I like my donuts filled with fresh cream and a little raspberry jam with none of the gritty sugar on top just a sprinkle of icing sugar is fine by me. Can't have one though, on a diet!
They do that, or they have, caramel, custard, glazed etc. Endless but you are right we are both on a diet :o(
Hiya hunHow are you today? Stopped laughing yet? I finished the chapter last night it is hilarious, everything I had in my head came tumbling out I'll send it to you when I have edited it, after I finish preparing dinner and then I have to drive to Guern with lunch for Sophie and her friend. geraldine deserves a break today she has had her mother and father staying with her for 10 days and is absolutely shattered!
I made my special Macaroni Gratin it has grated carrot, courgette, onion and tomatoes with a dash of worcestershire sauce topped with macaroni and diced ham in a cheese sauce and finished off with a cover of breadcrumbs mixed with parmesan.
So I am told it is yummy, I have never actually managed to get a helping so I can only take sophie's word for it!
So it looks like you have a busy day lined up. I am a bit quiet until midday when the first half of the clinic is finished. But I look forward to reading the finished chapter. I need a coffee, not had one yet!

I need a coffee, n..."Yes phew glad lunch is over two different lunches for 3 people, I cheated and opened pate for starter followed by braised pheasant in cider with carrots snips onions apples and mushrooms served with boiled potatoes followed by tarte tatin, (upside down apple pie) That's me done eating for the day I think I will just have a yoghurt for supper!
Sharon wrote: "I just had a jacket spud with a salad, hmmm has certainly filled me up."I believe you, piece of tarte tatin Sharon? It was/is very nice all caramely and buttery don't worry I used reduced fat butter and no one noticed the difference!
My idea of cheating was opening a jar of pate I made last year (kilner jar) cooked and sealed tight in a vacuum, trouble is it is very rich and my tummy is complaining bitterly now! Serves me right!
It is hard putting a chef on a diet, because when I get the urge to cook it's not usually stuff I should be eating!
Sharon wrote: "you are terrible. Honestly my salad was full of flavour but the tarte tatin does sound good :P"It was, though I only had a very small piece, well it looks bad if the chef won't eat what she's cooked! I would love to sit down sometimes with a nice salad with a jacket potato and prawns in reduced fat rose marie sauce of course, but salad in france is just a head of lettuce, the type we call a salad is 'salade compose de Magret de Canard fumee' and stuff like that.
You really want a laugh sometimes I stand and look in the fridge and can't think of anything I'd like to cook and I have the ingredients that would would make can't cook won't cook contestants green with envy!
I can imagine. Now I just don't know what to do for dinner tonight, might do Chicken pies as I know Renee loves chicken pies!
Sharon wrote: "I can imagine. Now I just don't know what to do for dinner tonight, might do Chicken pies as I know Renee loves chicken pies!"Now are we talking making them from scratch or Birds Eye, and of course you will tell them its not home made!
You can make a nice easy pie with cooked left over chicken mushrooms and a tub of low fat creme fraiche or soft cheese, use frozen pastry and diet wise just a hat not top and bottom pastry!
It is a frozen one. I don't have time to cook fresh by the time I get home. Besides she is quite fussy when it comes to food.
Sharon wrote: "It is a frozen one. I don't have time to cook fresh by the time I get home. Besides she is quite fussy when it comes to food."Lucky you I don't have the luxury of frozen meat pies unless I make them myself and freeze them. The French don't understand that form of culinary talent! They put cheese and ham in theirs and sometimes Salmon and spinach!
Sharon wrote: "I'll have mine without the Salmon, I have to admit it is the one fish I really do not like."Rank I know a fish pie should have potatoes on top with veggies and prawns mussels and Salmon too I love Salmon, all cooked in a creamy wine sauce. Yum.
I am now going to do the pots and then I'm off to see a friend for an hour.
Errol the whole chapter is winging its way to you now! TTYL hun.
Morning hunI am off to look at a caravan this morning, a nice one (I hope) or I will have egg on my face after all the fuss I've made over it!
How was Errol? He's changed a little I got trigger happy again last night but you will have to wait until you proof read it to read the changes I worked it all out during the night I know the ending I want!
Morning hunWoohoo I finally got on its only taken me since 8.30! Its horrible here today wet and windy whats it like with you!

And then it came up three times and now the edit button won't work I think we have a gremlin in the works guys. Maybe it's being spied on!
Hiya hun,It is the same here, wet, cold and windy and now they are threatening snow by the end of the week, great just what I need.
SNOW! Bloody hell its only the beginning of October it will be like Siberia by Christmas if it starts snowing now! LOL
I know, I am just thinking of all the days I can have off. The trains wont work in those conditions ;o) LOL
I like your style is your goodreads as bizarre as mine today? I just scanned for bugs it's acting so weird. I can get on the net no problems just this thats being a pain.
Bizarre, every time I post it logs me out and back to a list of postings! I am tweeking Errol again, sorry I need it to be just so I have toned it down a little after all it is supposed to be a suspense thriller not a comedy. I have turned it round because it will (hopefully make the reader see the light) at the end of the book, Margaret had talked of changing her image and her name and moving away to make a new life for herself. What she didn't anticipate is what's coming next!
48 is the figure I have in mind, depends how long they are - and then the epilogue. The end of the beginning or the beginning of the end!
TTYL chapter 46 is calling me and the suns out so I have to go and feed the pesky chickens before it starts snowing here too!
Morning hunHow are you this cold, damp, miserable morning I might even have to light a fire today, or the washing piling up in the bathrooms won't ever get done!
I am on chapter 47 didnt get anything done at the weekend as we went to look at the caravans, the 400E was a pile of junk, he must have sent the photos from when he first bought the van! It was filthy inside beer cans and rotten wood everywhere and it had shrunk!
The second one was exactly what I though it was and fine so Alain made an offer and they accepted, I towed it home with us. Something I haven't done in years I spent 3 weeks plus touring Scotland alone with a huge 5 berth tourer while my ex spent the three weeks in hospitals the length and breadth of Scotland!
Hiya hun,It is so windy here today as well but the sun does keep trying to come out. Good news about the caravan. I didn't do much over the weekend just what I planned to do - sit there with the fire on and do some reading. Perfet.
Hi HunI'm not getting mail notifications again! Well I am almost coming to the end I had to go out on an errand for Alain this morning so I had to leave off for a while but he is taking his car to be MOT'd this afternoon so I will have peace until sophie comes home from school. The pots will wait the ending is burning a hole in my head and is going to be finished today!

How far have you got? Jane down in Exeter managed the first chapter last night before her eyes said no more. She isn't looking for faults she is looking for inspiration for the cover design. Fault finding with Jane would be a bit pointless she's dyslexic! Even when its wrongly spelled it looks right to her poor thing.
It must be awful to be dyslexic terribly hard in this day and age and then again easier, with all the computer aided spelling programmes!
Sophie said last night "now you've finished the book mummy, when are you going to start on the next so that I can have my pony sooner rather than later!"
What can you say to that! "I'll get right on it sweetheart as soon as I've got through the washing, ironing, cleaning and painting I have to do before Christmas!"
No pressure then eh!
LOL - of course no pressure, you just get right on in there and carry on writing. Haven't started it yet, it seems that I didn't stop yesterday so am hoping to start it later today. Can't wait to get my teeth into it.
Sharon wrote: "LOL - of course no pressure, you just get right on in there and carry on writing. Haven't started it yet, it seems that I didn't stop yesterday so am hoping to start it later today. Can't wait to ..."I have to go to take Alain's mum to the hairdressers this morning, 7 Children and their spouses goodness knows how many grandchildren. So why is it always me that get's lumbered?
Too soft I suppose and she is always grateful, after all if she upsets me she would be shafted wouldn't she!
Teresa wrote: "Congratulations on finishing the book Sarah! ^.^"Thanks Teresah, it certainly feels good I have finished for now, I still have editing to come unfortunately for me I have not seen the last of Mad Malcolm and his cronies they are waiting to pull me back inside.....
Help!!!!
Looks like sophie will be getting that pony after all. I am sorry, what kind of friend am I? Congratulations. I am clearly have a blonde week and not just a moment ;o)
Sharon wrote: "Looks like sophie will be getting that pony after all. I am sorry, what kind of friend am I? Congratulations. I am clearly have a blonde week and not just a moment ;o)"Yep if she cleans her room, and I thought you already did say well done!
I have done Paul's review for the book at long last though I haven't heard from him in ages. Hope he's okay.
Sharon wrote: "Maybe I did. i am clearly loosing it - lol. How is the review?"I think I managed it okay I have yet to transfer it to Amazon I'll keep it the same I think, I gave positive feedback. Have you heard anything from Paul on Twitter? He hasn't been on ambitious writers either for the longest time neither has he answered the last two emails I sent. I hope he's okay, I thought maybe he was sulking because I hadn't done the review, but I did explain in the emails.
