That's okay Tarian, I had to order my tablet they'd sold out of the 9inch ones and the 7inch is too small, I want to be able to read the books in my kindle!

Greetings everyone...!!!I am actually an aspiring writer...who is struggling to put pen to paper. But more often guilty...for with some many premature ideas for stories...am still not able to write a full fledged novel.
I have written a few short stories and, till date, four poems...

You need to let her know how hurt you are by her nastiness, next time she asks to read something you have written politely say no not after the last time! She will get the message!

How cruel, sounds like the green eyed monster. Its not good to feed monsters. very gently exclude her from any future projects. None of us should listen to detractors. If she was to read my first book she would think i was completely looney tunes (which is not far off the mark) but that was me in the past not now. Family and friends are there to offer positive support. The rest of the world give us enough stick.Keep your chin up and if you are happy with what you right then that is a sign that it is probably very good. My sister likes to put me down more subtly, so i don't share any more.

Hello Praveen, my advice would be and bare in mind I am a newbie is to just keep writing, write anything. It's a learning curve and time works magic and eventually you find the books will write themselves.

Hello Praveen, my advice would be and bare in mind I am a newbie is to just keep writing, write anything. It's a learning curve and time works magic and eventually you find the books will write themselves.

Same here too, I have to go into town for a quick search for an animal costume for Hugo for Wednesday, I got a skeleton costume for Leon and I'm sending it to Jo in the post so she can dress him in it to come up on Wednesday night. He can trick or treat me when he gets here then! It will be late but he will have slept on the way up so he'll be full of it!

Before I went out we had a power cut so I figured that was as good a time as any to go to town.
I couldn't find Hugo a costume the smallest one was for 3 -4 years! Great selection lion,tiger,dalmation bear and elephant but not one small enough! No pumpkins either! Poor hugo! He'll have to wait until next year to trick or treat!

14 months! Its a shame cos the dalmatian was cute, the elephant too! I know they aren't very scary and halloween like but he's only little!The fog is coming down again over the fields I am going to light the fire in a minute and toast!
So I don't suppose he has any plain colour little tracksuits (preferrably yellow ish in colour), then you could wrap black masting tape aroung him in stripes, make a pair of wings and you have your own little bumble-bee

Okay, so she basically wanted him to do some sort of a dance, I couldn't watch all the clip it was buffering which is more than annoying. I have snail internet here in France, some places have 3G I have 1G if I'm lucky and I am only 8kms from a big town on a main drag.

It's not too bad unless the bratz are on school holidays and then I may as well not bother logging on!
I will upgrade my tower again next year, let my daughter have this one ready for when she starts at college next September providing she doesn't make a hash of her exams and have to do another year in primary school.

Wanna bet! I did a good job of debarrasing mine - my sister in law and step son and daughters don't acknowledge mine and Sophie's existence, his sister and son didn't even turn up for his funeral, none of his family could be arsed.
They all know where we are that's why I use a nom de plume. They weren't interested when I was poor so if by some miracle I join the jet set I intend it remains the same!
A doctor once told my dad he was fat - my dad looked her straight in the the eye and said and you're rude, and have you taken a look in the mirror lately you're no oil painting lady - I can diet and one day I may be slim unfortunately you will still be ugly!
