Hi Eva,
Your friend Emme has been in touch. Thank you so much for your help, it is really appreciated. It sounds like the flat hunting is going better. Will you be in before christmas?

Sarah, sorry to hear about the caravan situation. We have a problem here with scrap metal, they go for anything. Which has been useful when I threw out an old cooker. It's drains and gates that are the problem.
We have a caravan but it is kept in storage on a farm.

On Tuesday I am off camping and canoeing, on a cheap holiday deal. My partner read the write ups after booking and it sounds like a 'Norman Bates' kind of place. Dirty toilets, bad food and leaky boats. Help! I will let you all know if we survive.
Thanks again for all your kind help.

No problem, her prices are quite reasonable and she is american so maybe you can ask her about the amrican grammar to sell more books in the states. Still flat hunting, it's a pain, part of me can't be bothered with the hassle but the other side can't handle this dump.
trying to recruit some writers to write a kinky anthology for the summer, fancy joining us?

It's so hard moving but if you are in a dump best to get out not good for inspiration.

I'm game, that sounds interesting. I haven't tried that before. Definately interested. How many words?

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Darkangel wrote: "Morning all, how was everyone;s weekend?"

Morning, mine was peaceful and quiet, just what I needed after last week! How was yours?

Sophie's back at school, the house is silent even the dogs are snoozing.

Tranquillity will be short lived though I have to fetch Sophie and Victorine for lunch, sausage and chips with a bowl of homemade vegetable soup for starters! Lovely and warming on a day like today, it's very grey here, dry at the moment I am toasty warm the fire was still in from last night. It doesn't use much wood to keep it in all day the house stays warm rather than warming it from cold in the afternoon which uses more wood!

message 6264: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) It is pretty grey here today as well and I can see the fine rain falling pretty fast. The heater is on in the office, don't think I will be leaving the office in a hurry today.

message 6265: by [deleted user] (new)

Morning Darkangel,
The weekend went surprisingly well considering the boys were partying. It's tomorrow I am concerned about. Today, it is wet, dull and miserable. Tomorrow I am supposed to be camping and canoeing. It's going to be such fun putting a tent up in the rain and then going down a river in a boat that will probably be filling up with water.

How has your weekend been?

Don't blame you I wouldn't leave the house if it weren't for fetching the girls., I was just about to open HOD I looked at it the other day read through the last chapter I was working on 38 still, and I am now deciding the fate of one of my characters!

message 6267: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Ooh Excellent. I look forward to it.

Hiya Tarian, My weekend was quite a lazy one, but I have to admit, I had no motivation to write. Looks like my NaNoWriMo, may not be finished.

Morning Tarian, gosh you are brave, camping in November - come to think of it camping in any weather my tenting days are long behind me caravan I can hack but not a tent, not with my arthritis. Lol I'd never get up off the floor!

I have a big digger working in front of my window at the moment digging the garden where they stored their gravel, I wonder if I ask nicely he'll dig my Kiwi plants and apple trees up ready to take to the new garden?

message 6269: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) You can always ask!

It's a ridiculous challenge if you're working and have a house to clean too. The only way you could achieve it would be to take a month off work and just write! Even I don't have that luxury!

message 6271: by Sarah (last edited Nov 12, 2012 02:26AM) (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Darkangel wrote: "You can always ask!"

I'll let Alain do it later, he knows the digger driver he'll probably be able to persuade him to transport them and the soil to the new garden too!

Changing the subject completely I had a reading app come into my g mail reading fanatic 1000's of free ebooks and paperbacks it is bug and spyware free too.

message 6272: by [deleted user] (new)

I am not brave, it's just that my partner is crazy. It sounds like you have managed to save your caravan but you will have to remove the defences if you want to use it.

I haven't written anything for a few weeks either. I am having a bit of a major re-think. I am thinking of saying good buy to 'Tarian Green' and starting again under a new name. Those books were important to me at the time and were great for learning but now I feel I know where I am going and want to start afresh. So my new book will be under a new name.

It is hard to get motivated this time of year because family takes priority and there is so much to do. I might not do any serious writing until after holls.

message 6273: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I know it's stupid, but I like a challenge, if only I had the get up and go, so to speak, can't even be bothered on the 2 hour train journey - hee hee. Who knows, I might even do it (LOL)

message 6274: by [deleted user] (new)

How would you read all those books, clean, shop and all that other everyday stuff?

message 6275: by [deleted user] (new)

I would sleep on a two hour train journey. You could just doodle ideas.

If you are thinking of changing your name why not use an anagram of your real name (the one on your birth certificate) because that is where your destiny and karma lies, change your name change your karma sometimes for the worse. I am into Numerology and my reading said I am destined to be an entertainer, actor or writer and that's why I used an anagram of my maiden name - I changed nothing the letters remained the same therefore so did my destiny.

The caravan is safe the wheels will stay off now until it moves to its new home it aint going anywhere without wheels! We won't use it until next year now maybe take a long weekend- though dragging Alain away from his garden will be almost impossible! Lots of work needed to bring it into order!

message 6277: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) It is 2 hours there and 2 hours back, which I have to do 5 times a week. :o(

It's not stupid just impossible, I should know the most I managed in a month was 30 odd K!

message 6279: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I know. lol

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Lunch over in 5 minutes time I am taking the girls back to school and then cooking lunch for Alain.

Bloody Stitch left me a present in front of the door when I got back he is treading on very thin ice is that dog if he keeps that up he will be put in the kennel outside in the barn everytime I go out. I put him outside and he's stayed outside while the girls ate lunch and I cleaned the floor!

It's as if he's punishing me for leaving him in the house, well I have worse punishment in store for him when I take them back to school he's going in his cage!

message 6281: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Oh dear - Stitch will learn - the hard way, hee hee!

message 6282: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments Morning girls!
Sarah, i've sent the stories for you write the blurb.
I've given up nanowrimo, I can't do it. To make all the word that I wuld need to finish I would have to write all through the night, because I can't ignore the ids through the day. Never mind, maybe when im rich and famous and have eough money to hire a nanny...lol

message 6283: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning Eva,

I know the feeling. I will just do as much as I can by the end of the month. That way I wont feel pressured.

Thanks Eva,I'll get on with that this evening when everyone is in bed. How are you today? Just who thought up the idea of writing an 80k novel in a month anyway? Definitely a masochist only a single person with no responsibilities, and no work could allow that much time for writing.

message 6286: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) It is only 50k - lol

message 6287: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments it is only 50k, but if you miss one day that's you finished.

message 6288: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments this morning my husband told me, he mentioned to someone at his work about the anthology. Its the first time ever he has bragged about it, I was so happy! it showed me that he was proud of me!

message 6289: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) That is so cool. I have told a few people, and they are just waiting to purchase it ;o)

message 6290: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments I haven't told anybody, I was wanting to see it for sale before I told people, I know; very pessimistic but I didnt want to jinx it.

message 6291: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) What can be jinxing it. We have the go ahead from the charity, it is all systems go now.

message 6292: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Hey Eva, are you going to put a dedication in to the anthology, if so who to?

message 6293: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments well I've never though about it. are you? i thought about utting the quote of the night before xmas, you the "merry xmas to all and to all a good night"

message 6294: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) That sounds perfect.

message 6295: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments do you think we should put a dedication? I thought thats what the aknowlegments were for?

message 6296: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments by the way, ive posted evrything i wrote on nanowrimo if someone fancies havng a looksie.

message 6297: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Acknowledgements are to thank someone, dedication is for someone. It is up to you, just putting the quote might be enough

message 6298: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I will have a little look in a bit, just trying to get my clinic ready.

message 6299: by Eva (new)

Eva King | 1071 comments phew, that's what I'll do, the quote. Ive already started formatting, is not as hard as i thought, just time consuming.
Bu the way, after this one is published we need to get the next one sorted, how about a kinky one? for the summer?

message 6300: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Could be worth a go, and what charity will that one be for?

Also start getting next christmas one started as well, then we can maybe get a few more people interested and have a bit more time to edit.
