers crossed your flat is okay or you have new for old insurance!
I have my new toy on charge ready to play with later and by some miracle the instructions are also in English- yay there is a god! Makes working with it so much easier but it has been translated from Japanese I think - badly and it is quite funny in places!Sophie is jealous, but as I pointed out she chose her riding for her Christmas and birthday presents! I on the other hand haven't treated myself to anything this year except underwear and a coat, I bought stuff for the house including a new kettle and toaster and a fridge. Woohoo exciting!
Hi everyone, I need help. Emme is sending me a contract to sign but how do I sign it on the internet?
Sorry for being so stupid.

If of course you have the printer that scans otherwise you will need her address and send it by snail nail I'm afraid.
Don't worry I have done it. It turned out to be quite clear and easy.
Eva, Sarah, It turns out it's a lot easier than that. You do it electronically, the computer gives you a choice of signitures and you choose one. It's very clever, I love technology. Of course i don't understand it but i still like it.
Hows the new toy?

Lets hope I have better luck with the tablet!
Morning allI shouldn't say this too loudly we have that yellow shiny thing again and blue sky with fluffy clouds which is odd because they said we were down for 9 days of that stuff that wets you and gives you webbed feet!
Morning, We too have the fluffy white things clear blue surrounding but no shiny yellow thing at the moment.
Darkangel wrote: "Morning, We too have the fluffy white things clear blue surrounding but no shiny yellow thing at the moment."
Ours keeps playing hide and seek with the fluffy things! Its quite windy though. I am tired this morning I feel like crawling back into bed but I have to go into town and fetch a printer cartridge and go to the bank
Yes it is quite windy here too, thankfully I am warm in the office (makes a change). I have my nice chicken, mushroom and bacon pasta dish for lunch so will be nice and toasty inside too. Even have my fluffy socks on - hee hee

Darkangel wrote: "Hmmm, our blue surrounding hasn't lasted long, it has turned all grey :o("No ours is still shining and now I am about to put stitch in his cage and go out for a while. Talk later from the tablet providing I can find my WIFI details to open the door to let me in!
Yes I'll second that Happy Thanksgiving and don't forget to say a little prayer as you tuck into your Turkey dinner for all those less fortunate than yourselves, who through no fault of their own are living on the streets in cardboard homes, if they are lucky enough to have a box that is.We have a friend Lori, who's own sister threw her out of her flat not because she hadn't paid her rent but because she could! I hope HER turkey dinner chokes her!
I'm Back! Sausage and chips for lunch maybe even push the boat out and fry an egg or I could even run to baked beans!
Darkangel wrote: "I will just have the egg and chips ;o)"Mmm pork sausages and beans, EGG AND chippies!
afternoon! sarah thanks for the blurb, i sent you the list of each writers books so you can add a link to amazon on the website. Darkangel is doing a contents thingy and at the end of the book I'm adding the website, the email and the list of the books of each author. Any idea at what price I should put it for? ebook and paperback?
Sarah wrote: "Darkangel wrote: "I will just have the egg and chips ;o)"Mmm pork sausages and beans, EGG AND chippies!"
mmmmm! sounds good! I think i might pop into the supermarket and get some sausages and chips, stil got beans from when my mum came over...
Hiya Eva, Contents goes at the front of the book! Almost finished with it. It is not a huge book so maybe £5.99 for the paperback, that way hopefully more people will buy it as it is for charity!

blonde moment, sorry! I was thinking roughly the same, it's not too expensive.

Maybe 4.99 you know the magical its under a fiver and maybe 3.99 for the ebook or keep them both the same as it's for charity!

I'll use the same blurb and maybe put Darkangels santa poem on as a sample - don't want to give too much away on there!
Sarah wrote: "Eva wrote: "afternoon! sarah thanks for the blurb, i sent you the list of each writers books so you can add a link to amazon on the website. Keep it simple!
Darkangel wrote: "I will send you my photo and bio today Sarah."Thanks I'll keep an eye out for that.
@Eva the bios are for the authors, not for anyone else people like to know who's who!
Sharon wrote: "Eva - you have mail!"Grrr.... I am not getting very far with my tablet - so far I have managed to change the date and time and the language to English, which gives me the querty keyboard I'm used to. But one minute it gives me the keyboard to enable the wifi the next it doesn't! Perhaps tomorrow I will manage to enable it I put it away for now before it goes through the window!
Hi people, had a great girls night out. The first pub we went to was flooded out so we had to find somewhere else. The red wine was good and no hang over.
We talked horses, chickens, dogs, partners and of course our off spring.
The weather has been so bad that we were the only ones in the pub plus two others. At eleven a clock they turned the music off and we still chatted. They finally turned the lights off and we took the hint.
The wind has blown the fence down and it is getting quite scary, it reminds me of 87. I don't know how people cope in real hurricans. Time to batten down the hatches and cosy up by the fire.

Oh dear, Sarah. Are you being beaten by technology? I am sure after a nights sleep you will sort it all out. I am still discovering things about my i-phone it always takes awhile.

Lol I love it they could have at least offered you a bottle to go!
Yes it's very windy here too, we have really ferocious winds from time to time so it doesn't bother me now. But I have a roaring log fire the dogs have been out in the garden so if I take them out later it will be a quickie with stitch attached to a lead because if not he'll run off like the other night. It took me ages to get him back in the house when I finally caught him he got sent to Coventry for the night!
Tarian wrote: "Oh dear, Sarah. Are you being beaten by technology? I am sure after a nights sleep you will sort it all out. That will be definite I told Jo she has to come up at least for a long weekend - she has girly friends in Normandy English girls - me all I got was other womens husbands hitting on me when I went to the bars which is why I moved here. Apparently when I became a widow I became desperate and with some of them I would have had to be blind as well!
